Hi and thank you for your question. ZEISS SmartLife Lenses are our top-tier lenses designed for how we use our eyes, especially for digital device users. ZEISS BlueGuard Lenses are designed with blue light protection built-in to protect eyes from blue light. We cannot make recommendations since we aren't eye doctors so we do suggest you reach out to one to find out what they recommend for your specific needs. You can find one with ZEISS at www.zeiss.com/FindAnEyeDr

smart life is a lens design like multifocal lenses, single vision lenses and so on. Blue Guard is a coating that you can apply on pretty much all lenses and helps with displays and artificial lights by absorbing a large part of the blue light leading to a more comfortable viewing experience, especially in those cases where you work a lot in front of displays or are in rooms with a lot of artificial lighting. If your considering a blue light filter for your lenses I would recommend to take a look at "Zeiss blueprotect", instead of applying it onto the lens surface it is worked into the lens material itself, leading to a lesser base tint and pretty much eliminating the blue reflection on the lens from the bluelight filter.

How much does it normally cost? Why does no one want to say? Is it because it is the price of a flagship smartphone?

Hi and thank you for your question. ZEISS is a premium lens product that is only sold via eye care professionals. ZEISS doesn't not sell directly to patients. The prices vary depending on the eye care professional, lens material, coatings, tints, etc. which is why we do not advertise prices. Additionally, many vision insurances do cover ZEISS lenses. We suggest you find an eye care provider that carries ZEISS to inquire about their pricing. You can find one at www.zeiss.com/FindAnEyeDr
