God his voice is so rich I could listen to it all day, everyday for the rest of my life and still need more
It's such an unique voice. I've read some people compare it to Hozier (he's an amazing artist ) but I can't find a voice like this. You know that feeling? That some singers have, that feeling of "oh, what's this voice? Never heard something like that" Leo has this. Not many singers have that and I've always find it special.
Such a rich and unique voice and way of singing.

I've heard many singers try to cover Maynard's songs but most of them failed to make it enjoyable for a hardcore Tool fan like me. But his voice matches so well, it is amazing.

I know it’s wrong knowing or talking about his identity but I love his old singing SOO MUCH.
It's only wrong bc ST fans make it much bigger than it's supposed to be. All they wanted was to be known for the music as a band. The fan base took it to the next level of forced anonymity
I used to listen to a bit of Blacklit Canopy and immediately recognised his voice when I was first shown Sleep Token, the friend who showed them to me was not happy that I ruined the mystery for her. 😅
Unless they've totally divorced from reality, they know the anonymity thing is a gimmick but it gives the ravenous fans something to focus on except from their personal lives. The God/Mortal dynamic is far sexier than someone with probable BPD losing themselves to a toxic relationship.
@Jcarney17 not quite. They wiped all there accounts of any personal information. Never have any interviews they have talked in besides ii altered voice one. Don't talk on stage or seen outside of costume. It's not just fan driven. It's there wishes as well

The mask just gave him what he needs to cut loose. There is a definite difference between his more reserved body language in videos prior to ST, early ST and current. The Vessey stomps would not exist today without the mask 😂

He really has embodied the slight mannerisms and quirks of Maynard’s voice in a way I haven’t heard many others be able to replicate quite as well.
He’s able to flip on and off notes exactly the same way Maynard does and I’m thoroughly impressed.

I came across the audio while first before I saw the video and when he started singing I was blown away. There is something about the discrepancy between random people chatting and him starting to sing with his amazing voice! It really is piercing through the room it feels.
It is also the first time we get to hear his lower/mid range from that time (around Blacklit Canopy, where he mainly uses falsetto). He really did sound this amazing even back then. Talented kid indeed. Also the other instrumentalists are amazing! That drummer goes hard!
