What a beautiful woman ..... I have just discovered Patti Smith (August 2023)(from 2016 Bob Dylan's Literature Award on U-Tube) ....... This is a deeply spiritual lady .... I am now a believer .... This Lady has so much soul ......... just listen to her words ...........and ... I'm 78 .......... where have I been these past fifty years .............Thank you U-tube ........Thank you such a wonderful Lady.
If our Gods .... created WOMAN ...............this is what he wanted in the 'Garden of Eden" ...........what a creation ... Thank you This Wonderful Creation .... as we females such admire ....and now I am just beginning to admire such a beautiful creature .........Live on baby girl ........I can't ... just stop listening and Admiring (can I say 'worshipping') such an Inspiration to All our young people ...... Thank You, Patti Smith .... I missed out for many years, but NOW I have found You ............ such a small word as gratitude .............
We saw The Patti Smith group at Winterland in San Francisco 3 months before it closed. The Jam opened. What a fabulous night it was . 2 hours And 20 minutes of maximum Rock "n" Roll from Patti and her band . I'll never forget there was a black grand piano on left of stage and was moved near center stage for last song Gloria , Patti had put on a top hat and for the last half of the song she got up on that piano, band was going nuts with the crowd and the last minute the house lights went on , Patti was rocking on top of that piano. I was 17, something I'll never forget.
Here is an example of how one human being can stay cohesive and creative well over half century. No deteriorating at all. She is she all the time, surprisingly and pleasantly so. I also have to say about Lenny, he is almost identical to Patti, a sort of guardian angel to her.
.... breath the movements, inhale the beauty ... what a wonderful Lady .... ..... and also her Band are so unique ... love the Suit on the her back-up guitarist and that other handsome back-up Singer ........... there is south vibration ......... just such a great great Lady ............. thank you ......... finding my energy again (at 78 yrs) ........ truly in Admiration
I have attended over 25 Patti concerts but two years ago my Patti friends disowned me over a ticket dispute over Royal Albert Hall. I thought the original date was a month later than it was but no one told me. I'm sad that I have not been to concert 26. I was blacklisted by friends but I still love Patti. Thank you Larry!
Hey is it Brooklyn Vegan! Well - Patti Smith - I have been listening to you since 1975 and I am 15 years younger than you and I adore this show - always in NYC - come to DC again
A late happy birthday to you, Patti. I am 8 and a third years younger than you (approximately) and have had you in my life sing I was about 23 ... I discovered you in 1978. And you have stayed with me providing such fierce and passionate beauty. Thank you. And thank you, Larry Ruiz, for sharing this.
Horses is about pedophilia anal rape of a young teenage boy. I dont think she is a greart as you say. Some of her songs have beauty and good music, but alot of it is just her own thoughts and feelings, nothing to idolize. She i strong in her own right, but it isn't for everybody.
She’ 😊 I remember hearing her sing at a friends first time.. in the ‘80’s and she still goes strong 🎉🎉🎉❤❣️🎶🌻🌺🌹🌷Great song Happy Birthday @thisispattysmith Lovely low voice!!!
I saw Patti Smith for the first time around 1978, in Asbury Park, where she opened for the Ramones. Her performances remain electric and passionate - I am a forever fan!
I really love the person that I think you are. Just Kids-I loved. You are now a grown woman. Lyric voice, poetic melody, soulful energy, sharing thoughts supremely! I heart you!
I JUST finished Just Kids...it went straight through my soul...I used to run around NYC in the 80's...from NY, but went to art school in the south. I can see the places she describes. It's hard to describe how this written masterpiece makes me feel....
She was my biggest inspiration for almost 50 years ago. And I'm been with her since then. Feels like an old friend in mind and heart ❤🙏❤️ continuing to give and sharing the best of life essentials…
Thank you so much Patti ! I was just watching one of her concerts in Sweden from 1977 (!!!). Still the same energy (and the same moves). One of the greatest artists of our time, gives me hope in these hard times today.
Pure spirit. Not a number, old or young. Pure expression. Amazing concert !!! (As good as when I saw her in 1979 in Ann Arbor ?) God, I wish I was there.
DEC 29 WAS THE BEST IVE SEEN UP TO THAT POINT. JACKSON SMITH PLAYED SOME OF THE BEST LEAD GUITAR IVE EVER SEEN.. BUT HERE'S THE THING... THE DEC 30 SHOW WAS EVEN BETTER... GO FIGURE... COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS SEEING....
Happy Birthday dear lady ... Thankyou for your free spirit and your inspiration ...wesome band ...it would have been so great to be there . Thanks for putting this up ... Happy New year and peace to all
Saw PSG at CBGB theater shortlived at 2nd Ave and 4th NYC Dec 1977 right before NYE. Met BROOOOCE in the fire exit about to hop on stage to premier B the N with the band. What a nice guy he was friendly and decent. Then saw them again when B the Night was peaking up in W Hartford in this weird wooden log house. It was the era unfortunatately of Corp rock. They of course stood out. Wonderful

She is such a gentle being. Silence Speaks but when she opens her mouth dreams come forward. I have loved this woman for decades.......No wonder Robert loved her so much. Their love was beyond sexual intimacy, friendship, gender, sexual identity. What they had we r all looking for.

She was born the day before New Year's Eve? Ohh-no wonder!! (Sidenote: Opened for the Ramones in New Jersey in 1978? Didn't know they were that hip down there then, musta been when everything/anything sporting the New black&white was "new wave".) Happy birthday girl!

Великая панкерша, в 76 как в юности жжет.. "кланяется" как в 1978....ни одной ноты не слажала. Респект и поклонение, маза фака, вискарь мне в душу!
YOU ARE GOOD LOOKING AND FIT FOR YOUR YEARS WITH YOUR BAND YOU ARE THE BEST
Patti , I’ve loved you for all my life , since I’ve been 16 . 60 years old know , still there .
