Hi guys, greetings from Mexico.....thanks for sharing....have you guys seeing the inner-tailights of a T-bird from the 90's? Mine it's a 93, and there's no new parts of those down here in Mexico, so I'm gonna give it a try on them, but I'm afraid of crack the plastic up, because of the wear caused by the desert sunlight very common down here in my hometown. Any special tips before I start? Any help would be much appreciated and God Bless you all.
Thanks man! Best of luck to you on your taillight quest! We don't have any experience with a T bird. Im sure you can find plenty of info around the web though!
Thank you guys for the video i need to do this to my 2000 Firebird, also need a trunk lid with raised spoiler if anyone here has one for sale please. 👍 BTW, what kind of glue did you use to seal the tail lights back and are they now water proof?
Thanks for showing us all how not to restore them this way! This video gives me an anxiety attack. I would love a follow up to this video in a year or so when condensation forms back inside and the paint flakes.
Just asking - could you have skipped a step by buying more powerful LED bulbs and NOT having to separate the outer and inner tail light parts just to spray it silver on the inside? Just do the sanding to clean up the outside? Or even just buff it with polishing liquid?
There is usually water on the inside of the taillights. If he just buffed/polished the outside there would still be water on the inside and it does mess up the shiny part and his light would still be dim.
I saw another video before yours, and the guy put the taillight housing in the oven at 200 degrees after that he used a plastic prying tool a metal spatula and so on.he had an easier time taking it apart than you guys, hindsight is 20/20. Anyway great video.
Really appreciate how to restore the lights, thanks! I only skipped thru parts of this video because I can't stand it when someone makes a video and playing background music when someone's talking.
It's people like you that give us the ideas and urge to do things. Keep it up.
Very good job. Lots of folks have no idea why one gets darker lol.
What type of adhesive did you use?
We are really stoked with how great these came out! What do you guys think?
What type if glue did you use? Afyer 5 yesrs, gors the glue hold? Looking to purchase same glue/adhesive if it holds up. Thanks.
Good job gents, did you guys put on any type of UV protection?

Great job guy's
Awsome work! Good Job
Are you guys near Houston?
Turned out awesome, just curious, what spray paint did you use after the primer
? Thank you 😊
I have a question about a cam install??
Does the chrome spray paint really get rid of the blacked out look and make them shine red again? Hard to tell from the vid.
Theres another video i watched and theres a big difference before and after, im assuming the more chrome you get it the brighter they will be
Perfect.Im using this as a guide to fix mines at this very minute lol
Next video, how to get algae out of a swimming pool!!
Nice work
Awesome thanks, just got these for $100 for the set. Gonna do exactly this and get new bulbs. Well besides taking it apart, unless I have to.

What's the best glue to use
We used a 2-part epoxy, similar to what was on there from the factory.
good job fellas
Thanks!
I’ve been wanting to do that to mines

For real 😂
Eh so what. You’ll have to buy new ones eventually

This video should of been named how NOT to restore your taillights the right way, everything they did, they broke something or mest up somehow.
looked better before they f ed them up....
Other then chipping that one piece off I didn’t see anything damaged regarding the tail lights.
Really appreciate how to restore the lights, thanks! I only skipped thru parts of this video because I can't stand it when someone makes a video and playing background music when someone's talking.
thats a nightmare to separate those tail lights

Need to apply clear coat paint and the lens will last forever.
Putting them in the oven is more efficient
I would have more criticism, but at the least, you're not racist.
So yes, you earned a pass.
There's so much wrong in this video, I don't know here to start...
You broke a piece of the taillight and still posted this saying this is how it's supposed to be done?
Just broke mine........ Bye bye 600 dollars...
