Some of these comments aren't nice at all. How about no one pass judgement. I think Jason told his truth in a kind way. Grant has every right to tell or not tell his side. Either way I always loved the show and for heaven sake stop condemning either one. Thanks for the years of entertainment. Love to all❤
I remember years ago Grant saying that he was not "traveling" anymore with the rest of the crew because of family matters, but he was still going to be behind the scenes working. Kind of got the feeling his wife was tired of him being gone all the time but who knows🤷🏼♀️.

Am sorry that happened Jason. I loved the original show and I live not that far from where the original office was. I also want to say I used to work as a cashier in Walmart in Coventry about 10 years ago and I met you a couple of times there and also originally at the camping show in Providence before that. You were always really nice to me. All the best to you, your family and all the Ghost Hunters team.

The editor used a picture of the wrong Brian. The Brian from the reboot is Brian Murray. The Brian from the early shows (that you are referring to) was Brian Harnois.
He stole a bunch of their equipment.
I thought at onetime that Grant left needed some time off so he bought a B & B or something like that. He brought the ghost hunters team in, Steve Dave & Jason & they investigated this place. Ill have to check but that was the buzz way back that i remember. I was a huge fan never missed an episode,til Grant left then not such a big fan.

I would have thought it happened the other way. Jason always seemed to be the not so friendly guy in the bunch. Grant always seemed very amiable. Frankly I would have watched 10x over before Jason.
It wouldn't even be "Ghost Hunters" without you Jason! The "Team" is a Family and I am proud that you all stuck together like you have. Your team is the Best out there and the show would be damaged if it changed too much........ you guys have a rapor..... your personalitys compliment the others.... seeing how you guys react, interact with each other is how a show like this is held together . The Science of the field is there...the different techniques used.....yep its got it....i have watched yall since the very first show.....and now im sitting here watching an entire channel dedicated to just yall....🥳 Thanks Jason, Steve, Tango and gang for sticking together no matter What 🎉

I’ve known Jason and Grant for years. Both are wonderful and I pray someday both get back on speaking terms.
Grant's show looks like it was 100% cast with DEI in mind. The first thing (and it kind of overwhelmed the show IMO) was "who are all these people and why are they all so diverse?" In the past, the team consisted of Jason and Grant's friends and it showed.

Wow, talk about a slap in the face. I was wondering why all of a sudden Grant showed up with another team when he had been on ghost hunters for quite some time. That makes me look at him in a whole new perspective. You don’t stab your friends in the back
You don't know Grant's side and making a judgement call knowing only half the story. Like a lot of the people in this comment section, you are taking Jason's word as gospel without even considering there may be more to the story from another perspective (Grant's). There are two sides to EVERY story and making knee jerk decision with knowing only half of the story is mistake.

It's very possible Grant wanted to go back but Jason said no and that's why Grant went another way.

Then why you let Jason slide on his lack of integrity? He's had nothing good to say about the Warren's on his programs but he'll go on other programs singing their praises. That's when I was done with him.

no. UA-cam and the like are flooded with channels faking nearly everything.
you're getting ghosts, demon possessions, poltergeists and exorcisms all in a
30min video. any channel on TV wanting to complete with that would have to
fake just as much if not more into a shorter time due to commercials. I think the
days of Ghost Hunter type shows on TV are over.

Team Jason. Grant did come back with totally different people and Jason came back with the team. I love Jason, Steve and Tango. They add humor to it and I believe their investigations. Grant seems like a good guy but...Jason stayed with the team. Can't wait to see new stuff!
Wow... this isn't where I thought this was going because I didn't even know WHEN it was rebooted! Remember seeing Amy and what's his face in a show once and then Grant in another... and had NO idea of anything going on between everyone. Still miss Brian though from the first 2 seasons from way back. DUDE RUN! 🤣

Brian stunk as a investigator
Really? Brian was the most unprofessional person in the group. He was a horrible investigator and got in to the clients personal belongings too many times. He ought to have been ousted after the first time he did that.
Brian Harnois was arrested and served time for defrauding fans on ticket sales for conventions he was supposedly scheduled to make appearances at. He would do a "No show" and keep the funds.

