Not gonna lie, after the second time that skeleton fell, I couldn’t take my eyes off him waiting for him to fall again! Lol. Can’t wait to try this DTV!
🤣 I did the same thing!
I think I've commented on a youtube video once or twice ever but I feel that after watching this same one for three separate projects and stopping/starting it again and again (and again), I have to say something. Mr Crafty Pants, you are brilliant, talented, a great teacher and absolutely hilarious. Thanks for all you do, for walking me through some pretty cool projects and for being so dang relatable. ❤
Finally! A demonstration that is helpful! Too many people print where one cannot see how it's done but describe it which defeats the purpose of a HOW-TO video.
Yes Delonda is the absolute best! But so are you Michael… 😉 You 2 are 2 of the easiest instructors to learn from! Of course there are a few others as well! 😁
So excited when I found this printable HTV and your how to video! Unfortunately, my images aren't printing correctly! Ugh! I had this same issue with my printable vinyl. It must be my printer settings, but I can't seem to figure it out. I see you use the same printer I do, just a newer model. Any chance you can help a girl out?? It seems to be spilling too much ink onto the vinyl. You can't see any of the white outlines around the letters and there are droplets of ink on the edges.
Oh, yes! I will try that on my next project a friend is asking me to do!
Your skelly friend was not happy since you forgot to change the skeleton from black to white..it's hilarious 😂
Thank you!
And I’m literally lmbo at Mr. Skeleton seeking your attention while filming…he actually got it too😂😂
This is a game changer!!! No high price sublimation printer. Thanks for the tutorial.
You bet! Glad it was helpful :)
No high priced sub paper, but have you seen the price of the DTV? $2.75 for a 8.4 x 11 sheet or... I paid $145 total for a box of 50 sheets of the DTV and 50 sheets of the TTD Mask 😯😳
@@trishfrench1927 that's crazy! I haven't bought anything. I'll stick with layering. Much cheaper. Thanks for the update.
Thanks so much for posting your video. Made my first time using DTV and the TTD mask less intimidating. Love the result! My t-shirt turned out great. My days of using HTV are at an end. Nothing beats the vibrant colours I got using DTV.
but how durbale is it, see thats the problem. i know tis not like screen print or plastisol but
how is it compared to DTG, DTF, amd regular vinyl. How many washes can we get if careful
I love your videos, thank you soooo much... I am learning every day. This was all so intimidating, but you have helped me tremendously lol, the look you get in at around 9:23 where the Cricut goes off on its own, is pretty much the look I get all the time trying to figure out this machine...😂 the ghost of craftypants skeleton falling off... priceless... thx again, keep up the great work.
Finally got my DTV, don't have the mask yet. I'm so excited to try this. Going to try Resting Witch face today. The look on your face when Mr. Skelly fell both times was priceless!
Skelly falling twice had me laughing up a storm! love the tutorial Michael
I love it!! Going to try this out for sure!! Also I laugh so hard when the skeleton kept falling down as if it was alive lol 😂
I love your energy and vibe ❤
Thank you for showing how to load it and what it the DVT looks like. I ordered the carry sheet and the DVT on amazon. No labels. I didn't know which was which
You're so welcome and I'm glad it was helpful. 🤩
Love your videos Michael. You are super easy to learn from and easy on the eyes.
Michael you know to make a bad day turn into a great day. Thanks I needed some good vibes tonight
I just bought printable vinyl. So excited to start using it
Hope you have fun with it!! :)
I've watched Katrina from Moven Grace who states that the material you use to cover the DTV affects the end result. For example if you want a glossy end result you'll use a teflon sheet, if you'd want a matte end result you'll use parchment paper. I know everyone has their own styles I thought I'd share what I've learned. Lmk what you personally think. Stay crafty and safe god bless.
Thank you so much for this video! Really helpful!! I am having a really hard time getting the design to stick to the mask even after going over it with the squigy a million times, I even asked my husband to do it for me in case it just needed more pressure....any ideas/suggestions!?
This was an awesome video! An your skeleton cracked me up!
You Rock! You are now my Best Friend...I have subscribed to your channel.
Wow, thank you so much! 🤩🤩
Wow! Thanks so much for this tutorial. Can't wait to try this material!
Hope you enjoy it! 🤩
YASSS! c'mon cricut LETS GO! I have been waiting for this product to arrive 😍
Hope you have fun with it!
