- The opening riff is one of my absolute favorites to play live. I was living in a house in Tacoma with @bubblegutz in the late 90s when I actually heard the riff in my head before I had played it. That rarely happens to me but in a burst of inspiration I ran downstairs to the basement where we practiced and figured out how to actually play it. I gotta say 3/4 time is my least favorite time signature because the feel is usually really lame, but Tim’s drumming and the tempo of the song easily made this one of my favorites to play live.
Many bands have tuned their guitar down. Few have been brave enough to do it mid-song.
she liked this song and became a 20 year keeper
Man … this one in particular... Feels like it covers so much ground, super dynamic while basically rooted in one chord with a three note walk up.
I run to BOTCH a lot, and have seriously given thought to doing an essay on this song. It just flows so perfectly.
First Botch song i learned to play. Such a fun jam
oh man - every tab I have found of this song makes it a million times harder than it actually is - FINALLY I can play it right!
Still terrifying.
if exists math-core might be further-math-core. And this it is. Great!
"Woah..."
Пушка! Гонка! Пуля!
How does the song Hives age with your tastes? It's been my favorite song for ever.
