Hi Angie, I love how you give the facts and don't get side tracked with animals walking around or other distractions. The other great thing is I trust what you say because you do all the testing and research for us. Thanks so much!!!
Wow! Your research, instruction and detail on how to use this is amazing. I learned a whole new way for shirts and other objects. This product and method would work really well for a Print and Cut design that is impossible to change into a Cut-only file for Infusible Ink because of its being too complex to break down. Thanks once again, Angie!
Thank you for telling us the difference between heat transfer PAPER and heat transfer VINYL. A lot of products mix their words on the label to trick you into one vs the other.

@tashanet I literally just bought a Silhouette Cameo 4. Not because I don't like my Cricut, but because I've beat the poor thing to inches of death. Her little rubber wheels are worn and concave. I'm hoping the Silhouette print and cut is better. So far cutting has been fast and so smooth.

OK, it's been a year since Siser came out with this. I've just bought a 5pk of the DTV and TTD, and I'm not happy with what I'm seeing. Please tell me that Siser has made major improvements on this...i.e. easier transfer sheet transfer (no lifting from carrier sheet), longer wear (more than 15 washes), etc. Surely, in a year, with all the complaints, they've done SOMEthing to improve this product. Thanks for your awesome videos and product tests.
@@AngieHolden So basically, using the TTD is still a nightmare. OK, well, that will determine how I use my 5 sheets of EasyColor DTV, and probably keep me from buying anymore. THANKS! LOVE your videos!
3G Opaque is dead to me lol. That stuff WAS the defacto material since 2009 to present, no more. Firstly, 3G had to change its backing paper years ago due to some lawsuit, so transfer tape no longer works with it. Second, it turns into a raisin after a few washes, not something you'd want to sell even for novelty... Gave Siser's EC DTV a try, blown away. This is the real deal. I think this rivals that of solvent printed vinyl t-shirt transfers on something like a BN-20, and I'm only using Epson's in house pigments (t542 bottled ink on a CISS with a wf-7610).
Hi Angie. I did purchase the Siser Easy Color DTV and pressed my first 2 shirts. Before I pressed, I did see a few reviews where people ended up in the rain and the color was dripping from their shirts. I wore the shirt I pressed last night. While making, it printed awesome, no issues weeding and no issues transferring. All was good until I spilled some water on my shirt. It had water spots on my dad's face. I washed it and alot of the color did wash out on first wash. I had another shirt that I added the Easy Color on and threw in the dryer hoping that would set the ink. No, it didn't. As soon as it came out of the dryer, I put some water on it and sure enough, the ink was dripping from the second shirt. Wondering what you did different. I used an HP 7100 printer.
@@AngieHolden I reached out to Siser and they said to use the plain paper setting. I honestly cannot remember if I used the plain paper setting or not. They also recommended to wash it first and let all of the color bleed out before wearing. That seems as though I will lose alot of the color but did a test today and will wait 24 hours as Siser recommended and see what happens. I will report back.
@@AngieHolden Ok, so I waited 72 hours instead of 24. I put it through a quick wash today. Have not dried it yet. I do have to say that the color does look good and actually better than before I washed it. I'm impressed with the image. Except...the HTV did bubble up in a couple of places. It may be that the material I put it on shrunk. But, the image is much better than I anticipated. I was ready to take this HTV off of my list but I think I will give it another try. Suggest that the fabric it is being put on is washed and dried before application to avoid the bubbling.
I like it, I did have an issue with dripping a little water while brushing my teeth and my image was less than 24 hours done and you could see the drops, thankfully it wasn’t totally noticeable on the shirt but really be careful near any water before that 24 hours!
Yeah, I wouldn't wear it at all for the 24 hr waiting period and then wash and dry it before wearing. I think it needs time to wash out any excess ink that is leftover.
Hi, I'm experiencing issues with Siser DTV where the color runs when I apply it. Could this be due to excess ink from when it was printed? Additionally, I notice that the design looks faded and dull after washing. What could be causing this? Thank you!
The only issues I have heard of is people getting it wet. You need to wait 24 hours AT LEAST before getting the product wet. That being said, maybe the humidity in your space or moisture in your shirt is causing this. Try preheating your shirt to remove moisture.
Thank you for testing this product, but could you test it using a real heat press not a Cricut easy press? I'm wondering if the longevity would be extended using a "real" press. Thank You!
Hi Angie, on the 15 wash shirt could you repress it on the same settings to re-seal the edges? Thank you so very much for all you put into your tutorials.
Would applying heat to the vinyl AFTER the multiple washes possibly help with the longevity of the product? Also, it appears that products such as this, would create an issue for those who sell their creations? How do you justify, to the customer, that the longevity and durability of any apparel will have a limited lifespan?
I am not sure if applying heat would help. I would doubt it. If you are selling your items, looking into products that require more investment is fine. I cover several of those on this channel. However, I also need to cover products that are intended for a home crafter.

