Let me clarify a few things that I think might have been lost in the video. I want Debunkers and Skeptic to keep doing what they are doing. They are needed more today than ever. Also, I do feel Satori and Cody owe a video talking about this and responding to the controversy. If it was me, I'd do it like I have in the past. I think some people just need to be respectful and actually be willing to hear them out, Let them answer questions, without being called names and personally attacked. Never stop looking for the truth! Love to you all! ❤
Thank you for standing up for your daughter and Cody. It’s a breath of fresh air for me to see a father speak up on behalf of their daughter. It’s a rare characteristic to see and it’s much appreciated. They have a gift and I believe they were aware of the backlash but you are right people are cruel behind a keyboard and it’s one thing to disagree for whatever personal reasons but a whole different reason when you are just spewing out hatred.
I will keep supporting Satori and Cody and I look forward to learning what they learn about this gift along the way. They themselves are beautiful people with beautiful souls, it’s not a surprise the dead and the living are drawn to them because they have such a light of love.
We do need debunkers. We should be able to talk to each other and have intelligent debates. No need for insulting and name calling.

Mr. Hawes, do you agree that they should prove this method? You also have to understand this specific situation. I'm only speaking for myself- Sam and Colby stated over and over again (to your daughter as well) that this would "change the world", etc. It got very hyped pre and post video. Since Sam and Colby do have such a big audience I'm sure their would have been some questions regardless but I think the hype might have made this snowball into what it is now.
I agree with you totally Jason 💯 There will always be negative and positive in this world...its hard to deal with the negative no matter what it is in life. You all stay strong and keep being you .... don't give up and keep moving forward... don't let anyone make you decide to not do what you do...paranormal, life after death...there is so much we don't understand and science can't debunk it ...I wish you all well and much love ❤Do it for the supporters/believers... never give up... I've done around 500 investigations in the UK and to be honest I've never come across knocking like that in my life, they were such quick clear responses and that doesn't happen in a real life investigation and that's why it's being questioned, also why wouldn't they debunk the debunkers on video and take their shoes and socks off when being interviewed by project fear. They said they would only do that at a time and place of their choosing, why? So they have time to think up a way to fake again is what everyone thinks. Yes you will stick up for your daughter Jason but they DO charge and they are faking for results, it sucks and is ruining our field

Satori and Cody do have a gift. It is called acting. They could put all the questions to rest but refuse to do so. They have already been debunked and as much as I respect you, I do not respect them.
Just have them take socks and shoes off and film it and if ppl dont see their feet or toes moving then there is the proof if its real or not its simple
Sam and Colby & Ghost Hunters fan here. Sam and Colby did make a whole hour long video trying to debunk it with Satori and Cody where they made them take their shoes off. They even bought new shoes and made them put those on instead, as well as trying the method in mystery locations to them all. They were just given coordinates to go to. The only thing that stopped the method from working was when Satori and Cody were wearing rubber gloves. Would fully recommend watching that video too. Just makes me believe in the integrity of the method even more.

@@kirarobbins96 my dude they only took their shoes off long enough to put new ones on, and the knocking was considerably more muffled afterwards because "they're fuzzy inside" as Colby stated. Then Satori had to press her shoe against Cody's to help make the knocking louder and to better feel the vibrations. They refused to keep their shoes off when at the dance studio.
Yeah really is as easy as that, just because people want to see this proof were labeled as attacking and mean. We're simply saying do your method without shoes and socks wearing shorts but that's being mean, but that's not being mean.
To be honest…..I don’t think they’d wanna do that just in general because let’s be real here, nobody really likes showing their bare feet online and being that there’s creepy people out there who have feet fetishes….I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why Cody and Satori won’t do it. Plus, let’s just say that they were moving their feet….we would’ve seen their feet moving. If you’re making popping sounds with your feet and you’re obviously moving your feet, anyone around you can see your feet moving even if it’s just a slight movement.
I remember Jason Hawes saying "Ghosts don't perfom on cue..." over and over again on Ghost Hunters. Well, but in the case of Cody and Satori they seem to do just that.
We understand where the controversy comes from given there are some out there truly faking it for views but also what is being overlooked is that Cody and Satori have built relationships with the resident spirits of the conjuring house and aren’t trying to get famous by doing what they do. They have been speaking with the spirits of that location for a while. There’s trust with them and with Abigail especially.
On queue and communication because you are asking for the communication are two different things.

Cody and Satori can quickly shut down all of the doubters with a couple tests.
1) Let’s see a close up of Cody’s bare foot. I saw his calf muscle flexing in sync with the knocks in a video where he was wearing shorts which is why I’m suspicious.
2)Have them wear noise canceling headphones
Very easy for them to do that if they aren’t lying

Have them both wear headphones. The purpose is that if Cody is making the sounds, then he wouldn't be able to time the knocks with the correct letters of the alphabet. They wouldn't be able to spell out anything. That would be the one test to get me to believe. @@annettelacey7913
Why is that hard to comprehend? The main theory is that he is joint popping, which would mean he would need to move some muscles. I'm not stating any facts, just trying to make sense of everything because this is a HUGE thing if it is real. As far as the headphones see my response to the other person. The main issue some of us dont believe cody and satori is because there is a video of cody doing the knocking method decades ago WITHOUT SATORI. But they told sam and colby during the conjuring vid that they discovered the knocking method when they held hands or whatever.
This is why we strongly believe their knocking method could be a lie too and tbh it could be easily faked, there are some methods you could recreate the knocking sounds just search it up lol. If they don't address those issues their credibility will always be rock bottom.

