Help Please! I have a MAG 254. The box is powered down in the evening; however, next day unable to turn on box using the remote control, I.e., it’s unresponsive. If I disconnect the power to the box; once box is powered up, it then responds to the remote. Almost a daily occurrence.
I never ran into that problem. So you turn the box off for the evening and in the morning the box won't load back up? Do you get anything showing on the TV? Have you checked to see if your box needs an firmware update? If it is up to date, take down your portal URL and do a factory reset on the box. After the reset, re-enter the portal URL. And see if that fixes it.

I have my IPTV service and it works fine for the most part but like others I get the freezing and/or goes back 15 seconds and replays. Do I need to do the other manual firmware fix via USB to downgrade the software or will a factory reset allow me to upgrade to a lower firmware version?

@@JasonTech Thanks. I’ve bought a new STB to see if that is the issue. The new STB also handles 4k and vpn which I under stag the 322 can’t handle. Obviously when I reach out to the provider there are no issues on their end which I’m skeptical about. I can always go with a new provider as well to see how that works. I guess I won’t do the firmware downgrade. It seems your reply didn’t specifically answer the question whether using your link provided would allow me to update the software to a previous version. Maybe I’m missing something, does the no block firmware link provided specify a specific software version?
In the video, you will only get that option if you upgrade before. Then you will be able to go back to the old version. That's why you don't have that option because you never upgrade before.
My mag 254 when going onto service just has a general section but no portal options, how can I add portals onto it or has the supplier blocked this function ?

When I turn it on after about 30 seconds it goes to a screen that says Username and Password. I have no idea what to do.Should I download the old Mag254 firmware from your link on to a USB drive.|? If yes Which version of it should I take? They all had different dates I opened one and there were many files inside it. I am assuming I just download the files from one date? Is this correct? Your help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. :)
This method no longer works. The box no longer accesses the “clean” BIOS screen after you release the button when it stops flashing quickly. It now automatically does a software update to the latest image. The image is now 2.20.11-322 Tue Jun 30 13:39:55 EEST 2020. Also brings up Infomirs “Privacy Policy” ! With this image on the box when you try to this load an earlier version of the image it still comes up “unsupported architecture!” Any way round this?
@@JasonTech Its a MAG322 It does not work. I suggest you update your MAG322 to the latest Infomir Image 2.20.11-322 then try it on your box and you will see UNBLOCK fix does not work!

My current version is 2:20:11 dated June 30 2020, and on tv series and video club it causes a freeze and skip 20 seconds ahead. I purchased the service through an agent who has recently moved. Is there any way I can reverse this upgrade please?

When I hit F2 and bring up the page showing the current software version, the second entry is not in a box and does not have an option to scroll down. I have tried to find the previous upgrade so I could download onto a USB and install from the boot, but have not found it

I do not have any way to do it unless I can load the previous software which I cannot find anywhere. Can you tell me what firmware I would get if I did a a factory reset? Should I select the NAND I am not using before doing that?

i got a 420 after a switch to a new provider i updated and now my timeshift does not work properly (takes me to the beginning of the program even if i try to move 1 min).... switched back to old provider and downgraded using your tutorial but problem remains. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
JASONTech switched to new then back to my old one. Problem appeared on the new and after the update.....I downgraded and switched back to old server thinking this will fix problem but it didn’t

Sorry, are you getting pop ups while watch a channel? If so, that's a problem with the IPTV subscription not the firmware.
When I press F2 it opens but I don't have more than 1 software. How do I do it with the USB? It doesn't recognize the imageupdate file

No, that means your box has expired. You need to renew your IPTV Subscription.

You can't. But your problem is not the box, it's the IPTV service. Not all portals work with the Mag522. Did you tell your provider what box is here?