Great video! I am excited to get some of this product to try out. Watch out for that skeleton!!!
yay thank you for watching!! Hope you have fun trying it!
Loved the video, the resting witch face is so cute...
😊 thank you
It seems SISER DTV is a winner. So much easier than the old ways.
You’re the best! How do you figure out what designs to use? What’s the best vinyl to use on t-shirts? Wood? Stickers? Do you like your printer, recommend it? Thank you!!
I think I’m going to love this way better than anything I’ve seen
Love this video Michael. I was wondering why you look different than other videos. I believe this is the first time I have seen you without a hat
That's a personal question!
I'm so glad I found this video. I have been using a different printable vinyl but I couldn't find the mask that wouldn't pull off part of the ink. I'll try this!!
Thanks for showing how to use the Siser DTV. I'm excited to try it.
Hey Michael! Love you videos. Angie Holden showed how you can move the picture to another mat and you can fit more on a sheet. I haven’t tried it but I wanted you to know.
Great video! Can you reuse the transfer mask?
Is this similar to the Starcraft Printable vinyl? If so, which do you like better?
I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. Kudos for keeping your composure. Always love your videos
This stuff is amazing! So excited to see what you are going to make. Hi from TN!
Storms coming.....hope I don't lose my internet....lol....but I can always be on the replay squad... 😂😂
Thank you for sharing. Truly enjoyed the tutorial and interjections of your pal ‘Skelly’ jumping in for attention. Lol I just ordered some of the easyColor after seeing Delonda’s tutorial last week. 👍😁 Thanks again for the chuckles.
I accidentally on purpose bought this last weekend and it was amazing 👏
don't you hate it when you do things accidentally on purpose? LOL
This was a wonderful video. I had to watch it twice cuz I couldnt stop laughing at your spooky friend. It was funny. I cannot wait to try this product! I think it will be fun until I can afford to get a sublimation printer. Thanks for sharing!💋💋
Soooooo true! Cricut needs to change that print size for the print and cut. Really!
Always love your videos Michael , not too sure how I am feeling about this one though🤔🧐🤔🧐wil have to give it a try, thank you for everything you do and of course the laughs 😂😂 skeleton 😂😂
thank you so much for watching kim :) You'll have to let me know what you think about this stuff once you try it!
Replay squad in da house!!! What's up with the creepy skeleton? Too freaking funny! 😂😂😂
awesome, so you use the mask on intricate designs but not on easy ones?
Just curious since Cricut has a limited cut file size can you by chance do this video using the Solo machine. Thank you can't wait to try this material
I wish I knew I needed a ttd mask. I guess I will wait until I get that for the more complicated ones.
My print appears to be dull....yours is so vibrant!!!! Is there a certain printer i should be using?
Hello. Thanks for this. Why did you use the mask for the skeleton but not the other design?
Awesome video! I am learning so much from you... So you had to use the TTD sheet on the one image because it was not one solid picture...? But didnt have to use it on the sub file because it was one solid image?
Amazin video, excellent instructor. So silly question, did you have to pull the back off the second design like you did with the first.
Hello thank you for sharing this awesome video. I have a question I have an epson ET 2720 can I use this or do I need to buy a new one.
Lol I am watching the replay I can stop laughing Michael you are so funny, that was so spooky . I think he don't like the idea you calling him a looser...
Awesome…. I’m glad you use that carrier sheet I had a lot of problems with the Avery Dark PV…. I’ll try it again
Oh my gosh! I was laughing so hard at the skeleton and your reaction. I needed that.🏴☠️💀
Oh yeah and your video was awesome!
Aww thanks Paula! I'm glad you got a kick out of it 🤩
I just bought DTV and someone said that you need to let the ink dry for 24 hours or place in under a heat press (not closed) for 5 mins. Also they said to let the image sit on the transfer sheet for 24 hrs before weeding.
Thanks Michael! Another great tutorial!
Enjoyed your tutorial. I hope this is not a dumb question. but can it be cut on the Silhouette?
how well did it work in the wash?
This reminds me printable paper for light and dark. How is it different and how does it launder?
I can't use a transfer sheet on this? The lady I bought it from said it's no diffrent than an htv pattern transfer???? I'm about to use it and don't wanna waste it. TIA love watching you!!
Thanks, Michael! I'm new to your channel and loving it. I'm ordering the DTV tomorrow.
😢Good luck, I tried today and it was out of stock!