The knocking method is something we have used since we started back in 1990. Knock once for yes, twice for no, etc. The knocking they get it more profound, more on que and constant. He and many have and do it different, using alphabet, etc. The knocks with Cody and Satori or also more profound now and more on que.

@@JasonHawes I know it's been around for a long time, at least since the fox sisters to my knowledge. Based on their story when they 1st met there were loud banging, knocking etc. at that point why not just ask the spirits and do the knocking method. Instead they experimented on each other at the point of touching wrists/hands etc. I mean the spirits were alrdy going wild why not just straight up ask the questions through the method. Since you guys have been doing it all these years that should be the first thing that came into his mind right?
Pointing out small plot holes in their story is what I am interested in because tbh the knocking method can be easily debunked or exposed. That's why I'm hoping they would address these concerns and do some debunk methods others have suggested or adding some context in their stories.
I know others have been a real ass towards them but there is also ppl that just want to see a definitive proof because some of us want to believe. And if they do prove it to the whole internet then who knows, maybe the conjuring house will attract a large number of ppl and earn much more than saying to go there and see for ourselves.
Exactly, I was looking to see if anyone mentioned that about the conjuring place before I posted it and seemingly now those 2 kids dont believe these 2 either anymore and have said they wont work with them again.

There's a huge difference between controversy and being caught lying. Ankle clicking is a thing and cody loves showing his party trick. Using the conjuring house to set the mood is pathetic and then preying on people through their loved ones is out right disgusting. Jason man it goes both ways. Don't accuse people of being douche bags for seeing what looks like fraud and scamming. I understand Satori is your daughter but I also know Cody has a leaked video of him as a much much much younger guy doing the same trick with this tapping ALL by himself. Now remember the "energy link" him and your daughter described was needed (remember when they said that was needed in the conjuring video? Even going as far to say that people can get inbetween them but as long as they are linked the knocks will then work?) Little things like this make it look fraudulent. Now why is this action mean? When you play with someones emotions and mention deceased relatives names it's deceptive, lying, dishonest while mascarading as an act of sincerity. That is very much what a douche bag is. The guy Cody seems to be the main culprit here and who knows if hes even duping your daughter or that the two are in on this but it's wrong and deserves everybit of criticism it gets.
Not everything is paranormal and staging activity actually makes fun of the honest ones. I personally don't do attacks but I do get disgusted knowing that we are getting the disrespect cause these fake investigators make the honest look bad

99% of it is for tv especially the ones like Sam and Colby and others that have demon in titles Omar gosh etc etc are very fake but Jason doing ghost hunters and couple of the decent tv shows are great
@@StraightOuttaUrbexwith the exception of the first season or two of Ghost Hunters it wasn’t real. Remember when nothing was haunted and then all of a sudden everything was haunted. That was travel channel forcing them to make it more interesting. Don’t take my word for it. You can look it up. I also loved that show up until the prison episode where you can clearly tell it was someone in a cape running away.
@@StraightOuttaUrbex I went to a location they did called hells gate and the place isn’t haunted. No one has ever made claims like ghosthunters. The locals know nothing of what they claim. Iam a local of the area. Jason and grant misled their viewers

