Skate Shoe Lakai Telford - Is it Worth the Money?
First skate session with new High top shoes!
This is my first pair of high-top skate shoes ever. This initial impression video is also my first skate session using the new to me, Lakai Telford highs. For this review I headed over to the Roanoake skatepark to do a little warmup session and get a feel for the shoes. These shoes didn't require any break-in and feel very similar to the Lakai Bristol which i previously skated.
Check out my thoughts on padding/ lace protection, break-in period, initial feel of shoe, padding, and durability. We all hate a shoe that falls apart immediately!
Check out more Skating with Aaron skateboard trick tips and turotials!

Best Budget Electric Skateboard: Uditer S3 HUB Review
Переглядів 4978 місяців тому
In this skateboard review video I go over the unboxing and my riding thoughts on the best and cheapest electric skateboard under $500. This thing is a super sturdy eskate that went 28mph with me on it. That's extremely fast for and electric longboard, especially for a skateboard under $500. I have not ridden a Boosted Board, but I bet this Uditer S3 skateboard would give it a run for the money....

    By the way....some have a difficult time with a moving ollie because of the coordination of moving your body with the board. Maybe you can teach that.

    i've watched just about every tictac video on youtube, and this is the ONLY one that mentions that little push you give towards the outside with your front foot...i think this is something most skaters do instinctively, and they don't think to actually explain it. my tictacs are still terrible, but this one adjustment has at least made me start moving forward!

      Understandable! Take baby steps and try flat ground Ollie’s while slowly rolling. Starting shifting your view to the front toes and then to the nose of the board. Start adding a little more speed and looking a few inches in front of your board. Pick a crack or something small to Ollie over so you can practice looking ahead and then preparing. Nothing substitutes time on your board. Keep at it and you’ll get it!

    • @SkatingwithAaron
      @SkatingwithAaron Місяць тому

      Don’t think it would damage the wheels but it could cause certain types of wheels to be more slick and potentially slip out by accident. That of course could cause an injury to the skater. Beyond that, the wheels would be fine. If anything the bearings would suffer more from the chalk getting inside. But again, I think that’s a slim chance. More than likely the skater just didn’t want the girls blocking an obstacle and threw that out instead of saying what he really wanted to. Was he a younger guy?

I’m in my 60s and I suppose most people will think I am crazy to do this. I am in pretty good shape for my age. I purchased my board at a local skate shop and got all the protection and taking my time. These examples will help for sure. The first time I went out ( shoulder have gotten balance down more)I succeeded riding and getting up on the board but I took 3 hard falls in the first 10 minutes. The padding probably saved me from breaking my arm or wrist. Shook it off and continued more cautiously. I just lost control of the board so now slowing it down and working on balance. Thanks again!
