    Hi, I am using MAG520 the issue I am having is when I switch network to mobile hotspots I get a error saying " E32 Your STB is not compatible with this portal " I think it thinks that I am making 2 separate connections with two different IPs hence I always need to contact the service provider to reboot me from their end.
    No idea what's wrong with it. Any thoughts or workaround would be greatly appreciated.

      There is 2 thing you can try. Try this one first that's on the video, but make sure you take down your portal URL or take a picture of it. And disable the auto update.

    What do I put as the server url and others to get TV channels? My TV doesn't recognize the box (tried on 2 different TV's) and I have to factory reset it so it'll hopefully fix the issue. I also get a red light, which is not good.

    What does rebooting do? I'm having trouble with my 322w1 MAG BOX. Freezing up, skipping, do you think rebooting helps this.

    Hi Jason....I have a mag254 that reboots every day on it's own. My provider says it shouldn't happen and thought could be their servers since I have a lot of freezing and looping every so often also.
    Why did you disable the autoupdate? I see mine is enabled. Could that be my problem? I am sking before I do the reset in case as I am not techy and afraid I break it. 😫

      Hi. I have autoupdate turned off because informir sent an update to block some servers. Your box rebooting could be a couple of this. Did you try factory resetting your box? I would start there first. ua-cam.com/video/NlYVKn_2BAg/v-deo.html

      @@JasonTech Thank you...I found that specific video after I msged u on here and saved it. I didn't do the factory reset yet coz I wanted to check about the autoupdate before proceeding. I will do it tomorrow once I sum up the courage coz I'm not techy and nervous about it. Wish me luck!!

      Just don't forget to take down the server portal BEFORE factory resetting your box. If you run into any problems (you won't) just let me know.

    Hello Jason! Listen how's the situation.
    I got a free iptv test from a provider and I used his Portal. After that, because I didn't like the Portal I decided to return back to my previous provider.
    I don't know how and why, but although am changing the Portal on my mag 420 settings, that stupid portal is there on the place of my current provider.
    So I followed your instructions for a factory reset but that useless portal is on its place again replacing my current provider and because of that the channels cannot Play! What can I do?

      Hi. First thing do you have your old URL?
      You shouldn’t have to to a factory reset unless you made other changes. With the mag420 to do a factory reset unplug the box from the back.
      Hold down the menu button and don’t let go and plug the power it back in. You will get the main menu with the factory reset option.

    Hi Jason. I used to have a some settings which let the program run continuously episode by episode. Byt now once the episode is finished it goes back to the main screen. Can you help with that setting? Thanks

      And I have one more issue. I cannot turn on my box with remote. When I click on the red power button to on only the blue power button blinks and it never starts so I have to take my plug off and then plug on then it reboots and open. How can I fix that? Thanks

      I have never ran into that problem. Do you have another remote to see if it does the same thing? Do you get a new TV by chance?

      @@JasonTech yes, ive entered my providers detals, i press restart portal, it says the word "loading" and what usualy happened was a small loading bar would appear, then load really fast, then id be on my menu with my channels, but now that bar doesnt appear and it goes to black and stays like that. thanks for getting back to me

    Hi mag 420 says firmware , I've spoke to my friend that runs the service and he is baffled and yes my Mac address is on there correctly, only suggestion he had was to get some custom firmware? Any ideas would be great 👍

      I see that also MAG 420 have this firmware issue I have MAG 424W3 and it seems that Infomir screwed up with their firmware update I'm not able to see my own M3U8 Link!

    Question a Mag that says Your STB is blocked call the provider and the subscription is expired how to renew if one doesn't have the email account because it was purchased from someone else?

      @@JasonTech umm, so this (I think) is happening to my box as well. I did the reset in the video and everytime the box powers up now I get no infomir spashscreen but just a blue screen that goes though a sequence almost like it did when I reset it. The sequence is "mounting rootfs" then "switching to rootfs" then "starting kernel event manager" then "starting network interfaces". The last quote also has a green loading bar on the very bottom of the screen. When the green bar loads its says "starting application" then it goes black then starts the portal.

    how much internet data would i need if i use iptv? will 300gb be enough? please let me know as i dont know how much gb would be sufficient to watch on iptv

      I would try to get unlimited. Keep in mind your laptops your cell phones Smart home devices. It all uses Internet, I know if 300gb is enough. I would ask your Internet service provider how much Internet did you use last month.

    I have a mag 322 but the wrong power cable was inserted and blew the power and it wont turn back on even with the original power cable
    would you possibly know if it is repairable ? or has the whole fuse board blew

      Hi Glen, it sounds like the board is blown. I don't think it's worth fixing. If you decide to get a new one, I would get Mag 324.

But now i have the problem that everytime i start the Box the blue screen is disappearing like i would do factory reset and it takes very long to get the box started after long time waiting on the black screen.

      Unplug your box then hold the menu button down on the remote and don't let go. Then plug the box back up, once you get a menu screen come up. let go the menu button. Now check all the setting

      No rebooting won't. Factory restarting yes, you will have to re-enter the portal url. So before you factory restart your box, write down your portal so you can enter it after the restart.

      No this won't fix that. Missing file is to do with the IPTV server. You need to contact your provider.
      But if you want to try something? someone sent me a comment on this. They said they keeps trying to watch the movie after the 3rd attempt, the movie worked.

      It sounds like your IPTV server might be down. If you need to get into setting. Reboot your box when you see loading profile hit the menu button and it will take you to setting.

      That's something to do with your IPTV server. Try contacting your provider and ask them if they can add that feature back.

      Question: Why do you want to factory reset your box?
      You might not be doing it right.
      - Unplug the box
      - Hold the menu button down and don't let go.
      - plug the box back in and make sure you are holding the button down in front of the Mag box.
      - When you see the blue screen then let go of the button.
      If you don't see the blue screen, then you might have problem with your box.

      No, it will still work. just don't use the old server, use a different URL. Try the no block firmware.

      There is no password, you just need to add the portal URL. If you don't have it, you have to contact your IPTV provider for it.

      Hi. The URL that you are using is blocked Try a different IPTV server (URL). The box is fine it's just the URL in system setting under portal

    my box keeps going to DHCP even after setting to NAND AND SAVING.I now see nand and NAND2 ILL TRY 2. this is y i only use android boxes. this was given to me to try and fix.. still same error issue. dhcp wants to load but error..

      Hi. That means you just have the first generation box. What you do is unplug your box. Hold the menu button down on the remote and don’t let go. Plug your box back in. Keep pointing the remote to your box and you should get a blue menu screen. Then head down to reset box.

      Hi. If you are having problems with only 1 channel. The problem is with the server not the box. Contact your provider and tell him the channel your having problems with.

      What server are you using? It could be your server, Try playing with the buffering option in the main menu. Are you using Wifi or hardwire?

      It's starts at 0, try 2 and move up from there. Keep in mind the high you go the longer the channel change will take. I will a video on this if you want?

      Hi, there's no fix for that box yet. But try talking to your IPTV provide because it only does that with certain servers.

      Loading Error, Is a server problem. Call your server provider and ask him. But it's usually back up in a few hours.

    After loading the portal my box just goes to a blank black screen. I can access the system settings and thats it. Any ideas?

      Unplug your box and hold down the menu button and plug your box back in. Once you get the menu up, go to TV setting and make sure it's on NTSC. If you are in euro make sure it's on PAL.

    This is actual sabotage not telling you to make sure you Memorize or screen shot the Portal info and password before following his directions... that you willl need them later. Jason, you could VERY easily do a subtitle over the beginning steps to tell people this. Guess I'm just going to return this stupid device to the store.
