Thank you-I love roses. It was wonderful when I first sent roses to my husband when we got engaged. At the time he thought he was the one who gives flowers, so his surprise and delight was great! Now we give each other flowers for all and any occasion. 🥰

And I was lucky enough to find an old Singer thrifting that cleaned up nicely and could do a decent straight stitch if needed. Thank you for taking time to organize and film and edit! One of my friends has part of a rose bush enclosed in a plastic case...after her mother passed away, and the little farmhouse she lived in for 70 years was to be sold, they found an old deserted bird's nest deep in the rose bush that had long strands of her mother's white hair entwined in it. They just couldn't leave it, so cut out that part of the old rose bush to keep. It sounds a bit strange, but is truly lovely. I wish roses lasted longer after they are cut!

My mum loved Roses so when she passed away in August last year 2020 I had to bring her roses home to my place. One of mum’s Rose is a Champagne colour and I think it’s stunning.

My dear grandmother had a gorgeous Cherokee rose plant in her yard. Whenever I see one, I am instantly reminded of her.