At first they did Vine with skits, and prank videos then they started exploring abandoned places and then their infamous Queen Mary video was what got them into doing ghost videos. Now yes they do these videos mainly for entertainment however….they also do it because they genuinely want answers, and they wanna show the world that regardless of what we all believe in….there is something more out there.
I don't get how people are making this seem like a complicated issue when it's really not.
Either they do the method barefooted on a live stream to prove it's legit.
And if they never do this then it's obvious they're scammers.
They claim they can do it on command so you can do it barefooted on a livestream easily.
The burden of proof falls on the people claiming something is the truth. It's up to them to prove the method is legit (in turn the afterlife). By the looks of it so far it looks like they're just trying to ride this out. So pretty obvious it's fake.
And I'm someone who for a few hrs until I came across posts of people doing the exact same trick I fully believed what they were doing and it was what pushed me from an open minded Skeptic to a full on believer.
NGL I'm now more skeptical then I was before as that series has made me question even more the proof Sam & Colby and in turn what everyone else gets. Especially when you keep in mind they have a on site producer which personally I've not seen them mention before and some of the figures moving that people spotted and freaked out over when you enhance it it's just Zach walking around.
We all know that even if they do what their asked people will still call them fakers. Will still bad mouth them. Up until seeing them on Sam and Colby's video I'd never heard of them before. It seems since they appeared on that channel they have blown up and for all the wrong reasons. They have been bombarded with hate and abuse.
I've been interested in the parnorml for years and the one constant I've seen and read are people complaining about proof. Photos and videos are too blury you cant see anything. Some one gets a decent video or photo it's labled a fake. People who don't believe will always lable any proof no matter how good (actually if it's good proof its worse) as fake. It's photo shopped it's this it's that.
It's gotten worse over the years due to the rise of youtube, people deliberatly creating fake content and claming it's real. Even when their caught in the act. People like that make it harder for legitimate proof as now no one believes anything no matter how good it is or how well tested it is.
To me it seems that the paranormal community has disolved into a groupof people who now only want to attck and denounce any proof.
Did you watch the video of Sam and Colby's which was done several months after their visit to the coungering house? Where they took them out into the middle of a park made them change their shoes into slippers and they still got the taps and knocks?
Sure I won't deny that if they did it showing their feet on a livestream and their toes ain't moving and there's still the sounds some/a few people will still argue it's fake.
BUT I think what you're ignoring, I've seen you copy and paste this comment on so many videos, is that while some will still argue it's fake the vast majority of people who are open to the paranormal will accept it. The majority of the people giving them the backlash are from the paranormal community. As people who aren't open to the possibility other then a few who base their time on actively debunking aren't giving them the backlash as they haven't even seen it and don't care about it. Again the backlash is coming from the paranormal community. Not the none believers who don't care to even give it the time of day/not seen it.
And yes I saw the video they did on their other channel, saw the first Conjuring video an HR after it was uploaded then went straight to the HR long video trying to debunk it.
It literally doesn't prove anything in regards to the toe popping argument.
Ignoring the fact they stated that they only found this out when they met and can only do it while touching when an old video of Cody doing the exact same method without her and touching no one had been unearthed.
There's now plenty of people doing the exact same method to show how it's fake.
First video I saw was by the tiktok user "saveusbarry" where it's literally the same sound and even the illusion of the sound moving around the room.
Another good example I'd the UA-cam video "Cody & Satori - Toe popping and microphone explained! (My feet exposed)" by Dead Oak Paranormal. If you just want to see the toe popping skip to 08:22 of that video.
Will say it doesn't sound 100% the same but very close but also keep in mind Cody has had years to practice and perfect his craft.
That channel has also done several videos showing how Cody is shifting his weight in the S&C videos as well as other signs.
IMO the biggest thing that gives the paranormal community the stigma it has/makes it harder to be taken seriously is stuff like what's happening with this Cody & Statori stuff.
Not even specially them faking it but the reaction.
The paranormal community is showing the world that they'll blindly follow a scam that realistically has been proven at this point to be a scam and lacks the ability of self awareness to be self critical and is acting like it's incapable of critical and independent thought.
I personally hope that when Sam & Colby do their video addressing this they highlight all of the key evidence and examples that have been provided to at least make their extremely large and passionate fan base realise that they've all been scammed and this becomes so big that even the none believers who don't know about this see it.
Why?
Because I hope it will be the moment of change within the community and show the world that the paranormal community has changed and is actually capable of critical thought and call out when something is clearly fake and that as a whole we DON'T blindly follow scammers like we used to/have been doing up till now.
What proof has been offered?
is it like the "That photo is to clear it must be a fake?" type of proof?

@@thebloodyenglish6620 I would love to know what you are considering proof that they are faking it? Explain how they make the sounds move around the room like they are walking in or out? Explain how they have knocks coming so fast that it sounds like they are excited? There is no one that can crack their anything that fast or throw the sound around like that. Everyone out there theorizing needs to make complete sense if they want to be believed. I am truly curious to know the facts "proof" that they are fake...
If Cody and Satori's method is what they claim it is, there shouldn't be problem to address or answer the following issues / answers:
Item 1: in Sam and Colby's debunking video, two critically important requests were made. A) The "ghost" was asked if Cody and Satori could remove their shoes. The "ghost", who had answered every single question so far, did NOT answer this question. Instead of knocking once for yes or twice for no, the "ghost" took time to spell the word "ASK" instead. I interpret it as "Ask something else, I can't answer this simple yes or no question". Don't you think it's suspicious? B) Another request was made for the "ghost" to play a game where Sam and Colby hold up a card and the "ghost" needs to say what it sees. The "ghost" got super mysterious and said "Can't show/tell too much" or something similar. As if there are some terms and conditions when it comes to knocking to humans. So far, there were no problems. Not very believable.
Item 2: There's an old video clip from 11 years ago of Cody doing this method by his own, without Satori. Why did they tell a story how they discovered this method just few years ago when they held each others hands? This sounds like a lie.
Item 3: Cody and Satori claim that they don't do this for money. Do any of their paid events feature this method?
Item 4: This method is supposedly be world changing. Would Cody and Satori be ready to prove it with the presence of scientists, un-biased observers and total strangers with requests to contact their dead loved ones? Would they do this method while Cody being blind folded and wearing sound cancelling headphones?
Item 5: If watched in slow motion, you can see how the knocks are sometimes off, yet the word gets spelled out correctly. How?
Item 6: You can see from different videos how the cameraman points the camera towards Cody's feet. Can you ask the "ghost" to knock on the ceiling or on the window instead etc?
This is not hate or negativity. These are honest questions and observations. The matter of dead loved ones shouldn't be taken lightly. It's a sensitive matter for many and that is why people have the right to question this. This world changing method comes with tons of responsibility, whether it's real or not. Remember, there is no actual proof that this world changing method is actually legit. Saying it is real, doesn't make it real. My opinion is, that if it was real, there wouldn't be this response video or any of those several debunking videos. It would have been proven a long time ago to avoid all of this stuff going on. This itself is a huge red flag. Address the above questions and I'll believe.
I would also like to point out that the debunkers have gotten heavily attacked by the believers, so the toxicity goes both ways.