I would say I can't believe, but I do, that the production personnel thought that you can just cast a paranormal team! No, these are trained individuals, not actors. Sure, you can cast an actor to wave an EMF meter and look concerned, but that doesn't mean they understand what they are doing. You can tell the difference.
I love the version with the original team. Couldn't watch the other one for some reason. It never grabbed me

I have watched Ghost Hunters since it was on the Science Channel. That was the first paranormal show I watched and was hooked from the very first episode. I like Grant, I think he was/is a great investigator. I don't think he was ever one to fake anything nor Jason. However, my opinion is that the fame of the show and the people got to Jason. He seemed to get a little cocky in the later episodes. His little interviews during the episodes he would always say "Me and Grant". which one drove me crazy as a teacher because it is grammatically incorrect and 2 he didn't want to be 2nd, I feel, giving himself more importance. Even in this video he still says "me and Grant" . Im not quite sure how they ended up ghost hunting, but they are listed as co founders of TAPS (and the show Ghost Hunters). I think Grant was upset because it seemed like Jason was the main one and probably upset him that Jason never corrected that, as far as I saw. In the most recent Ghost Hunters show with Jason and his team, Jason seems he's mellowed out some. So hopefully one day the entire team returns at least for 1 show.
I totally agree. The success of Ghost Hunters went to Jason’s head. Grant was so much more down to earth.

That drives me crazy, too, but as someone who lives in the area, there's a looot of blue collar people and that's just how they talk. I've had 25 yrs to get used to it and try to be less judgmental about it.
We know Grant was faking it for the cameras. Money was the factor. Grant is lying about and faking ghosts intentionally. No respect for him.
Ghost Hunters years ago was a really good show but even when Jason took it back the last couple of years in my opinion was very boring
I think that Jason is what you see, nothing very complicated. Grant on the other hand, him being a Mormon (LDS Church) makes me see him in a different light. I faithfully watched shows where he was caught in the act of faking evidence!! That and his membership in that church, makes me think he is a less ethical and reputable person. But this is my opinion!!
It can happen to anyone. Kinda similar...I've been in several bands in the 80s and 90s (local, not big name), and we made some great music. But inevitably, differences arose. Different people wanted to go different directions. It's just a fact of life that can happen in team oriented situations.
Jason if you see this, please you all put things behind you and return the original cast and Brian and I assure you a reboot will swamp the ratings. I live 6 miles from The Major Grahm mansion where you all did a show. I think the world of all of you even though you do not know me. I play the harp and in those old Victorian mansions, the spirits would come out to hear me. They had that kind of music in those places.
There's a thing called loyalty and unfortunately Grant didn't have that to his friends. He made his bed..

Grant did his show from Clifton, Az and he would not go back to Clifton, the next day. Must have been too much activity for him because his crew were back the next day. I damn well and good know Clifton, Az is haunted, I lived in the Morenci/Clifton area from1971 thru 2002. Morenci is just as haunted as well.

Jason is a great guy and I believe he's telling the truth and I always liked him better than Grant
I tried watching the new GH with Grant and the new team. But things were missing. A few of the people I didn't hate, but could not get into their mannerisms maybe? Even my adult daughter agreed with me, and that rarely happens.
Then when Jason and a familiar team came back with a different show name Ghost Nation, I was happy again. Now they have the GH name back again, but I can't afford to pay to watch the show.
As much as i feel Jason is valid in his feelings. I also understand Grant accepting the reboot. I like both teams.
The new series isnt the same without Jason. But i didnt mind Grant's team! They had some great episodes.
What I'd like to know is who's idea was it to fake several episodes the most faked of which was the halloween special at the The Stanley Hotel live where whoever it was who wanted to fake it had pre-recorded disembodied voices which said "you don't belong here"? That's my question?

@@Bad2theboneparanormal It is not in the Stanley hotel Halloween ep. closest thing is in the fort Delaware halloween ep in the so called tunnels where its " your not suppose to be here" and grant gets his jacket pulled downwards (not backwards) 3 times. personally not saying its faked or not, just that the evidence seems a little to good to be true all things considered but you never know.

