Love your video demonstration. Awesome job! That said, I would not recommend this product if anyone is planning on selling t-shirts or other washable products. With all the hype, Siser Easycolor DTV isn’t a replacement for sublimation ink printing what most UA-cam Content Creators had stated. They’re pushing this product as if it is the answers for sublimation ink printing replacement, it’s not! The product is good but not that good due to short longevity after a few wash. And the cost? It is way overpriced for a product that will only last after a few wash. The manufacture cost per sheet to make is around $0.03, but the retail price is anyway between $1.70 to $3.30 per sheet -CRAZY! Anyhow, if anyone planning to use this product for selling t-shirts or other products that will require wash will not be fear to the buyer, they will be disappointed after serval washings and may never buy from you again. I can see Siser DTV would be good for any products that does not require washing or just a few times during the years, handbags, wooded plaques, canvas art work, book covers, hats, lampshades, stuff animals or dolls clothing, etc…. So yeah, I would highly cautious to reconsider before investing and compare your other low cost options that will provide longevity on most materials. Again, this is for those who are sellers and your reputation is the key to success 😎
I currently have my shop set up to go through Printify. I’m going to start selling other stuff though and was looking into making my own shirts. I want it to be shipped together. Do you think sublimation is the best way to go?! I’ve watched so many different videos, but still don’t know.

@@AngieHolden I know, but perhaps one of their top people will listen. I have very few gripes about my Cricut. Overall, I love my machine. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. It helps tremendously.
I agree. I hate how they limit the size like we all just want a small image. Some images need to be big especially when doing a larger shirt. I thought about writing to cricut about this matter. I usually just use another printing method where I can make my image bigger.
@tashanet I literally just bought a Silhouette Cameo 4. Not because I don't like my Cricut, but because I've beat the poor thing to inches of death. Her little rubber wheels are worn and concave. I'm hoping the Silhouette print and cut is better. So far cutting has been fast and so smooth.
Wow! Your research, instruction and detail on how to use this is amazing. I learned a whole new way for shirts and other objects. This product and method would work really well for a Print and Cut design that is impossible to change into a Cut-only file for Infusible Ink because of its being too complex to break down. Thanks once again, Angie!

I used the siser dtv and the image was beautiful everything looked great , a day later when I wore the shirt it rained and there were water spots on the image and the ink bled 😔 I did use HP inkjet to print the design so I’m not sure why this happened
Expressions Vinyl sells it by individual sheets for $2.70 each and the TTD mask for $1.50 per sheet. In the long run it's more expensive individually. If you buy the 50 pack for $85.00 from heat transfer warehouse, it comes out to $1.70 per sheet.
Hi Angie. I did purchase the Siser Easy Color DTV and pressed my first 2 shirts. Before I pressed, I did see a few reviews where people ended up in the rain and the color was dripping from their shirts. I wore the shirt I pressed last night. While making, it printed awesome, no issues weeding and no issues transferring. All was good until I spilled some water on my shirt. It had water spots on my dad's face. I washed it and alot of the color did wash out on first wash. I had another shirt that I added the Easy Color on and threw in the dryer hoping that would set the ink. No, it didn't. As soon as it came out of the dryer, I put some water on it and sure enough, the ink was dripping from the second shirt. Wondering what you did different. I used an HP 7100 printer.
@@AngieHolden I reached out to Siser and they said to use the plain paper setting. I honestly cannot remember if I used the plain paper setting or not. Followed all your instructions. And mine will not transfer to the shirt. Sticks to the masking and won’t transfer. I used the correct heat settings. Did the extra 5 seconds. Still nothing.
Hi, I'm experiencing issues with Siser DTV where the color runs when I apply it. Could this be due to excess ink from when it was printed? Additionally, I notice that the design looks faded and dull after washing. What could be causing this? Thank you!
The only issues I have heard of is people getting it wet. You need to wait 24 hours AT LEAST before getting the product wet. That being said, maybe the humidity in your space or moisture in your shirt is causing this. Try preheating your shirt to remove moisture.