Iteam 1A.) If you are a fan of ghost hunting or even the shows you know they can be talkative one time then the next not.
1B.) Ghosts get tired of answering questions just the same as you and me if to many questions were being asked or if they feel like a spectacle. They just want to be left alone to live in their after life
2.) Sam and Colby came out in a video and said that Cody and satori explained that as he could do it by himself but Satori amplifies it.
3.) They also talked to sam and colby and talked to them about the they dont do it for money comment.
4.) would you be willing to be swarmed by scientists or even Poked and prodded because you have this ability.
5.) if you listen to the video they go back and ask if its the letter or they slow down and start the alphabet over.
6.) In sam and Colbys video they keep the camera on their feet nothing indicates they are rigging it.
This is not a disrespectful response. You believe what you believe I'm not trying to change anyones minds but I'm giving the facts that make me believe they are the real deal.I can respond to everything you are saying with facts. If anyone wants to get both sides and decide for themselves then go watch Sam and Colbys video on the explanations.

What they have said or done in the past or what you think how the ghosts live don't cover these questions really, otherwise I would have not asked these. They even spelled the teacher's name (Facci / Ficca) incorrectly in the Globe park, lol.

He has been doing that 'knocking' thing for over a decade. There are videos of him doing that 'technique' on his own. That proves they are lying about them having the effects when they hold onto each other.
That is the big problem for a lot of people.

Hmmm, I’m guessing @dawnrowlands and many other people just can’t get over that with their ability whether Cody had a couple times where he to heard knocking which then started him to say the alphabet in which got answered in a response using that method. When Satori came into Cody’s life it had became much much more louder and a lot more clearer as to which a spirit who connects with them or someone around them comes through. We are batteries in the dimension we don’t understand and we water resources to our new who are energized by the cells in which are human body is made, that is for another conversation tho.. what Cody and Satori have is a true ability to understand what someone is trying to get across when a certain person comes around them. Stay staring Cody and Satori I am a true full believer of what youse do and it helped me so much with letting me kno as myself I am not crazy. Love y’all
@@ChizNuggZ I believe in the paranormal. I've had many strange experiences that I cannot explain. One of which happened a couple of weeks ago. Nevertheless, I am still very sceptical of those that claim to have these 'powers'. I've seen far too many using cold reading techniques or similar.

Personal attacks are awful but scamming people into believing they’re communicating with passed on family members? Thats below awful or mean or abusive… and frankly opens the scammers up to the personal attacks they are probably getting in retaliation. If someone faked my parents or brother speaking to me from beyond the grave they would receive far worse retaliation from me than harsh language or “personal attacks”

tbh the best way is ask if you can talk to a family member who cant be looked up in a quick google search, as in for example some relative who died in another country, or simple get a proper lie test

Even then you'll get people say they are fakes.
great example, "Why are all the photos of ghosts out of focus. Why can't you get better photos?"
Someone catches a great photo in focus the lot, same person demanding in focus photos will then say "It's a fake the images are too in focus."
No matter what proof people give people out there will never be happy. They will always want to destroy someone's reputation.

People for years have complained about ghjost photos being out o focus someone gets an in focus photo of a ghost those same people scream it's a fake. Those people are never happy unless they have something to complain and attack people for.
I find it funny how flat earthers get ridiculed for their beliefs no matter what evidence is given to them saying the photos are fake that the moon landing was fake. Yet people who constantly attack the paranormal field no matter the proof who constatnly claim every piece of good evidence is fake are let to carry on attacking people for their beliefs.
Respectfully, it's hard to have sympathy or respect for ANYONE who perpetrates the type of fraud that Satori and Cody do. They are using their grift to manipulate people's emotions which is not cool. If it were just a fake haunting that'd be one thing. But pretending that a deceased loved one is communicating in real time with a friend or family member is just terrible. I believe in the paranormal and I respect the work that goes into legitimately researching and investigating the unknown, but the level of fraud that Satori and Cody are perpetrating is shameful. They know it, we know it and I'm pretty sure you know it too. The best they can do is come clean and clear their conscience, even if for nothing else than getting their karma back on track. And who knows, maybe part of their repentance could be finding a new direction within the study of the paranormal. Everyone loves a good comeback story and they need to find a way to make sincere amends that could and should put them in a better light... and maybe even inspire other paranormal fraudsters to switch up and try and make a positive difference instead of reinforcing the "bullshit for clicks" mentality that is so pervasive in this field. I agree. When you look at it, people believe they are taking advantage of others in vulnerable places, that’s going to get nasty language thrown at them. There’s a reason debunk channels just laugh at fakers at haunted locations but look at Cody and Satori in disgust, it’s because they are taking advantage of people while other channels are just acting like a demon is mad at them. Many of us have lost someone close and wish to have one last chance to say goodbye and know they are okay and to think of someone preying on that is despicable. They either need to prove it or come clean and if neither of those options are good for them then just stop the grift altogether.

