That 2.0T not only produces a better sound, but it would smoke that 3.8 in a straight. Thats why it just did donuts the entire time, and the 2L showed you what it was about. The 2.0T has more potential then the 3.8.
@chickenpax1 I'm sure it's as stout as the 4b11. I wouldn't worry about engine internals until I break something anyway. People said the same thing about the 2g Eclipse 4g63, but that thing has held over 500 whp. Superchargers are cool and all, and if I had a V6, I'd probably go that route instead of messing with a complicated turbo setup, but otherwise they're kind of a pain in the ass and not the best choice for maximum power.
@jaeminseo I don't see much point in going with the V6. If you're going to be modding the car anyway, the 2.0T makes much more sense and can make just as power. The V6 has 2 extra pistons, 2 extra rods, 12 extra valves, 2 extra camshafts, an extra bank of exhaust ports, and less mod-friendly intake routing. And extra weight. The only way I'd buy the V6 is if I were keeping the car stock (which I wouldn't do).
@tenjinnim the 3.8 only wins if you are comparing the cars stock. pretty much anything with a turbo is a great tuning platform and im pretty sure they dont have much aftermarket for the 3.8. personally i just love the sound a turbo makes with a good blow off valve lol
@787Bisurdaddy yeah but some people die for that whiny sound of supercharger...lol like myself. i don't mind turbos either but i'm looking more into superchargers nowadays...plus, hyundai's i4 has some mixed reviews..some people say it's safe for upto around 350hp, some ppl say it's not...until hyundai gets forged internals i don't think putting like stage 3 on the i4 isn't a very safe idea :D any thoughts?
@tenjinnim the 2.0 maximizing the stock turbo with new piping intake exhaust and larger inter cooler they make around 260 at the wheels a 3.8 with a turbo on stock internals will make 400rwhp reliably more than that and you doing engine mods
@matt25675 aftermarket for the 2.0t is better. more power potential with the 2.0t turbo set up. 3.8 is only good if you setup a turbo/sc with a custom manifold & fuel/tunning support. Havent seen anyone do that. And btw stock vs stock both engines are slow... thats why people tune them to make them fast
@thedominionx haha! you think the 2.0T would smoke the 3.8 in a strait, stock vs. stock the 2.0 is almost a second and a half slower from 0-60 and that's WITH a turbo already on the 2.0. if you slapped a turbo/supercharger on the 3.8 the 2.0 wouldn't touch it no matter what tunes you have on it. that's not to say the 2.0 isnt a great car and its nice that its cheaper. but you get what you pay for
Is there anything that I can do to buy this product and ship it to the USA? I'd buy right now if someone has them ready to go. SFR in the USA can tune for it no problem. There is a HUGE demand for this product over here. Can someone help us get it?
@andbudzi LOL please dude, I own a hyundai unlike most that have posted on this video (99 Tiburon). My 2.0L has been whored out to many other hyundai's and kia's alike. Look I don't completely hate the 3.8, has a nice sound, puts out some decent power, but at the end of the day, it's the 2.0L Theta thats getting the big improvement, not the sloppy 3.8. Once again, please don't try to prove me wrong about this.
@StockDC2 For your info, the point I was trying to make is that they're not only 2.0s like Red97Avenger was saying. How bout you check previous comments b4 you talk shit.
how come this supercharger isint on the market in the usa , and as of rite now in the usa the 2.0 is a better build cuz they dont make shit for the 3.8
I never said superchargers didn't have blow off valves, they just have different types. Maybe if you took your meds this morning to help you watch and pay attention to the whole video, you'll clearly hear a difference. It shifts from the two cars at 1:50 with a clear distinct difference in sound. I can't even believe you've posted vid's of a genesis, thats disgusting.
@Divimport Actually, if you look down a few posts, you said entry level. Please again, take the import out of your name, don't own a hyundai, and honestly just stop trying to prove me wrong. I already know there is something special about you, since you couldn't even tell the pitch difference between a v6 and a i4.
@Divimport Okay so whats your point besides the fact you finally admit that the one is a i4. FAIL. Umm also, the new gdi in the 2011 sonata, is a 2.4L NA that produces only 200HP (Well not only, quite impressive really). Once again, FAIL. Please, remove the import from your name and sell your car and buy a domestic.
OMG LOOK AT ME I CAN BURN TIRES!!! seriously? much love for this car but you could do a bit better to advertise what it can do. take it to a drag strip or some windy mountain roads.
How in the world is that a 2.0, Red97Avenger? I rarely post comments on youtube but if you can't distinguish the sound from a V6 and your shitbox civic, you've got to do some more research about cars my friend. Seriously.
That 2.0L is the real sound of the genesis, that is aboslutely amazing wow. You made me believe in my 2.0L again, power to hyundai!
Those tail lights are hott!!

No dude. They're both 3.8's and they're both wicked.
@chickenpax1

more exotic sounding then a z
Don’t ever let that guy recording EVER record again. Thanks
lovin' the rims

😍🤤
@monster2000k that car is so sick.....
So what supercharger kit is this? I would love to have this on my 3.8!
@thedominionx haha! you think the 2.0T would smoke the 3.8 in a strait, stock vs. stock the 2.0 is almost a second and a half slower from 0-60 and that's WITH a turbo already on the 2.0. if you slapped a turbo/supercharger on the 3.8 the 2.0 wouldn't touch it no matter what tunes you have on it. that's not to say the 2.0 isnt a great car and its nice that its cheaper. but you get what you pay for
Hey random question to everyone but how much tuner could 10g's buy and what's the cheapest performance vehicle you think you guys could put together??
@tenjinnim 400hp on stock turbo? Not even remotely close.
Is there anything that I can do to buy this product and ship it to the USA?
I'd buy right now if someone has them ready to go.
SFR in the USA can tune for it no problem.
There is a HUGE demand for this product over here. Can someone help us get it?
0:37 yeah right? what's it going to kill? G37s?
LOL please, theres a reason they put that block into a mini van....
Woe, someone wished they bought a mustang.

with 10g i would buy a tiburon v6 and turbo it or a acura rsx with bolts on
this is why you should only buy new sportscars
What kind of exhaust????
Good way of screwing up a nice car!
id love to do that in canada, but in the 3:42 it would take me to do this, id be paying out the ass to fill er up.
how come this supercharger isint on the market in the usa , and as of rite now in the usa the 2.0 is a better build cuz they dont make shit for the 3.8
You said entry level sedan, and PLEASE again, change your name.

@soloryderrr i think you are thinking about camaro z34 buddy. check my profile.
OMG LOOK AT ME I CAN BURN TIRES!!! seriously? much love for this car but you could do a bit better to advertise what it can do. take it to a drag strip or some windy mountain roads.
@VancouverZ34
You drive a Z34? Like one of the most problematic cars of all time? New hyundai's are great. Your too close minded.
hyundai is hyundai
Your best bet is a civic.