I love the original show and the new one I wish you the best I've always wondered why he did a ghost hunters on a and e and didn't join the original cast on the travel channel but he has his reasons I guess being apart of a hit show with a cast and crew is like being in a band you never know when one isn't happy he said it was his wife that wanted him home more but I agree if my friend would have did his own show instead of reuniting it would rub me the wrong way hopefully one day you can reunite with Grant you both had a great relatable friendship on Ghost Hunters the original TAPS crew but it's awesome to see all of you doing great paranormal shows and are still friends
It sucks because you both worked great together and seemed close friends. I used to watch the show all the time. Maybe we don't need to know this.
I personally stopped watching after Grant left, wasn't as good and didn't seem as professional after he was gone, seemed they were missing something and trying way too hard to prove stuff. I watched the show for pure entertainment, laughable at what some think is a ghost. after Grant left it seemed they stopped trying to disprove stuff, instead everything became a true haunting.
Very disappointing he doesn't even address Grant leaving the show while it was still on the air!?? I'm sure that's what everyone wants to know about. What they did five or six years later adds credence to the fact they must have had a serious falling out. I just commented to Jason I believe a lot of people would like to see him do some investigations with dude run Mr Brian Harnois 👻
I wanna know the reason why that dude in the very beginning of the show was let go. Grant and Jason both gave him the bad news that he was being fired out at a baseball field if I remember correctly.

@@YeOldeGeezer I always felt that he was set up and Jason was mean to him. The man had a problem and they just pounced on him and I cannot believe Jason says he loved him and being good friends. From what I read its a bunch of bull crap..Brian was a good ghost hunter and when he had to leave , it gradually went down hill. I read somewhere one of Jason's side kicks ratted on Brian and set him up to fail He would tell Jason everything Brian said thus keeping Jason on his backk (You know who you are!!)

I don't like people that have a personal preference above the people that work together for success as a team. You're either part of a team or you're not. There really isn't anything wrong with what Grant did because the "team" wasn't functioning as such. The "gut punch" has more to do with hurt feelings and finding out the past wasn't appreciated as you are (misled) to believe. I know because this sort of thing happened to me and it sucked.

I think what’s really bothering him is that Grant had a better opportunity. Don’t take it personally dude. That’s what happens in TV. You take the best offer and the one that is going to further your career.
I watched the show from the beginning, and it was really good for quite a few years. Then in my opinion - Jason got big head syndrome. Grant got sick of it. I could not even watch the show without yawning by the end of it. Also why do these shows need to use so many sound effects. Again in my opinion - not needed.
I remember when Grant left the show and people were asking (in the SYFY chat) who was going to take his place. Many people asked if it would be Steve. The answer from Jason was "no", that no one could take Grant's place. Not much longer after that Steve was the new co-lead investigator. I always felt Grant took the fall for a lot of the faking because people wanted Grant gone. I mean, here we are discussing how Grant never has anyone's back and yet Jason makes multiple videos dissing Grant so I guess I can't blame him (Grant) for not wanting to be around that. And imo Grant was always more likeable. Just watching reruns of how Jason treated Brian and Grant makes me think it's not Grant who is necessarily that bad one here. Btw, didn't this "friendship" break up long ago, like after Grant left and when Jason and Grant coowned a inn? Seems like they sold that and the friendship. (Another P.S., Amy/Adam, Kris Williams, Donna, etc have claimed in the past that Jason wanted them gone. Gotta make room for your kids somehow...)
Donna left because of her failing health due to her auto immune disease. However yes I had heard of claims of discrimination towards Kris, Amy, and Adam from some other members of TAPS.

Jason seems like a great guy but my hunch is Grant got tired of being the sidekick. He just wanted to break free and try something on his own. Be his own man. Sort of like what happened to Dean Martin with Jerry Lewis. Nobody's fault.

Jason, I have watched this over and over again, thinking about that Halloween special. Then, I think back to all of those eps on GH where you guys caught irrefutable proof. Back to the jacket "tug", I have a hard time believing Grant would do something like that. I just.... um.... I can't. I'm floored. I'm beyond the floor. I want to know "why?". Why did he do this? From St Augustine, to capturing the image of the CW soldier nodding, to the PRINCESS RESPONDING TO YOU!!!! How? Why? I don't get it. I loved GH. I own several seasons that now, I'm skeptical of watching. I know YOU wouldn't fake anything and I remember that restaurant that tried to trick you and your red face as he smirked and chuckled about it and I'm heartbroken. I still love you guys and I will watch you on anything but, I'm just shattered about Grant. I'm deeply sorry he had to do that with no remorse.

I think Grant's wife didnt want him traveling around with other females that were in the group. Even on that reboot show Grant did with other crew members, Grants wouldn't be there on a episode or show up at the end of the episode, thought that was strange.

I don't watch the show. They never catch or see anything like those bigfoot shows. But I heard him say "Loyalty"? But he was gonna do the show on his own? But then the other dude did it instead?