Im not a sceptic about the paranormal world. I've had many experiences myself from being a child. But I'm sorry, i just can't believe Cody after the video of him is circulating around from 11 years ago doing the exact same thing without satori. I believed him at first after watching Sam and Colby but i just can't now. I would love to see him been debunked maybe with his feet elevated & not using the power of suggestion method . As a ghost hunter, myself, I just want to point something out:
RARELY has there been a hunter who hasn’t asked spirits to, “Knock once for yes, two for no.” Or tried to see if a spirit can spell something out, using the knocking method. This is NOT something new!
Both Cody AND Satori have talked about doing this, in the past.
However, when they found each other, that’s when the messages came quicker, louder, clearer.
I’ve been hunting for 40 years, and one of the things that we hunters know, is that in order to have strong communication (for instance, using the Ouija board, which I do NOT recommend), there has to be a ‘conductor’ and ‘transmitter’. It’s basically the same principle as radio frequencies. One person is the conductor, and one person is the transmitter.
But the catch? We rarely know which one is which. It’s hit or miss.
In the older video, in which Cody was by himself, the messages took a long time to come thru.
But when Cody and Satori are together… it’s a different story.
The fact that Cody used the method previously, and people are using THAT as a way to ‘debunk’ their abilities, is laughable.
It’s a video of a technique we’ve all used!
The ONLY way to debunk their ability, is to do it in person: no shoes, no prior knowledge of the person they’re reading, and no knowledge of the location… by a third party with no skin in the game.
If, and when this happens, we can NOT say it’s been debunked.
Plus, the people who have witnessed this phenomenon, have all said that the knocks aren’t stationary. They move around the room.
If you’ve never heard footsteps from disembodied spirits, you can’t possibly understand. They don’t walk in one spot. They move! It’s unsettling. (I’ve lived with it… and still do.)
The Fox Sisters were known to crack toes… under long skirts, with their legs under tables, and without shoes. That’s because the cushion in their shoes would muffle the sound. Plus, the movement of their toes cracking, and the movement of their leg muscles-even though it was slight-was still visible. They were very careful not to be seen.
It was only when they were offered $1500-which was a great deal of money in the early 1800s-did they come clean.
Cody and Satori never attempted to hide their feet and legs, changed shoes when asked, AND their location.
Plus, they don’t charge people for messages. They aren’t trying to pull the wool over people’s eyes, just to make money from them.
If they charged people for messages, then I’d understand the motive.
But they’ve been doing this for YEARS, and only recently agreed to show the world.

Plus, if they had something to hide, they would’ve never agreed to ANY of Sam and Colby’s investigations.
And even though I won’t deny that more ‘debunking’ can be had, what we’ve seen, so far, does NOT negate what they can do.

We had our house blessed by our local church & medium because my mother would hear the same thing unbeknownst to me at the time. I've had many experiences from being a child, such as dark shadow in my bedroom doorway, my little brother saw it too on a different night, I'd be here all night explaining what I've personally experienced. But I would like to see Cody doing his method with shoes & socks off with his feet elevated, blind folded with headphones, and then I'll believe 😁 edit: also like to add my house we currently live in is haunted we have lived here 15 years & for the first 2 years we had none stop paranormal activity. Years later, we found out the old man who lived here before us died in our bedroom. My husband was a sceptic until he experienced things for himself. TVs, radios & computers would turn on in the early hours but it never felt malevolent so we just ignored it . Occasionally, not me, but my husband will feel someone sitting on the edge of the bed or gets tapped on his shoulder. Only last week in our kitchen, he was poked in his back. He was all alone too. I don't expect anyone to believe me because these are my own personal experiences

@@emilymarek4714 except this isn't their first time showing the world, they've done this on television and other youtubers channels that i found as far back as 4 years ago, it's just the first time they've garnered attention from a much larger popular audience. there is also more knowledgeable claims that back up the debunk theory with their contradictions alone. the video of cody doing it 11 years ago isn't as significant but defiantly contradicted their claim as only just discovering this method, why not mention cody has always done this prior? cody is also seen on camera multiple times moving his foot inside the shoe that coincide with the knock noises. sound in general is extremely difficult to pinpoint as this has been challenging for even the military as they spend millions on programs to aid in sound origin. power of suggestion is also a real thing as far as saying the sound is here nor there, sam also states in the series the noise is always predominantly near cody. and why not empty the pockets or take off your socks? if they claim being grounded is a way for them to conduct energy wouldn't that be more helpful? dustin dean mentalist on youtube and tiktok, he said he would drive to the conjuring house himself offer them 10k to see this method done in front of him under his conditions, he's a world renown mentalist and magician and also debunks fake psychics. he posted a youtube the other day explaining in detail and also demonstrating how he thinks they're faking it.
Your love for Satori is admirable, but she's a fraud alongside the leg popper. Film a proper show of ability with bare legs viable and obtain detailed responses from 'spirits' and not generic names you can Google and BS' we're fine and love you' messages.

I tend to agree. I wouldn't go so far as to call them scammers, but from all the evidence I've seen, they're certainly faking it (and in some cases quite badly). What I hate the most is the position it puts others in having to "defend" them. The problem is that the more they perform these readings, the harder it becomes to come clean. The best they can hope for is for people to forget or move on. If they keep their heads low long enough, it'll happen. I doubt we'll be seeing any more readings on UA-cam at all, and it'd surprise me if we hear of them continuing to do them offline either.

