You're right on the "futuristic look" with the curved displays, BUT once you put it in a case it loses that instantly, worse if it is one like the one you showed, it looks ugly as hell (of course it's my opinion just as much as your opinion about having a flat display being a "regression"). People will inevitably put a case on for protection, so, to me, having a curve display is definitely more for looks than practicality. Lastly, about the spen sliding to the sides, you asked "Being real" how many times does that happens?, well, to me it happens a LOT specially when using the navigation gestures, so again, you're entitled to your opinion, but calling it a regression? Nope
