I tried out Nameless, CRdriod, stagOS, pixel experience and more on my OP9 pro, I found that Xtended is the best rom last year. Shame it is no longer updated but I just use it as a spare phone so I don't mind not having latest security patch. Everything still works great with unlimited backup on google photos as well.

Yes if u flash the new updated file from recovery without any format it will automatically update ur phone to latest version of custom rom . This method is called Dirty flash.

I have OP 9 pro (8+128 variant) I had the same problem and I fixed it. Just switch back to oxygen os 11 ,turn off the updates and don’t update ur phone at any cost. Believe me man I’m getting around 1500 score in geekbench 6 and constantly 85-90 fps in pubg (Classic match). Hope it’ll work for u and let me know😉