I personally think Cody is faking it, but neither he or Satori deserve to have death threats or to be bullied so viciously. I've seen some pretty hateful comments towards them and it's really unacceptable. I do believe that he should just do the thing with his shoes off. If he did that one simple thing and his toes don't move, then it would squash all of the drama. If his toes do move, or if there are no knocking sounds, then he should apologize for duping people. That's it. While I highly suspect he's popping his toes (my son can do that with his toes and it does sound like knocks), it makes me sick to see people viciously attack him and Satori. There are videos (Mythos Paranormal in particular) that slow down, zoom in, and showcase that Cody is shifting and popping the tending over his ankle in his right leg every time a knock occurs.
You're a skeptic, sir. I grew up watching TAPS and you inspired me to be a firm skeptic and to learn more about what could be causing an unknown spooky occurrence first to rule out everything before assuming the paranormal. That was the beauty of Ghost Hunters.
Satori is aiding her boyfriend Cody in faking communication with spirits, just like the Fox Sisters. They take money from people as part of their paychecks at the Conjuring House, get enough personal information from forms that have to be filled out to go there, and have ghosts regurgitate easily googled information back to them like a human Ouija board. And Just like with a Ouija board, someone's moving the metaphorical planchette.
You can't tell me you don't know that they way sound bounces off in a room can make knocking from one place sound like it's moving around, especially with the power of suggestion and confirmation bias being pushed along by Satori and Cody. Vibrations tend to be felt the most when investigators are closest to their feet. They could easily be using a solanoid, as well.
There's more rational, logical explanations pointing toward the two of them faking this phenomenon than to simply believe they are in fact in touch with spirits. They refused to try the method without shoes when they had the chance, claiming the spirits would only do it "for those who believe" which you have to know is a crock.
Props to defending your daughter, I understand that, but if a family member of mine were lying to people about communicating with their dead loved ones for a paycheck, I would not defend that. Especially if my reputation revolved around debunking hoaxes and investigating the paranormal.

I think the attacks at Satori and Cody was that they collab with Sam and Coby. A lot of us in the paranormal have called those two out for faking evidence. Many of those large paranormal UA-cam channels does that just for views. I think we need to address that problem, but be more civil about this. It is hard to teach the non-believers that ghosts are real when you have a small minority of these people faking evidence. Jenny Love TV, PDX Paranormal, Parasolo, Waht? The Paranormal, Professional Paranormal Researchers, etc are some smaller legit paranormal channels that don't staged their evidence. They are more tasteful and respect the dead, even if their content is boring. They cover the same places with the exact opposite results. And they debunk all their findings as well.

First let me say this: ENORMOUS fan of YOU and you taught everyone to "first look for non paranormal explanations" and "when in doubt throw the footage out". As for your daughter and cody... they self sabotaged themselves, especially cody. And despite all that with the joint popping producing exactly the same sound.... it needs to be brought back to what you always have said " when in doubt throw it out".
The reason why people that do this faking ( yes one can venture into the realm of scamming.. vis a vis the "we can talk to your DEAD loved ones") get a lot of hate. No one likes being lied to and if people can find all info out on the internet or in archives ( both of which are very easy) then again "when in doubt throw it out". Despite all of that the reactions wouldnt be as vitriolic, despite the contradictions in both individuals stories, if they didnt claim to be "talking to DEAD loved ones". Add to that the financial incentive ( you want to go to the conjuring house you have to pay a crapton of money and then there is the fact that cody and satori are "staff" meaning paid... no one works for free and "getting paid" can be in different forms) and people really lose it. You know how you felt when you took days off work to investigate a "serious haunting" but then discovered the whole house was rigged as a spookey funhouse ( was a ghost hunters episode with TAPS).
Now am i taking a potshot at your daughter and cody trying to make a bank? no i am not. I am taking a couple skeptic shots at them for their inconsistencies and to be predatory practices. Claiming to be talking to dead loved ones opens up one of the most deep and hurtful wounds ( other than actually losing your wife and kids.. which i do not wish on my worst enemy because i went through something similar, it changes you worse than if its grandparents)
Here are some of the skeptics issues:
1. Claim that they found this method out by themselves. No there is footage of cody doing it 11 years ago and the same method have been done in the past.
2. claim that they are speaking to "dead loved ones". No one knows WHAT paranormal investigators are talking to. "ghosts" can be actually demons or interdimentional beings or because the veil is thinner in certain places communication with other dimensions is possible and that is what we are witnessing. This also opens up a HUUUGE can of worms AND opens them up to the most vitriolic attacks possible... which on the one hand i can understand. You were ready to leave too when you found out that one family or whatever rigged their house to be a spookey funhouse to bamboozle investigators.
3. Claim they do not do research on the people that book their date in. Yeah no one believes them about that and its quite easy to google everything about a person. Will you get all the information? no but if you dig down long enough, with all the third party contracts in media devices you can find out a crapton about people.
4. Claim they do not get anything financially out of this. BLATENT issue right there. 1400 $ for a conjuring house ( where they are staff), even chip coffey the medium gets paid and he makes no qualms about it, then there are followers, views and we all know how money is made online and with sites right.....
5. Claim that "they do not want their feet pictures out there" while a simple instagram search will have both peoples feet plastered all over it.
Yes people need to be less vitriolic in their dealings but have you looked around, people are less friendly in general and on top of that there is the claims of " we can talk to dead loved ones " and "we do not get financial stuff out of this" while they actually do. However that is a two way street. IF one gets attacked being a condescending tone towards the skeptics as a whole is also not going to do any good and invites more attacks because NO ONE likes a smartass with glib answers. BE honest and people will take it into account. Chip coffey goes " yeah i get paid for my readings, you get paid too for you work so what is the problem" boom critics shut down.

