way too much noise at that price. might as well buy the dji or rode with better audio quality.

Amazon For a SINGLE receiver and mic is only $165.00 TOTAL steal of a price and I'm getting one now before it goes up. What is the brand of the POP mic because that is for a fact what I'm getting. The quality is off the charts when you plugged that in LOVED it.

If you wanted to record professional sound (like on a film set) with wireless mics you would choose something like lectrosonics, for a variety of reasons, all of which are related to the need for the audio to never cut out or sound anything other than perfect at any time, regardless of situation. Analog transmission, connectors that screw in and can't pop out, high transmission power, selectable frequency channels with noise scanning, remote level control, super high quality electronics, tough chassis, water resistant, etc. etc. You couldn't risk using something like the one in this video, you would be guaranteed interference and cutouts, a short working life, and additionally the sound quality won't be quite as high with this at the best of times. On lower budget stuff you might be ok with Sennheiser G3/G4 but that's a compromise and will create problems for you on set that will at least slow things down. If you're a creator working alone or with a tiny crew for UA-cam stuff where the content won't end up on TV or in a theatre, a 15 minute stoppage for troubleshooting won't eat up thousands of dollars, and the sound quality doesn't matter quite so much to your audience, in that case you can afford to use these, recording in a small zoom or a camera. If you go any cheaper than this you'll get junk. A professional sound rig cost of tens of thousands of dollars, the wireless systems making up between a few grand and a 5 figure sum of this. It's not easy technology to get right so if 300 dollars bothers you I recommend you just buy a shitty lav mic and record straight to a phone. Because 300 dollars is cheap as hell for a wireless system.

I have been shopping for a wireless lapel mic. Reluctant to pay the big dollars for Rode or DJI although I know they are good.
Your review on the LensGo was interesting. The external recoding feature what really tweaked my interest. Does this give me the capability of recording without the camera operating? In other words I could record narration and wild sound even when I don't want the camera running?

would suggest looking at the Blue yeti mini (100$), or Blue snowball (50$)… theyre great (and small) usb mics that work great for voiceovers and stuff like that. im sure theres others out there- but those are ones ive tried personally and found great quality in

Thanks for directing me here. The Lensgo seems pretty good. Is it true that it you turn your back on the receiver it cuts out? i.e. it needs line of sight to stay connected?

No not the lensgo, it’s pretty good! But the ride wireless go 2 is super reliable as well!

@@KurtisandChelsey I just saw a video review that shows the Lensgo cut-out live when he turns his back on the receiver. The Lensgo range is about 1/4 of the Rode which suggests to me the Rode is way less likely to cut out when losing line of sight.

"I'm a realtor in Lethbridge" *looks up whether there is a Lethbridge in the US* Well, hello there for up North!
My questions are as follow: Someone on amazon wrote "the backup to an SD card is sampled at 44.1khz as opposed to 48khz. Most video cameras record at 48khz, which makes syncing audio to a camera while editing impossible. The audio from this recorder will drift every minute or so, so lips won't sync with dialogue. " Now, I'm not knowledgeable enough on this but it makes me worried that syncing audio is going to be a nightmare. Do you find that is true on your end as well or maybe an issue with this particular purchase the commenter made?
Do you have any recommendations for lavalier microphones to plug into the LensGo? I'm guessing they are not all the same and the Lensgo doesn't seem to come with any. I would prefer to hide this bulky clip-on, and as I could hear, it seemed to pick up some noise (a semi-high SHHHH sound).
Lastly, did LensGo give you any discount code? :)
    Thank you!
