I have paid for Pixinsight, but I have also donated to several projects when able. We are very lucky to have such geniuses making our hobby easier, and our more modest equipment so capable with automation, plate-solving, processing, etc.
awesome job pal! especially for a DSLR! excellent proof that you can get good results on a budget! i too am an old dinosaur who refuses to pay for software especially when you consider the taxes in here ... hard enough getting all the fittings to make the gear work and then some other stuff is always needed so jury-rigging is kinda norm ... I'd rather get a 3d printer for that kind of dosh .... excellent image mate!!
Thank you @Whyf16uy I appreciate the work you have put in here. It was really informative, and I think you did compete 😊 I’m also a guy trying to get reasonable(ish) images on a budget and I’m learning a great deal from yourself and the other dedicated folks on UA-cam, great work sir! As a-side do you still use the SV305 pro? I’m considering it as a guider/planetary while I use an old DSLR for my main images.
Really excellent image and editing skills, great to see what can be done without selling a kidney for software, thanks for taking the time to make these videos

Agree whole heartedly. I stand on the shoulders of giants. Free is nice but we can't forget those people need to eat also, so if we can help...
HaHa! Love the shirt! Thanks for the shout-out!
It's funny cause it's true, and anytime. You are my hero :)
That's brilliant you got to be happy with that.
I'm getting better
