Skate Shoe Lakai Telford - Is it Worth the Money?

- First skate session with new High top shoes!
This is my first pair of high-top skate shoes ever. This initial impression video is also my first skate session using the new to me, Lakai Telford highs. For this review I headed over to the Roanoake skatepark to do a little warmup session and get a feel for the shoes. These shoes didn't require any break-in and feel very similar to the Lakai Bristol which i previously skated.
Check out my thoughts on padding/ lace protection, break-in period, initial feel of shoe, padding, and durability. We all hate a shoe that falls apart immediately!

I love the look of these for sure. I will say they are true to Lakai board feel as there isn’t much padding to them. Take that into consideration if want more feel or more protection.

@@SkatingwithAaron if you wear 10.5, I can give you a pair. I have 5-6 pairs and there is no way I will get through them all.

I have the low top Yeah Right version. Honestly, I don't skate low tops and I was real comfortable in them. Heal wasn't bad but I battled a fakie heel way too long.

I’m definitely enjoying the high top feel. Might need to put some inserts in these bad boys and they’ll be good to go. That being said a shoe that you have to add something to is an incomplete shoe on my opinion. I appreciate the input on your experience! 🍻
