1: Its true that Stan Lee himself did plan to make an American version of Super Sentai. I bet it could of been better then Hiam Saban's version.
2: I rally hope that Bandai would make minipla figures of the Zyurangers, Gaorangers, Abarangers, Gekirangers, Kyoryugers, and Zyuohgers that just as cool and stylish as Sun Vulcans!

Literaly the reveal of the gogo v minipla made the sentai fandom go crazy in japan and a big chunks of nations in asia
They just exploded and now people are wanting more team going so far as requesting extra members and characters

Wish I thought of that for this vid. I can add it to a vlog... they're a little taller than Star Wars figures, by maybe a head, but, they do fit in Star Wars vehicles pretty nicely.

I did some simple math these break down to around $33 each, which is what a GI Joe figure with similar articulation and accessories would cost in 2020

I remember Sun Vulcan was the new Super Sentai Series since 1981.
Man im so glade they did this and hope they continue, im a collector of figures of this size and slick hated when they too the power rangers we had from around this size to 5 inch again, i hope they continue with all sets

Well, for 6 inches you're probably looking at Hasbro's line. These guys are tiny.
Excellent review of the Shodo figs. I have only bought the Ultraman Shodo stuff and was pleasantly surprised when I first got them, even though their backs are not painted, they are good figs. I recommend the figures.

I know a lot of people will not appreciate this or ask repetitive questions that you put in the description every SINGLE time; but I really appreciate this video. I am still on the fence about ordering the GoGo V figures but I deff didn't understand how small the scale was.
This time, even I didn't realize they were so tiny until I started comparing. Surprised to see they were smaller than the candy toy figures. But, they're a good shelf size.

Sun Vulcan was originally considered to be the 1st Sentai to be adapted into Power Rangers by Saban, but that never happened (the same also was true for Bioman and Jetman).
I dont think thats correct it was actually just Bioman and Jetman. I remember hearing years ago about Saban being interested in Sun Vulcan but have never seen anything supporting it so it may have just been Marvel

I wish I knew about these figures sooner! Sun Vulcan was actually the first super sentai season I watched after finishing Gokaiger. I remember when it was the oldest season fully fan subbed for the longest time. Now look where we are, several seasons have gotten official DVDs in the west, with possibly more to come, and all but one season isn't fully subtitled in English. I'm gonna have to hunt these figures down. Awesome video as always Bruno, keep up the good work!

Hey Bruno, I got a cool lightning collection suggestion. If you put the blaster effect piece that came with dragon shield black ranger, you can add it to the power blaster to make it look like the rangers fired a shot at the monster. But the big piece of the blaster effect might get in the way of where the power sword is.
Bruno missed the perfect chance to say live long and prosper at the end😆

You’re animation skills are improving
...I know I should just say thank you, and I will... thank you! ...but... we've been professional animators for 25 years. This video has nothing special going on, just a little motion demo. There are far more advanced things happening in other videos on this channel. Mia's been qualified to work on TV shows for decades now (and we used to own a small animation studio in CA). We don't always get to show our best work on a channel that isn't funding the production but, I hope we don't come off as new to this. :) As for me, it's already been 18 years since I worked on Power Rangers, and at the time, I was qualified for the job.
So, the Sun Vulcan figures retailed for about 5500 yen. Just that aftermarket prices bumped them up to around $100. Expect the GoGoV figures to jump to around $150 once they start selling out.
Spindash54 that is cheaper compared to how much they cost in CANADA!! If you pay $100 USD Canadians pay maybe over $150 or even $200 CAD for the same items. Our American Brothers and Sisters are so lucky compared to their Brothers up in The Great White North!

I do agree while these are awesome they can be a bit pricey for what they are. The 5 pack is worth it considering how many come with it. These honestly would be for your displays

Wow, i didn't know they were so tiny but that's impressive that it's so well painted and has all that articulation and accessories. Also not sure if the $100 are worth the figures or not. Maybe this is a case of, if it's worth it for you, you get them if not you just don't

I wish they make a Hyper Shinken Red Candy Toy size figure. That way we have a Kyoryumaru/Shark Saber for Bandai's Hyper Samurai Red
I have the Kamen Rider line of this, SHODO-X, and they scale really really well with Marvel Universe figures
I wish Hazbro would make figures of Sun Vulcan or any Pre-Zyuranger team.

Bandai with its Shodo line is doing classic Kamen Riders & Ultraman, too. These are 'true' candy toys (sold separatly; about 5 bucks !! in Japan; come with a chewing gum) but have the same awesome quality like the SS here.
Normally I’m not a fan of figures this size but I’d definitely make an exception with these just because of how articulated and detailed they are. It’s especially nice to see the GoGo V ones coming out as well. Hopefully they’ll do other Sentai teams. Also, awesome to see that gold Gekitouja/Jungle Pride Megazord! You’re really lucky to have that. Those campaign Sentai items are so hard to come by so to see someone with an item like that is amazing. Ah, I see you have other Sun Vulcan stuff. Does this mean we’ll see more pre-Zyuranger Sentai videos in the future?
These look pretty neat to get, even though it does suck that they don't scale with the Lightning Collection. Was even going to get the GoGoV set, but then I remembered that only the US has the Titanium Ranger...and the Lightspeed team will eventually get figures in that line. Also I think Battle Fever J was a series that would have had some Marvel influences along with Denziman. Now I need to be on the lookout for Marvel Legends Stan Lee

Preordered the set and victory robo from zenmarket! I reckon these are the best things to get to represent a team and megazord compared to other stuff, cause lightning collection will probably take some time to finish some teams or Japanese ranger keys which are a pain to get
Wow those figures are detailed for “candy art figures”. You need to trade mark that and come out with your own line of figures lol. But seriously I am impressed with the detail but price not so much. Now five figures for 100 bucks is still high BUT I understand why you and others bought them because they look fabulous. Great video as always. The name “bling fury” sounds like a name in a tekken video game btw lol.
The entire GoGoV line of Super Minipla and Shodo figures cost me an arm and a leg. But it's worth it.

Have you seen our existing cleaning videos so far? I don't think there's any method I'm aware of that I haven't shared... what kind of chrome? Which toys? The plastic cleaners I use in the videos (linked in our KIT and the cleaning videos) always work for me. But, usually water and a little dish soap is perfectly good... (chrome plastic you mean, right? Not the die-cast metal...?)

Man if I had the money and liked the scale I would consider getting into this line. I'm not a model kit or sticker guy and you could do much fun stuff with how easy they are to take apart and put back together.....but that price, especially in canada

Are the super minipla difficult to build? I want to buy the GogoV zords but I'm afraid because they are expensive.
It depends on how good you are with building them. I would say no, but you need to follow instructions. I'm generally not so good at following instructions, and was very intimidated by the number of pieces. And it does take a while to put them together... but, once I made myself do it, it wasn't difficult, and the more I did, the more I started to actually enjoy putting them together. There are quite a few minipla videos on this channel so far, and I'm sure I'll do another since I have a bunch of new things to build now.

It's tokullectibles, one word. I stumbled upon them a short while back and pre-ordered grand liner. Then I pre-ordered liner boy on okini land the other day. I'm not sure which is better, but it looks like okini is cheaper. But they also can't ship anything now, so I gotta wait for the jaguar Vulcan mini-pla. Don't get why the prices are so much higher here. BBTS really jacks it up
