If Toyota has any sense, they won’t mess too much with the exterior design. If they want to improve the RAV4, give us a body on frame construction with more powerful engine choices.

Turbo engines simply put less reliability and higher repair costs.

I agree. It’s a false saving over a normally aspirated 4 or 6 cylinder engine. For instance, the GM brands eliminated 2-valve V-8 engines and replaced them with 4-valve V-6 turbocharged & inter cooled engines. Where’s the parts savings? And they have no improvement in gas mileage.