As an open-minded sceptic that really likes the idea of an afterlife, I just really hope for the sake of the field that there isn't any scamming going on. There is a very simple rule, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. To expect evidence of this very dubious claim is not being a "hater", We haven't been given that, asking them to operate with thier shoes off and then to say what cards are being held up by the person asking the question isnt a lot to ask here. Lacking that evidence we have to go off what we have, the signs of body language, statement analysis and even just looking closely at body movement (particularly the leg area and the associated attempts at distraction) the videos indicate serious problems here. There are a legion of less subtle problems here, for example: I would never think the ghost of a Teacher who died in 2007 woudl misspell her own the exact way it is typoed on the first 3 webhits you get.
So go on and name call some more I suppose, it doesnt get rid of the problem and I have been called far worse.

Jason, I've been a TAPS Family member for over 20 years and we done hundreds of cases. You and I have both have experienced some crazy shit over the years that others can only watch. Some of the paranormal shows are "for entertainment purposes only" and we all accept that as part of the deal. I hope the kids don't let the haters win. Cheers brother.

Just the fact that if this is true; that they can do this (communicate directly with the dead) with this much accuracy, consistency, and precision, making this arguably the most significant scientific discovery of all time and they aren't even willing to participate in rudimentary debunking like having fully exposed feet/legs while doing it makes believing them almost impossible if you have any amount of critical thinking skills at all. There is 100% and excuse for the toxicity as they have yet to prove their power beyond and reasonable doubt - which they 100% NEED to do, all evidence is against them at this point and if that evidence is true then it seems they are pretending to have this power, which they are using people's dead loved ones to play with emotions, which is WAY more toxic than any hate comment they have received or will ever receive.

I think a lot of the attacking is due to anger caused by the perception that Cody and Satori took advantage of people's emotions and thoughts through purposeful deceit. For example, Sam crying regarding his grandmother in the Conjuring house.
Then there's crowd 2 where people are so convinced Cody & Satori are fraudulent that they do not want to even have a conversation.

I am a parent and I totally understand you coming out and defending your child, any decent parent would. I think it's fair for people to speculate on how they are doing this, but I agree attacking them personally is disgusting; Ad Hominem fallacy.
However, It doesn't help that they lied by saying that they found out they could do this when they were working together and if they held wrists then the knocking can be heard, and they can then communicate with spirit. Then a video from 11 years ago surfaces of Cody doing this on his own. It makes people doubt them. Even saying they don't do it for money when they have a website where they sell tickets to shows and merch. So they do in fact do this for money, and getting on a massive channel like Sam and Colby will push more people towards the website.
TBH, it isn't hard for Satori and Cody to stop the people saying they are faking this. They could prove everyone wrong and then everyone who has said they are faking it would have to eat their words. 🤷♀

Cody's own words were that they do it for people who they come accross and don't do it or money (Not verbatim) They do shows where they do this for money, so it's a lie. If there is some nuance to his statement, then I'm missing it, or he isn't explaining it very clearly, or maybe he is dilibertly misleading people. The onus is on him to be transparent in his words. People can only go on what he said, and he clearly said they don't do it for money.

They work for the conjuring house, they do shows, and the only people they would "come across naturally" to do this for would be people paying to go to the conjuring house to do it. Perhaps they do randomly help folks on the street who recognize them and ask for a session, but we only have his word on that, no evidence otherwise. Sam and Colby and their team had to pay to stay at the Conjuring house and interact with Satori and Cody--so all of their filmed sessions for that series was definitely not for free.

There is one thing that needs to be said here. It is that you have to be careful who you collab with. We have some very large UA-camrs on here who staged a lot of their evidence and all that. Sam and Coby is one of them. From what I understand. A lot of the haunted places are banning paranormal investigators now because of a lot of bad deeds including damaging property. A lot of us that are in the paranormal community for the past couple of years been calling out people like Sam and Coby who staged fake evidence that makes the whole paranormal community look bad. We already had several paranormal UA-camrs came out making a confession that they faked a lot of their evidence. The controversy is not with Satori and Cody, but with Sam and Coby, The Paranormal Twins, Paranormal Files, OmarGoshTV, CJ Faison, Moe Sargi, Jasko and others. Sorry if you are going through all of this, but it does not help the field out when you have a lot of the bigger UA-cam channels faking evidence just to get views.
No, the problem is that we see Cody flexing. We know that the paranormal entities do not ALL use knocking as a means of communication, we know that sound is not coming from anywhere but from them. However, it would be wonderful if they would meet with an honest debunker who would tell the truth if they were right or wrong. If he has no problem with truth, then there are debunkers who would happy to be wrong. I suggest they contact a real debunker, go someplace they have been successful, and prove the world wrong.
@@SparkyTuttle I am from the debunker myself and I am friends with The Shape and I am mod for Lost Souls Paranormal, Jenny Love TV, Jared King, PDX Paranormal, etc. The Paranormal ones that I listed as mods that I am friends with as will. The issue that a lot of us is that these people do not do their own debunking. I would call an animal control officer out there to check to make sure the knocking was not caused by an animal in the walls. Several of the old buildings that is haunted actually found dead animals died inside the walls as they found a way to crawl in there. That is one of the ways to debunk the knocking.