They’re pushing this product as if it is the answers for sublimation ink printing replacement, it’s not! The product is good but not that good due to short longevity after a few wash. And the cost? It is way overpriced for a product that will only last after a few wash. The manufacture cost per sheet to make is around $0.03, but the retail price is anyway between $1.70 to $3.30 per sheet -CRAZY! Anyhow, if anyone planning to use this product for selling t-shirts or other products that will require wash will not be fear to the buyer, they will be disappointed after serval washings and may never buy from you again. Followed all your instructions. And mine will not transfer to the shirt. Sticks to the masking and won’t transfer. I used the correct heat settings. Did the extra 5 seconds. Still nothing.
Did you by chance get the product backwards when printing?
Does anyone else have issues with the colors printing accurately but changing colors after pressing?
Yep. Probably need some color correction. ua-cam.com/video/hu0b4NQor6U/v-deo.html
I did this and the cricut paper to protect machine ended up sticking to the sheet and ruined my shirt. I put the white side up. I don't know what I did wrong!
What type of "cricut paper" did you use? Sounds like you used the wrong thing.
What is the difference between heat transfer paper and printable heat transfer vinyl

Am I understanding? You are NOT using sublimation printer?
This is a regular inkjet printer. No sublimation.
i received some easy color from a friend. I have an Epson F170. Can I print this on my sublimation printer?
EasyColor DTV is not for a sublimation printer. EasySubli is for a sublimation printer.
Question, why does it come with multiple sheets to print on but only 1 mask??? 🤔
You can reuse the mask several times.
So when you do the laundry washes do you literally just do 15 times through the wash and inside out? Or how do you do it?
I do! Usually I turn inside out and sometimes I forget. I try to replicate real life and frankly I don't always remember to do that!
Would you recommend dtv for pictures of loved ones that have passed
Sure! It would work for that!
I shouldve watched this before i printed lol. I printed on the grey side 😅
Well now you know!
I printed the correct side, but didn’t peel off the backing! Ugh!
Oh boo!! Well now you know!
so sorry but does it matter if i use the easycolour or the mask. and do i have to put the mask on the easycolour?
You would add the mask to the EasyColor to transfer small pieces.
You use sublimation printer for this kind of paper??
This just uses a regular inkjet printer.
Angie I am trying to put on a stiffened burlap banner. It seems to fade and just peels off. Any suggestions.
Hmmmm...that is odd! I have no idea what would cause that!
what do you use to print? standard colour printer?
This is used with a regular inkjet printer.
What ink do u use Sublimasion? Or normal printer
This is a normal printer.
Hi there, what if I don’t have a Cricut to cut design. Do you have another way to do it?
You can do a simple design and use scissors.
Siser said not to iron on for 24 hrs…not a fan of that…and to also wash before wearing…what about tots bags?
I saw where they said you could iron it back on. You would need to put a protective sheet over it.
Great demo and review.👏🏽👏🏽 Did you wash your T-shirt before applying the product? 🥰🙋🏻♀️💜tfs
I did not but they were all shirts for crafting which are generally pre-washed when you purchase from a store.
hi would this be the siser easy subli?
You can find an EasySubli video here: ua-cam.com/video/nMV6SwmbrO0/v-deo.html
Angie can you print a photo with this and put it on a shirt? Ty
Sure!