Same, finished watching and ran to buy some and out of stock
There was another tutorial earlier in day by design bundles, I’m sure it got bought out during that video.
do you have to use the siser mask with this? can you use regular transfer paper?
could we use the mask that we use for easy subli? thanks
Terrific, can’t wait to get my hands on this product.
How well does it wash ? How many washes ? I want to use it too
Thank you soooo much for your videos! I just got the Siser DTV and came to your video. Love that you are so genuine that you leave in your "mistake" about using a dark shirt and with the skeleton falling down 2x! So funny but so authentic! Thank you for being you. Just hope mine comes out anywhere near your beautiful designs. Do have one question though, my design has white letters and not sure whether the print and cut will cut them out because when I go as far as the mat, don't see the letters outlined like it is going to cut them. Think I might try just plain paper first to see what happens instead of messing up the expensive stuff. If you know, would love your input. Thanks again!
I know you said you can't use the regular clear transfer. have you tried it though?
OK Great! Thanks for sharing this. How many washes do we get before it starts to look bad? Wondering about actual durability vs what they promise...
Oh my gawd, the skeleton....lol..bwahaha. 😆
Love this video, Michael, thank you so much for the information!😁
Glad you enjoyed it Thanks for watching Terah! :)
You are my favorite! What type of heat press are you using? Also, does the DTV feel heavy on the shirt? I used printable HTV one time; and couldn’t stand the way it felt.
I just became aware of DTF then found this video for DTV so thanks for showing. Sorry but I can't stop laughing every time I think of your face with the skeleton. ❤️
any tips to making the material stick to the TTD?? each time using siser TTD it doesnt want to stick to the TTD and I am fighting with putting it on there.
This looks very intriguing. I would love to see a break-down of the cost of the DTV vs sublimation. Would it be more feasible to use the DTV for small projects and use sublimation for larger projects? Just wondering.
Probably depends on where you live. Here in Australia they cost $40 a pack (5 sheets) so I will only use them on dark fabrics and use sublimation on white fabric as more cost efficient for me
Is it true if we get membership we can use anything and not worry about licensing or copyright
Thanks Michael. What kind of heat press do you use?
I'm so upset I missed the premier and the chat with all my MCP family.
Do you have a schedule of when you are live taping the videos? I am watching them on youtube and can't ask questions as they are previously taped. thanks
What setting do I set my Maker at to cut the design?
@Mr. Crafty Pants I have an Epson printer but its a workforce pro and it doesnt have the photo matte paper media type. Is there another media type you recommend?
Super cute 🥰
Thank you! 🤗
Do you mirror the image? Thsnks
Oh man, that skeleton wanted all the attention! 😂 Love your videos!! 🧡
Can I use these transfers on a mouse pad that is for sublimation?
Hi thanks for the video, what type of ink you use regular our sublimination ink?
Game changer! Can the heat mask be reused?
So for this I could use a regular printer for printing the design? 🤔 i have a canon inkjet printer. I really don’t know much about this stuff 😅.
Praying *so* hard that Cricut will increase the 6.75x9.25 ptc limitation!!! 🙏
LOL! 🤩
Thank you for the tutorial!!! I am learning ton!!! Quick question.. is that sublimation ink?? Or do I need to use other types of ink for that HTV???
Regular inkjet printer.
Is there anything like this that will work on a Color Laser Printer?
I quit buying ink for my injet once I had a Laserjet and Sublimation printer. I actually have the injet in a recycle pile right now. Please tell me I don't need to dig it out and buy ink for it again!
When do you use the the the transfer mask
Do we need to wait for the ink to dry a while before heat pressing it after it printing?
You had a much better result with the loose pieces then I did applying the mask. When I was doing it it keep picking up the pieces off the mat before I got close enough to apply the mask. Any idea how to help with this or what I am doing wrong.
I’m in the same boat! I tried sooo many times
Can you use Siser Easy Sable mask instead of the TTD? I really don't want to have to buy something else!
Is it a must to use that transfer paper is this considered pattern htv?
Do you need to use a special heat mask? Or can I use heat mask I already have I used on pattern vinyl?
can we use it with a sublimation printer? is it working only with inkjet?
Thanks for this. This is a game changer.
Hello is the transfer material reusable?
Love the designs! Were the shirts cotton, poly, or a blend? Also, I’m curious how it feels on the shirt. Skelly falling startled me so much! Thanks for the video!
The shirts were cotton, from what I understood, as it's not sublimation. This is the alternative to "sublimate" on non polyester clothings.
