I still own a 306 Rallye, have done since 2001, makes me smile everytime I drive it.
I've owned mine since 2007 and I still love mine. I haven't driven it 2 years now but I will have that smile back on my face very soon lol

used to drive when i was young a 205 rally a 306 rally and a 306 Gti6 ,this was the best cars i drove.and the 306 was the best.if i ever became rich,i will buy 2 306 from some rally garage again for fun XD

Yes haha it's a 1.9d with 68bhp although i dont think it still has all 68 of it lol, still fun on windy roads

Mine was a “D turbo” which I tuned and reprogrammed to close to 200hp. Those engines were absolutely legendary...

Sef B Well, if you have a street version you can try to make it alike, with some group A or N spec full exhaust (manifold to rear pipe) and a proper air cold intake. But it wont ever sound like this beast! They have a completely different engine under the hood =)
+Sef B Impossible. Need race engine race gearbox
+LazyRock They dont have a completely different engine under the hood, the regulations restrained people from doing it. They ran by the f2000 class rules. A maximum of 2 liters, and had to run with stock block and pistons.
GTI6 has the close ratios to make it sound great going up the gears. With the right exhaust as per what +Lazyrock was saying the sound becomes awesome. Ours has a high flow "noisy" exhaust that really adds to driving appeal. Even though it's harder work, i prefer it over our VW R36 for involvement and for the fact it is manual.
Mostly individual throttle bodies, uprated exhaust manifold, more aggressive intake, sequential straight cut gearbox and a straight through exhaust. Probably a whole host of other things, but those are the main ones.
Funny how "turbo" the exhaust sound for a N/A inline 4 engine. Intake sound is more to my liking :]

Dommage qu'ont peut pas rouler sur route ouverte avec sinon certaines marques allemande serait dans le rétro loin derrière....
