Hello, great question. Here in South Australia, the boat needs to have a 'builders plate' on it. Who can put a builders plate on is a bit of a grey area. However, the main criteria is that the builder has to someone who is considered to be experienced and knowledgable in boat building. Hello, all exterior surfaces get glassed. Any voids get sealed with epoxy and filled with expanding foam. The superstructure will be glassed with Dynel fibreglass cloth. So will the hull sides down to the boot strap line. below that is double diagonal biaxial cloth. Thanks for watching, cheers. Steve and Maple
