Tbh I briefly joined in it's beginning stages as a recovering anorexic, just posting unedited photos of me posing because a huge reason as to why I developed an ED was due to heavily photoshopped/edited photos. I wanted people to see that hey it's okay if you have rolls when you sit/a weird pouch because that's your organs lol. I dipped out pretty quick though once I saw how toxic it was becoming

Amen i have a chronic skin condition that leaves scars and huge red patches on my body and when im not in a reaction stage my skin has bleached looking patches where my red splotches were and tanning makes it stand out more because those parts of my skin cant tan for some reason i thought it was eczema but they couldn't figure out wjat it was to be exact they marked it to a mix of auto immune disorder and vitiligo and i hid my skin so long the body positive movement was orginally for that not an excuse for obesity

Same kind of. I was always 115-125 my whole life but never had healthy eating habits. I LOVED fast food. I had a quick metabolism when I was young so it never affected me. Had my son and continued my habits and gained 100 pounds… I HATED it! At 33 I was told I was prediabetic, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.. had to be on medication. I got scared when my blood pressure was causing physical symptoms, went to the ER. The next day I started walking 3,000 steps, turned into 5,000 , 10,000. Then I started working out every other day. Now I cannot stop working out because of the mental strength and physically feeling great. Changed my diet completely. To make sure I don’t give up, I do give myself a day a week where I can choose something that’s not in my usual diet I use to love… it’s been 7 months and I’ve lost 70 pounds!

When I was 13, I weighed 275lbs/124kg/19stone, I am 5'8 or 68in. I dislocated my knee and didn't realize how bad my obesity was until I couldn't bear weight on the injured leg after surgery, so I had to relearn how to walk basically. I ended up losing a lot of weight because I didn't like constantly asking my mom to get me food when I typically would get it so I wasn't overeating. When I recovered I started paying attention to my calorie intake and completely stopped drinking juice (I never liked soda so none of it either), and do home exercise for 30 minutes everyday. I am now 15 and I turn 16 in September and I weigh 203lb/14stone/93kg. My mom still buys unhealthy foods and the kitchen practically hasn't changed since I was my original size 3 years ago but, I still lost 72 pounds, I don't go to the gym or have any equipment, I am living proof the mind is what counts, I'm hoping to be 180lbs/81kg/12stone by my birthday.

She tried EVERYTHING, it was heartbreaking, her confidence was at rock bottom. Instead of throwing in the towel, she kept trying until something worked. Its how they "deal" with it, I think they feel ashamed about the laziness and gluttony, but its not shameful those are very understandable human traits, and they can be changed if you work at it, even just 30mins of exercise a day even just starting with that 30mins being a walk, and that means just walking out for 15mins and then turning around and going back home, and the overeating can really be helped if you cut fatty sauces and etc and add low calorie density foods that you can add to meals in large amounts without adding much calories like celery zucchini potato and winter squash (are my favourites) and fruit for breakfast is a good tip too, I eat frozen fruit blended with lowfat yoghurt with artificial sweetener added and its pretty much like having ice cream for breakfast except healthy. I never thought it was just about people over normal size. I think the whole thing got hijacked. Like cultural appropriation got hijacked, used to be it was about for example china claiming Pansori is Chinese when the world unesco organisation named it Korean world heritage. Its not supposed to be used by people offended that someone bought a cheap Chinese style dress and wore it to their prom because she thought it absolutely beautiful and she could afford it on her part time job.

GIRL I just wanted to say you're a true inspiration to me. I'm on my own weight loss journey, from 306 pounds to 250 and still going to be a muscular goddess like you in the future, and your videos really motivates me to keep pushing and not ever make excuses because I know I can do better and I WILL. Anyone's capable of taking care of their health, period. It might be harder for some, they might need more help than others, but using this as an excuse to do absolutely nothing while attacking others and spreading misinformation to appease their own need for self validation is just a waste of everyone's time and energy.
Sure, I don't agree with absolutely EVERYTHING you say, but that's the whole thing about being different people, we're bound to have different opinions. That's what makes hearing other opinions so important, so we can ✨learn and grow✨ even if we don't agree with them. Those people spewing hate for no reason with no research at all can get a Frank's kiss to chill. Your videos are full of truths and tough love that I absolutely needed to hear and I'm forever grateful I found you.
    Lots of love

As someone overweight who is currently on their weightloss journey I pity people who feel being overweight and unhealthy is okay. At age 20 sure maybe its fine but once you cross 30 and suddenly you have all these health problems, you realize why the doctor is always pushing you to lose weight. Fat shaming is not okay. Don't look disgusted because you think the appearance of a fat body is unappealing. Be disgusted because you know this person is being unhealthy and ailments are coming their way. When I see a fat person on the treadmill I think they are inspiring because they are making changes for a better life. When I see a fat person eating mcdonalds Im disappointed because there is no need to add any more fat to your body. Your body is well stored with fat. Its time to utilize those fat stores. Weight Loss isn't about looking pretty, its about being able to climb a flight of stairs without being breathless. Its about being able to run a lap without needing a pause. Your body is capable of great things don't let the fat hold you back. When I see a fit woman at the gym I am so impressed because I realize how much work it takes to build a body like that. Whenever I see fit people at the gym I think, "if I keep working hard, one day I can be just as fit".

