Great video. You can lower the volume and turn on Closed Captions..
Good video, but music is extremely irritating
Indeed, sir... indeed
Ainda bem que meu celular tem função "baixar volume".
Noise rather than music 🤬
Good work buddy, nice fix. 👍🏽👍🏽Thanks for sharing the repair, appreciated.
I agree with Nigel Macleod You need to dump the music.
... and the robot narration. "Del-a-deem-i-ted"? Try "de-LAM-ih-na-ted."
THE MUSIIIC KILLS MY BRAINCELLS.
Very instructive thanks
I have one but with big black stain on the top like a liquid leak
It can be fixed?
i also have the same problem.
Any photo to share?
I also have the same problem. Half the screen on my cordless air pump has become black.
@@lindsayjones421 Everyone, look up these search terms on UA-cam:
LCD burn
LCD bleed
LCD cancer
LCD dead pixels

Wow craftsmanship 👌🙏🏻🇮🇳
Where can we get the polarised sheet? Please provide the link for purchase. Very informative video and it will be useful to many who are having the same problem and this video is the solution.
"I think we need a little more cowbell."
Sangat membantu sekali, terimakasih,
Itu polarizernya pakai polarizer negatif apa positif boos?
Keep the music soft like in the background? Teaching is lost when music is loud.
What glue is used if I don't have it on the polarizer?
The film comes with the adhesive
@@yaowen12 Thank you.
knock off the music - sounds like something you would hear in the jungle
No...if you heard something in the jungle, they would be playing those Congo drums. Lol.
they should edit this video again, but without music, i could turn the volume down, but i would not hear the steps
You can turn down the volume and turn on Closed Captions [cc]
Irritating music with good informative video
Thanks for the post. Learnt a lot. Best wishes :)
Is that film you used similar to car window tint?
the san andreas meme at the end caught me way off guard ngl
Good information, Did you grow up listening to that particular music?
Hi
How much the angle of polarization is important? Or do I need to rotate th polarizer until I get the right reading on the display? Many thanx!
Depending on the angle you can get black signs on a transparent background or transparent signs on a black background. You need to check before cutting it. So best check before taking the LCD out of the unit
@@patrickcardon1643what about the back one?
Nice choice of music. Did you make this track? Reminds me a bit of 1990's minimal techno. I guess by looking now at other comments about the music is they are all big Katy Perry fans.
You mean noise hux...
Can this be done to repair a 10-inch SuperTwist reflective LCD in my NEC MultiSpeed computer?
well done 👌💐
Amazing and very informative video
did you have two layers of polarizer film on originally. It still looks tinted after you scraped off a layer. I did mine and had two layers and the glass lcd was clear after scraping
Didn’t he say at the beginning that there was polarizer film on both sides of the glass?
He said that there was polarization film on both sides of the glass, but the one on the back side is the one that is more likely to fail so he tried replacing that first and it fixed the problem.
The video would be so much better without that psychodelic music..
Truly the music is irritating and disturbing very badly. Your only voice will serve the real purpose.
very nice product, hope to have more talks with you, cause we factory could customize and bulk produce your orders. we support small order as well.
I am trying to understand why the paper is needed? Would just replacing the lcd screen with the adhesive one like you did be enough? Or is the paper used to just told the screen in place along with the adhesive?
You need the paper for contrast. Without it, you would see though the polarizing film and see the back of the equipment which might not provide sufficient contrast.
Paper is used for reflective background I think
Is that polarized film a special material? Is it easily available? Can it be substituted with other material?
You need a polarizing film, it can not be substituted with something else.
@@Peter_A1466and a source for the polarizing film for the LCD display???
@@Subgunman you can use stuff you can buy for telephone screens. Just look for polarising film.
does it work the same for coloured screen
Yes.
Not clear if you used the adhesive side to adhere down!
First you will need to determine If the polarization filter needs to be replaced on the front of the LCD glass screen or the back of the screen. In some cases it is both, but most of the time, the back filter is the one that goes bad first. (According to the video).
Now Listen at 9:28 and at 11:16
In this example, The adhesive side is to stick to the back of the glass LCD screen.
BUT if you want, you can use clear tape instead to hold the lcd glass, the polarization film and the white paper backing together.
If you use clear tape option, then you do not need to expose the adhesive on the polarization filter.
Note:
Even though using the adhesive on the polarization filter to stick to the back of the glass LCD screen is the preferred method for some people, you may find it helpful to use the clear tape instead so that you can test if the display is working with the polarization film replaced. If you find that it's working now, then you can go ahead and apply the adhesive side to the LCD glass. Hope this helps.
If you decide to apply the adhesive to the glass screen, you have to be careful not to trap any dirt, dust, lint, or air bubbles. Be very careful.
@@REXXSEVEN_IIthanks this is pro tips
So, whats the actual cause of this? Is it simply the polarizing layer coming slightly unstuck?
Does this come from direct sunshine or heat from the unit? So what you are thinking is that some of the polarising layer simply loses its polarising properties due to some form of heat.
Spesification the polariz, please. 90°?
The paper purpose?
Hello, maybe you can help me, I replaced the damaged lcd display of my Boafeng UV-6R.
When I install a new lcd, it has a high contrast, only when the battery is low does it allow reading.
Thanks
Likely replaced the polarizing film in wrong orientation
silver vynil for the back might have been better
Just using chrome painted TV polarizer as a backlight
Very intuitive well done, but only if its true. The music is too loud and repetitive. Please find some better music like Vangelis, thanks.
Why did u use white paper n n n
I am watching this video from India and I face same problem in my pulsar 150 bike miter
I do same process as you suggest and result degit cut.... plz suggest me how can I stop this mistake
The repetitious background music caused me to turn off the sound, and just turn it on where I had to in order to figure out what was going on.
Scrap the music.
Too bad you don't show how to properly orient the polarizer. Other than that oversight, very good.
Please tell us sir
White paper is not a good solution for the background.... still struggling to find the correct material....
I have seem metalic stuff used in old gaming machines.
CURSE THE DAMN SOUND.
WHY CANT YOU KEEP THE VOLUME LEVEL LOW AND LET US ENJOY THE VIDEO.
Would have been a good video, but the banging music or noise was too much for me!!!!!
Cristal líquido como se fabrica
I often watch these things with no sound, captions, and 75% speed. What music?? 😂
Great video tho, very informative.
The background Music is kind of decent. But I can't see being able to focus on what's being shown with it playing at the same time.
@@2tallBThen I speeded it up to 1.75x and it is crazy 🤣
dump the music
Crap music and MUCH TOO LOUD!!! Quite irritating!!
*GET RID OF THE FRICKIN MUSIC!*
Yeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaw
Please stop it with this stupid music
HI, what is the name of the adhasive tape
Good quality strong cello tape! Buy a glue gun, that will do the trick! put a thin layer on it!