When I print mine on my epson eco tank the print is not dry. And the dtv I got I have to print on the gray side. The shiny side is the plastic. My colors aren't near as bright. But I do have sublimation ink. Does that matter?
I am new to everything and I tried the DTV on a 100% polyester Dri-fit shirt with the easy press on 340 *F for 15 seconds and I have a square outline on my shirt. Was I suppose to lower the temp so that I didn't burn it or did I use too much pressure using my body weight to press it?
Love Your videos! What if you only have a Laser Printer? You didn't mention so I'm assuming no? Do you have any suggestions or good tested alternatives if this can't be used on a laser? Thank you
Thanks for another great video. Do u think that, once it starts to degrade, you could use the iron behind the transfer hack to remove this vinyl and be able to re-use / re-press the shirt with another design?
I made a t-shirt using Siser DVT and love the way it looks and feels! However, I don't think I pressed it correctly and some of the design corners are lifting. Is there a way to re-press it? I tried just using my Cricut Heat Press, but the hole design stuck to my butcher paper!
Depends on what you are referencing. Their heat transfer paper only lasts a few washes. I think they also have a printable HTV and it would be fairly similar.
Hi Angie, Thank you for your videos. I used my epson ecotank and the color washed right out. I contacted Siser and they said I needed ECO Solvent Ink. Is that what you used? Thanks

Some shirts will leave a press mark. You can see more here: ua-cam.com/video/SzyFsf85uvk/v-deo.html
What setting would I use for the Cricut Easy Press Mini?
I would use the second setting.
How do you remove it? I made a shirt and I made a small mistake so I want to remove it.
Try heating from the back and it will probably peel up.
I havent used this product yet but the pack i bought all the mask was bubbled and weird is that normal?
Not normal. But it may be okay if it still sticks.
Can you use a laser printer? I’ve seen things that he has another thing say no
I have only seen an inkjet used with this material.
Have you tested the Avery Dark Transfer Papers? How would you compare it to Siser's DTV?
Generally transfer papers do not last very long at all. I haven't tried Avery specifically but I have tried a few versions. This would last longer.
Love Your videos! What if you only have a Laser Printer? You didn't mention so I'm assuming no? Do you have any suggestions or good tested alternatives if this can't be used on a laser?
Thank you
I don't have anything that I know of!
You use sublimation printer for this kind of paper??
This just uses a regular inkjet printer.
Thanks for another great video. Do u think that, once it starts to degrade, you could use the iron behind the transfer hack to remove this vinyl and be able to re-use / re-press the shirt with another design?
Maybe?
How well will this work on Lycra/ spandex? Will it stretch alot and snap back to the right shape?
It is NOT that stretchy.
@@AngieHolden does it have some stretch at least without cracking?
It does have some.
@@AngieHolden thank you
I made a t-shirt using Siser DVT and love the way it looks and feels! However, I don't think I pressed it correctly and some of the design corners are lifting. Is there a way to re-press it? I tried just using my Cricut Heat Press, but the hole design stuck to my butcher paper!
I use a teflon sheet over it and repress. Be sure to peel it off when hot though!
Can you give me the link to your professional paper that last longer
Try this: ua-cam.com/video/LmnK78t63wM/v-deo.html
How does this compare to Starcraft transfers for dark materials?
Depends on what you are referencing. Their heat transfer paper only lasts a few washes. I think they also have a printable HTV and it would be fairly similar.
@Angie Holden Also, thank you for the reply!
I printed the correct side, but didn’t peel off the backing! Ugh!
Oh boo!! Well now you know!
Hi Angie, Thank you for your videos. I used my epson ecotank and the color washed right out. I contacted Siser and they said I needed ECO Solvent Ink. Is that what you used? Thanks
My ink is pigment or dye based. Just a regular HP inkjet printer.
When not using the mask and just using the Teflon sheet, can you use heat tape to keep the image in place?
I didn't try that. It might crease the product where the tape is.
@@AngieHolden ok
Thank you
I would love to see if this would work on faux leather or real leather. Great video!
Great suggestion!
What if u dont dry it? What wore it out? The washing or the dryer do u think?
I think a combination. You will probably get a little longer life without a dryer.
I wonder will it hold up after many washes like the HTV.
I did a wash test in the video.
How can you tell what side of the paper to use?? I can’t tell a difference
I went over that in the video. Print on the white side not the side that is grey.
Okay, can you use a sublimation printer on this product to print the design? I might think this would be a way to sublimate on a cotton product.
I would use their EasySubli product for sublimation. This product is not made for sublimation.
