    Beautiful. I was so glad seeing this man winning the Tchaikovsky competition. He really deserved it. In my opinion he also was the true winner of the Chopin Competition - he is worlds apart from Avdeeva or Wunder in his musicality: he really feels the music he is playing and becomes a part of it. you can hear and see this. At the same time his interpretations are always honest and heartfelt, without any unneccessary exaggerations. He appears with an amazing modesty also.

    Trifonov is one of the only pianists, who is able to give importance to all the voices. If you are hearing to the bass or to the hidden middle voice, he always give a sense and creates long lines. Even in Chopin's etudes, which are technically so challenging.

      TRIFONOV is one of the 21st century's APEX PERFORMERS, of which there are quite a number, but not as many as the millions of pianists who are classical music pianists throughout the world in universities, concert venues, chamber music societies affiliations, etc.
      These Apex Performers set the standards for musicianship, technique, skill, devotion and perfection for the rest of the pianistic herd to learn from, emulate and "deify", as it were, in our present time and century.

    Some of the freest, most elegant, sensitive, individualized playing of these etudes I've ever heard in sixty-odd years of listening. It's as though he were born to play Chopin.
    He even LOOKS a great deal like Chopin, albeit a sturdier version.
    Another of many wonderful artists playing before the public today.
    It's so ironic: Instrumentalists and singers keep getting better and better as audiences shrink and grow increasingly indifferent to the glies of serious music.
    God bless you, Daniil!

    Dear Daniil Trifonov you are a true inspiration and a truly genius. Your performance is not just a performance, i can see
    all of your emotions when you're playing the piano. Your energy and all the emotions bring Chopin back to life, i could create various scenes in my mind like if i saw a movie of Chopin when you're performing the pieces.
    I could also feel your emotions like if Chopin went into your body and came through you back to life and performed on the piano through you. There are alot of great pianists out there and they all will play with a master skill all these pieces, but you IT'S YOU that has something that nobody has. You bring on the table things that not everyone can bring.

    • @jakobhedman836
      @jakobhedman836 3 роки тому +3

      @@onlyfacts3101 they are very demanding as the ”etude” is a piece meant to develope technique. Essentially he shows up and shows that he masters 12 extraordinary difficult techniques. On top of that he shows his mature sense of musicality at the same time. And this is live (imagine the pressure!).
      The etudea by chopin are very popular because they combine the technical difficulty with musicality, making them pleasant to listen to and practice.

    From the moment he began - not even 55 seconds into the performance - I knew I was in the presence of greatness. The first etude was extraordinary alone. So much so as to eclipse even Rubinstein. The F minor was of wings tipped of silver. Each etude thereafter was no less beautiful, no less exquisitely conceived. There is such complete accord here between all components . Utterly flawless work! To say even "Bravo" seems harsh in the face of such beauty, but bravo......Bravo!

      webernpiano Cliburn made me cry whenever I watch his performance of the Tchaikovsky 1 in moscow on utube(1962) when the entire Russian crowd stormed the stage with tons of flowers. I think Cliburn may have a big effort in lessening the tension between the US and the former Soviet. And for that, he deserved far more credit. I love him. I LOVE the way he looks directly at the conductor during the final bars of the Tchaikovsky 1 in 1962, 4 years after he made the moscow audience fall in love with him when he won the Tchaikovsky competition in 1958. Still, to me, the most emotionally and technically satisfying performance of the Tchaikovsky 1 is Stanislav Ioudenitch when he tied with Olga Kern in the Cliburn competition. I think he should have won it outright. I have never heard the Tchaikovsky played with as much bravura and emotion as his. He's a wonderful family man who chose his family rather than an international career. I do bless him for that, though.

    This might be one of the most beautifully-voiced performance of the etudes I've heard. Especially noticeable in 1, the middle section of 5, and 7. Masterful performance by Trifonov.

  • @wots72
    @wots72 11 років тому +9

    His every phrase sings, his rhythms dance. His sense of balance in sonority is uncanny. Trifonov possesses a delicacy of touch and commands a range of tone colour rarely seen. Truly remarkable.

  • @benjamincuevaseninde
    @benjamincuevaseninde 10 років тому +45

    -- Il y a une fluidité dans son interprétation qui relève de l'exploit. C'est naturel comme si l'instrument était le prolongement de son corps. Les sons qui s'en dégagent sont clairs, précis, ils prennent un sens et une cohésion rarement reproduits avec une telle conviction et une si grande justesse. Je pense à Alexei Sultanov qui au même âge et avec cette même fougue et cette même envie exécutait les œuvres de Chopin à l'envie et de manière parfaite, innée. Daniil Trifonov est un pianiste peut-être plus impressionnant encore. Espérons qu'il garde cette fraicheur tout au long de sa carrière. Il fait déjà parti des plus grands pianistes de ce début de XXIe siècle. --

    • @Khamomil
      @Khamomil 10 років тому +7

      Oui, il est vraiment exceptionnel, il rend intelligibles des pièces compiquées parce qu'il garde toujours le fil conducteur de la mélodie même quand elle est enfouie comme un petit ruisseau sous la végétation foisonnante des arpèges et des accords.

    • @nathanqi1998
      @nathanqi1998 4 роки тому +1

      Bien sûr! Je suis complètement d'accord avec votre commentaire! Un mot que j'utiliserais pour décrire Trifonov, c'est son originalité! Les autres pianistes jouent bien, mais ils n'ont pas ces qualités...mais j'adore la fraîcheur de ses interprétations!

    Here is youthful and exuberant greatness to experience. Trífonov plays these etudes wonderfully, and thoroughly inhabits them, making each phrase his own, even as they resonate with the stylings of other great players before him. I mean that in a profound way for one so young, because I’ve been listening to and playing these works for many, many decades. I’ve heard it all, yet this young man’s performances made me take interest from the beginning, sustaining that interest until the last note had faded. He makes you forget that these are, after all, etudes. That means they are designed to work out certain technical problems, and every one of them is what you could call... well... hard to play. Chopin was a genius, so he was able to work those etudes into musical ideas rather than mere mechanical studies, but it takes a player who can lose themselves in the music without losing their focus on the technique. It was a total delight to hear Trifonov’s fascination with his own ability to create these lines, these voices that cohere and flow in and out of each other, right there in his hands. In the pursuit of authenticity or tradition we often forget that music is also discovery and awe right there in the moment as you attempt to create life, to pour it right into this complex mechanical device, and you hear it working, the voices congealing into song. This man really gets it, and he makes no disingenuous attempts to hide those emotions he’s generating. It’s refreshing! I hope to hear more of his playing.
