Great videos Anthony, and great collection. Based on images from statueforum this piece didn't turn out, especially the head sculpts. I'd like to see some more critical analysis, it's easy to be excited about new arrivals but if everything is awesome then nothing is.
I always take a positive view on things an try not to be as critical to be honest. Only criticism I have on this piece is the various head sculpts are to similar parts from the screaming portrait. Otherwise I actually love it. Pose / paint / presence / size / weight is all great to me. Idk I am just more positive than negative.
Turned out great for me, is the likeness 100%? nope, I would say around 90%, and that is good enough for me, I didnt buy this just for a spot on likeness, I wanted an amazing OVERALL statue, and I definitely got that, this is a work of art.
True that would be amazing to see. Not sure we would get them though, or it will be a long way off. Very slow with a few ahead of them already to be made
Yes unlikely. I'd just like to see a line with Easterlings, Haradrim, Mordor Orcs, Moria Orcs and Elven Warriors with 3 figures per statue in fighting stances. Not really practical for size/cost but would be great to see for the detail/design.
Mine arrived last week. It's fantastic. As you said, it's much more impressive in-person. Unfortunately, mine arrived with some unpainted areas on the base. I've contacted Prime 1 but they say there is a backlog, so I will have to wait.
Hi mate, congratulations on getting him, great piece! Yes much better in person hey. Shame about the paint, yes I’m sure they can fix it up though might be slow. Unpainted areas is a concern? That’s bad QC. Hope it gets sorted man.
@@anthonyv They have agreed to replace the base, but they said it might take some time to "locate" a new one. I assume what happens is they wait until someone returns one with a faulty Aragorn, and give me that base instead. They want me to destroy the old one though.
That definitely is a great statue. Nice review. Thanks. Question, ok Aragorn is 1/4 size, is Lurtz 1/4 size too? If so, Lurtz should be a tad bigger than Aragorn but seems Lurtz is smaller than Aragorn looking at them side by side there.
Thanks Alfred, yes lurtz is 1/4 as well, though Aragorn is slightly elevated on the base along with lurtz leaning back on his back leg takes height from him. So both these small differences make him look a fair bit shorted, they are actually about the same if they were like for like. Hope that helps.
Lurtz is slightly on his back leg an not full stance. Aragorn is full upright and slightly elevated. He defiantly appears taller but they are about same size if like for like
Amazing pieces, pretty upgraded I can't wait to see your LOTR collection complete.
Thanks mate. I’m looking forward to more pieces from p1 with Lotr. I’ll buy all of them haha

Thanks for the video. Given how good the 3 Oathbreakers look, it would be great to see them in full as their own statue.

Fantastic collection 🙌👊🙌
Love it..this is a line I would love to collect..thanks for the video.
I hope you do, it’s shaping up very nicely and I think a well displayed set up with all of them together will be something special to see. One day..
It's perfect in your collection !!
Thank you man appreciate that.

the swords are made from metal?
I don’t think so, but they are very well done to the point that I can’t tell properaly if they are or arnt lol
filming in natural light would help alot.
Deffinatly agree, the lighting I have isn’t the best. I can’t figure out how to turn the phone light off either with video.
I agree though Soz mate

Do you know: Was this (and other similarly-sized statues) sculpted digitally or traditionally? Thanks!
I don’t know for sure but I do think digitally sculpted I have seen on p1 UA-cam updates.
Thé HS not my favorite but nice base so gréât !!!
Surely Aragorn cannot be taller than Lurtz? Is the scale right here? I mean only the body!
Lurtz is slightly on his back leg an not full stance.
Aragorn is full upright and slightly elevated. He defiantly appears taller but they are about same size if like for like
@@anthonyv ok that's good to know,thanks
Face looks weird. Maybe 50% likness... the rest looks amazing!
I’m person it really Does look much better, on camera it looks terrible I agree.
Rest of statue is so damn good! Stands out heaps
