Signal on the left: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, an NEG electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a sick NEG electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, RECO LED gate lights, and an NEG LED gate light.
After catching M781 here, I wanted to get the side with the sick NEG e-bell, so I moved over to this side to record it. Didn't have to wait too long, however, it seems, as about half an hour later, CSX I038 came through the crossing with a CM44AC pulling and an ET44AH working as the mid-train DPU.
As you can see, no major changes have occurred to this crossing. However, as you can hear, the NEG e-bell on the near side of the crossing was sick at the time. I believe it may have been due to a loose connection to the bell, but either way, I can confirm that CSX has since fixed it and it rings normally again.

Great catch! Never heard an sick NEG E-Bell sound like that.
Thanks!
Wow, Not going to lie, that's one sick bell
Great catch! That NEG E-Bell sure sounded nasty! Glad CSX has since fixed it though. I like the K5H on the lead unit, even if it’s a bit fouled.
Thanks!
nice catch and crossing
Thanks!
Sounds almost like the loud Type 2s CN likes to use lol.
Also, a sick bell AND a sick horn. RIP
Do You Mean GS Type 2 Electronic Bells ?
How do you know CSX fixed the bell rather than replacing it with a new NEG bell?
I saw it in person, and it's very much the same bell (as it's in the same condition).
