Do the drive safe lenses help with blue light. I read that xenon and LEd lights are in the blue spectrum so these would also help when staring at a computer for 10 hours. So essentially they would have a blue light filter. Is this true?.

Thank you for the question, Tyler. Drivesafe does offer some bluelight protection on the computer but only in the lower spectrum. Zeiss offers another product, call Zeiss BlueProtect, that blocks bluelight in the higher, more harmful spectrum.

Just a personal suggestion....if you work on a computer all day like I do and are worried about bluelight protection, you would benefit from 'computer specific' eyeglasses. Not only do they offer protection from bluelight but they also are 'power specific' for the computer distance. I couldn't live without my computer glasses. I have less eye strain and neck pain. I wear Gunnar Computer and Gaming glasses but there are many brand including some Zeiss Computer glasses. I know they are a 'second' expense but well worth it for the comfort.

The Eye Associates - West Bradenton thanks. My eye center talked me into the drive safe. I guess that's much better to use on a computer versus standard glasses. I try to turn down my monitors and when using my phone I turn on the blue light filter. Which feels nice on the eyes. I think I will save up for a pair of computer glasses.
