Rock Reacts Since you talking about J Cole progression, you should do “Can’t Get Enough ft Trey Songz” and listen to pretty little fears right after to really grasp his journey, he goes from a new hot cocky artist to a wise elder in the rap game.
my biggest problem with Rage Against the Machine covers is that no one is able to capture the passion and rage behind Zach de la Roachas voice. Like you said, anybody can cover a Rage Against the Machine song, but not a lot of people can keep the same energy that Zach does. which is why I think that this is the best Rage Against the Machine cover out there. Denzel just has that energy and rage and passion. It also helps that Denzel already has an aggressive, grimy voice, and the original song is borderline Hip Hop. I would even go so far as to say that this version is more metal than the original. I fucking love it. Great video guys.
That statement that anybody can sing this song...i couldn't disagree more.....anyone who has tryed to rap over a RATM song should no that's no joke to replicate Zacks flow and energy, who have to rap while at the same time screaming your ass out of your lungs...and belive me when you try to keep the flow while growling like that is absolutely no joke. He does a really REALLY good rendition of this song IMO
Ignacio Millapani he meant anyone could rap on it and it would still be good because of the band but Denzel makes it amazing unlike those awful covers because he actually captures the passion and energy like the original
Not more metal than rage please, that’s spitting in Tom Morellos face and I’d fight you for saying that. A cover of a ratm song with someone on a keyboard more metal than Rage Against the fucking Machine. Kids these days...

The point of "Like A Version" is that the artist performs one of their songs, and then they choose a song they love to cover. There are many great performances on there.

Denzel knows how to scream. I know that seems like a pretty basic skill, most people know how to scream, but you can really tell he’s put the work into the craft. Sometimes you can feel in shitty derivative metal or punk or whatever when the singer is just going for maximum volume and you can almost feel their vocal chords ripping. Not Denzel. He knows how to *really* scream. That’s about as powerful as you can get without straining your voice.

I'm 99.99% sure the keyboardist is there to hold the effects of the guitar so that they shine through more. If you listen to the guitarist on the "wah-wah" parts, the sound isn't 100% on point... I think it's partly that (at the beginning on the wah part, you can see him running his right hand back and forth, I wonder if he is controlling the pitch / modulation on the guitar?) and I think he may be doubling the bass part, the riff is very deep and fuzzy and it sounds to me like it may have 2 instruments in the same octave, with the guitar over the top.

Never clicked on a video faster
Denzel should never stop doing rap. He can do both rap and rock.
9:30 watching Jon become more and more impressed over the video until he loses it at this point is so entertaining hahah
I know I'll be coming back to watch this video a lot, always great to see music resonate with people
id never heard of this dude before this cover. I thought he was in a rock band. Not until I saw a reaction video that they mentioned it in did the thought even come across that he was a rapper
9:32 Jon genuinely upset over how good that rap verse was
Ohhh myyy gooooosh!!!! What voice and performance. Fuck amazing!!. Woww..
I‘m so glad that I got to meet Denzel, he‘s such a genuine and talented guy. Extremely hyped for the next album :)
The guy on the left looks exactly like the guy from all the brazzer videos(Johnny sins)😂😂
Denzel is literally just pure energy
I shared this with my brother, He responded, " I didn't think that was coverable, but yes. He did it. And better."
React to harts. The guitarist on this track. Hes an aussie multi instrumentalist and singer. He was co-signed and worked with prince before he passed. His music deserves alot more props than it gets
I stumbled across you guys a few months ago while as I was waiting at the airport for a flight to my grandfather's funeral. This channel picked me up then, and I'm so glad we got to see your reactions, and how happy you were listening to arguably the best 'Like A Version' cover done here in Australia! Keep it up lads, you fucking rock!
THANK YOU
This popped up randomly in my recommendations and i havent watched anything with simon miller in it in close to a year. I love that guy!
Made my day!! Happy Anniversary Homies!!! Heres to another year of being the best!!
I cringed when they paused it when he first said “bulls on parade”
I fucking lost it Imao I wanted to slap brit Johnny sins
Best cover I've ever heard, he's so talented 🤩
Love how Jon recognised the Sirens verse. As a huge Denzel mark and a huge fan of both of you, was so happy to have you notice it
Thank you!
I love this union of hip hop and metal being established. The two artforms have so much in common. I'm an old hip hop head and was completely sold the first time I listened to metal nearly a year ago.
Hey could you do some dEnZeL cUrRy?!?!
Man I heard this live at work and I've never had goosebumps so hard in my life when he screamed bulls on parade
