Thanks for the video tutorial. Mine didn’t have a screw in the middle hence I used a flat headed pryer tool and pry it from the side.. and also I didn’t have any left over silver paper (from Cheng Beng) so I used regular white A4 paper that works too.. cheers

I found that the quality of the screen depends on the silver paper. Reflective but matte is good. The purpose is to reflect light but not too shining. I have even used the inside of a milo powder package 😂.

How do you stick the paper to the glass?

Any silvered paper will do or was it some specialized material?

Any white paper will do. I used a piece of tissue.

Any will do.. We got it from the inner part of milk or drink boxes

Aluminum foil.... the inside of milk drink box.. it's just to help reflect lights

Under the foil, the glue is extremely smelly. Is it toxic? Smells like toxic vinegar.

I have fixed with minimal steps.. i just use a white paper, and didn't clean the glue residue 😂 it works anyway

Good tips, but i found it another way.
Here's the solution!
1. Disperse the remote control.
2. Gently peel the white plastic on the screen without scratch the glue.
3. Cut the cans (coke, 100 plus) as the same size of the screen.
4. Place the cans as you had cut earlier on the glue side.
5. Put an extra layer as a spacer.
6. Assemble everything back and you're ready to go!

Hell notes silver from the center.. just use regular white paper; that works too..

easy to peel of any sticker or glue residue than by usiing sharp razor/knife that will harm the lens
