- Empire Dragway in Leicester, NY about 45minutes South of Rochester, hosted their 7th Annual Gold Cup Nostalgia Drag races July 21-23. My favorite cars are the short wheel-based gassers: Anglias, Prefects, Thames, and Austins along with the American made Willys, Chevys and Fords of the 50s and 60s. Enjoy the sights and sounds from Saturday when I was trackside and up close to the cars.