Ya know, I started watching this channel a few years back as a hate watcher but then I ended up taking your advice with a few other health youtubers I was hate watching and I started to lose. I started at 300lbs and my goal weight a few years ago was 185 before I gave up this tome decided I wanted to be between 120-130. I have now made it to the 180. My top went from a 3x to a medium and yesterday I was able to fit in a small shirt. My pants size was 2xl and is now an xl. I now weight less than my husband. My husband has clearly become way more attracted to me, I can walk, I can swim, I can play basketball with my 8 year old. I can walk my dogs. No longer sitting down while food shopping, I can breathe better, I feel better and because I worked on my weight problem and mental health together, My bipolar1 has been rediagnosed as BPD which is now well on its way to being put in remission, I have the new diagnosis of Autism. My depression that set off my binge eating Ed is gone which means I no longer binge. I did this all while, I was going through a break up from my fiance of 7 years, my back was broken with my ex didc 70lbs losy were with a broken back, my absuive narcissist mom was diagnosed with cancer and I had to take care of her and my daughter, going through a court case with my ex arrest, my mental health depeleted and I was having an autism related burnout which ment constant overstimulation, melt down and disacociation, the only person I had to help me was a stranger who I opened up to on the internet who took pity on me for whatever reason and supported me through this, he is now my husband. I crawled from the depths of hell and back multiple times and I won’t stop til I have that fit body I want. Hate watchers you can spout all the body positive shit you want, you can hate all these channels who are trying to help all you want, I’ve been you and I’ve used every excuse in the book, I had every excuse to go back and stuff my face but I did it through the worst physical, emotional and mental pain of my life. I know how hard it is to want to give up. I had a hard life, given up by a racist narcissisic family only to be adopted into a similar family with less racism, sexual assault victim 3 separate time by the time I was 14, no friends because I was bulled, my mom is crazy and saw me as her, mom, her siblings, her husband and her daughter and I had to go through every type of abuse from that. She gas lighted everyone around me and made me believe I was crazy up until I met my husband 3 years ago. That got me to no self esteem, 300lbs worthless and lost. I over came the odds and I’ve defeted every demon by alone up until I met my husband. These channels, the ones you hate, the ones you talk shit about, saved my life. It took me a few weeks going to the gym for the first time to clearly understand that 90% of this movement is made out of either lazy, weak, jealous, or just some incredibly innocent/clueless/detached people, and they actually consider their choice to play safe and never change unhealthy habits as superior, or sometimes _braver_ than someome who puts themselves on the line and struggles for a change

My husband's boss got that surgery. He wished he had never done that. When they do the surgery. And they bypass all of your intestines to your larger intestines. You actually become extremely nutrient deficient. Then if you have the skin surgery. Cuts off a lot of lymph nodes. And not to mention, again you're not getting your nutrients because you're missing a very important part of your intestinal tract breaking down your nutrients and absorbing them.
His vitamin levels were so dangerously low. He had to eat every 2 hours. He had to take multiple supplements which truly wouldn't give him exactly what he needed.
Please do it on your own. You're stronger than your food cravings. You're stronger than your candida triggering dopamine when you're feeding it exactly what it thrives off of. Or is a fungus stronger than you? Think about that. Good luck

I've just stumbled across your videos. You are a brutally honest woman, and I'm loving it! I'm obese with PCOS, BED, and depression (losing weight is extremely difficult but that's not gonna stop me from learning). There is a challenging tug-o-war between loving myself as I am now and the me I want to be (healthy and strong), and a lot of it goes down to my food.
I'm happy you're talking about obesity. There's so much damage that happens to the body by being overweight, and nowadays there are a lot of people who don't want to hear the truth. For me, my first step is tackling my BED headon. Learn better habits, stay away from snack foods that I will overeat if I have them near, and put my health as my biggest priority. One day at a time. 🥰

@@hobihobi9595 and young people are not above criticism just as much as older people. Young people get leeway because it’s expected that that they are naive because of a lack of life experience. Older people are expected to be mature of course, but life experience can shape and cement people’s view of the world so being flexible about change is difficult (but not impossible). Both deserve patience for growth. You’re probably very young but using someone’s age and looks isn’t the strong argument you think it is. Childhood obesity is concerning for many reasons but saying they die at early ages and in horrible ways is not true across the board. Many people that are “considered obese “ suffer medical discrimination and do not have their concerns taken seriously. They’re just told to lose weight as a cure all for all their issues… mean while they are there to get a tumor diagnosed and are completely ignored. This student can very well to contribute to that discrimination and actually cause real harm to people.