I grew up watching your series on TV. my father and I spent countless hours watching them. Even if we did not believe it we loved watching it and made plenty of great memories together! People are so mean on the internet but you have to remember for every mean comment there is a person like me that does not always leave a comment! I am grateful for the memories I made with my estranged father through you. Now I can watch Satori, your daughter, and continue on the shared memories with my kids. I think your daughter is faking the technic. When asked by Dakota of Project Fear if she would do it without shoes or socks on camera, she declined, stating she didn't want to show her feet. She agreed to do off camera in a "controlled environment" but then stated more than once, "It's up to the spirits" as an excuse when nothing happens. Secondly, I watched the live episode when Grant's jacket was supposedly pulled. That was clearly faked, painfully faked. We all reacted immediately how bad that was done. I personally feel you were all in on it. Live show, and you needed something. Don't think anything would ever happen without you all being in agreement. Your position walking just behind Grant on his right side and blocking his right hand raises flags. Think it was planned but poorly executed. One other time, red flags hit was a later episode where you were up in a very cramped and packed attic. You were moving in between a row of boxes. There was a loud sound of a box falling or moving behind you. You react surprisingly. However, it is clear that your leg is extended back, and your body moves as your leg is extended back. Looks hard like you kicked your leg back and hit the box. That is when I gave up on your show. All the ghost hunting shows start to fake shit sooner or later. No show is immune. No ghosts, no viewers. Also, I always thought you guys treated Brian terribly. That guy took a lot of undeserved abuse. If you want complete control of your show, put it on UA-cam like Project Fear did. Gives you 100% control.
When I first saw them, I was amazed. I was nearly in tears. It gave me hope.
Then I saw the extra footage where they refused to stand barefoot and show the world they aren't just cracking their toes.
Why did it suddenly fail when they tried to use the Zenner cards held in such a way that a ghost could see them but Cody and Satori couldn't?
I didn't see a video of someone personally attacking (but to be fair I wasn't looking for it either), but trying to just debunk their method. Debunk, something I learned from watching your show all those years ago.
The absolute crash of my hope after realizing what was possibly going on was harder than what the previous hope had given me.

Ghost hunters was huge when it first came out… Jason and the crew debunking potential hauntings was what made a lot of people take them seriously.
Later on, when the show got bigger and ratings became more important, some things changed, but considering how much they had seemed honest prior to that, most folks are willing to give them a chance to explain.

I have personally witnessed firsthand, being in the very same room, Satori and Cody using this technique. I am skeptical as well as open-minded. I saw no signs of fraud. In fact, the noises/knocks were emanating from other parts of the room in front of several witnesses. I have no explanation on how this happens, but I can confirm that it definitely wasn't popping joints.
It's popping tendons. It's an old parlor trick and everyone knows it. C&S are canceled. If there are ghosts, they don't perform parlor tricks, lol. Even Jason has said that. And if ghosts did do that, it wouldn't be with *ONLY* C&S. They aren't special. Cody was busted doing it many years ago and Satori was caught barefoot in a video years ago so her LAME excuse about not wanting to remove her shoes bcz she doesn't want to feed any "foot fetishists" is absolutely ridiculous! They wouldn't hesitate even ONE SECOND to prove it if what they were doing is real. But they give excuses and say they want to "think about it". Yeah, they want to think of a way to trick viewers barefoot! They're just too young to recognize how silly their little trick looks to viewers, esp people who are older and more seasoned in life, with more critical thinking skills. They have no clue how foolish they look. Dakota and Chelsea were darn sure pissed off once they learned they'd been scammed. Making people hurt and cry is unforgivable, esp when they are doing it for profit, which they've denied but it's right there on their website!

I personally believe what Satori and Cody have done is help connect the mass of people to spiritual power, and darkness doesn't like that so it fights back unfortunately. It is a big bummer they've had to experience such hate, my heart hurts for them. They should be embraced with love.
There's tons of constructive criticism, but no effort from their side to debunk any of the allegations. Just saying it's real doesn't make it real. We have zero proof that it's real.

Satori and Cody's controversy reflects like the early days of Ghost Hunters vs Ghost Adventures. Ghost Hunters debunked and didn't use orbs, Ghost Adventures was feelings and things flying through the air.
I 100% agree with you Jason. It's so hard to convey on camera what is experienced in the moment. There are too many couch critics out there that would crap their pants if they actually went on an investigation.

I manage Malvern Manor in Iowa and was fortunate enough to meet Satori and Cody one afternoon. They were two of the sweetest and most genuine people I’ve ever met.
I mentioned this in comments on Sam and Colby Conjuring video. Where people were calling bs. It's my opinion that its very very unlikely that Jason Hawes daughter would be there to fake something.. Sam and Colby may have been faking the whole thing (idk). But Satori and Cody? I don't think so. They're genuine people from a genuine family. Who happen to have a proven track record for being honest.
