The one thing I would’ve included in the set, is the thunder slingers.
The fact there are so many stickers and hands to punch out is actually a bonus to me for a set like this. I'd get to take my time at my desk and a set of tweezers making sure everything it PERFECT. Some model building with my figures as a bonus!
Curious, how do you get stickers lined up properly? Like no matter how much I try, I can never get them to line up the way they are supposed to.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork It really is coming down to a good pair of tweezers, a comfortable desk and patience, patience, patience. You're gonna be hunched over them for a WHILE. So get comfy, put on a podcast and enjoy taking your time.
I find I do worse with tweezers than my fingers, not sure why.
Anyway, podcast idea is out because it would be too distracting. When I'm concentrating on a task like that, I need total silence.

Hey, can you tell me what he meant by using nail polish to make the stickers not wear out? Does this also stop them from peeling off?
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork Yep! Find a good, clear nail polish and it basically laminates the sticker to the plastic under the polish layer! And it doesn't smudge since it's all transparent!
Does it have to be any specific clear nailpolish?
Regarding the hands (and this is just a theory), I’ve noticed the bags used for Shokugan products lately has been of a lesser quality. I need to wash my hands after touching them with a weird residue feeling on them. Maybe that’s seeping into the bags or providing improper protection?
I received my Kaku set the other day and have been loving the hell out of them despite the small size. It took me by surprise at how small they actually were after having them in hand, but damn they are a lot of fun. It's also nice that they put all rangers in one box. I'm looking forward to the Dairangers and am considering other teams when they come out (Well, I hope GoGoFive gets rerelease). My biggest hesistation are the stickers, not for the weapons, but for the rangers themselves. I just suck when it comes to lining stickers up.
Not sure I have a desire to get the Zyurangers unless they start doing villains and monsters. I've already given Hasbro a ton of money for this team. 😛
Two questions for you:
1. What do you mean by seal the stickers with nail polish? Wouldn't that just destroy them?
2. Do you happen to know if the weapons from the Super7 Reaction figures would be compatible with these Shodos? Just a thought that popped into my mind.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork Oh snap, I think the Super7 Reaction figure weapons may work. They are the same scale... Ugh I didn't want to buy those but now I may have to buy at least Blue to check.
I know the feeling. They're quite pricey, especially if all you want is a weapon from them. It was a thought I had as I picked up Rito to go with my Kakurangers and he fits in quite well with them even though he's practically a statue. If you do pick up Blue, please let us know how the weapon compares with the Shodo. 🙂
@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork for sure. Most of what I collect is 3.75 scale or 5 PoA so while Reaction stuff should be up my alley, $20 a pop is waaay too steep. Super Shodo was perfect for what I already have and the amount of accessories/hands along with being an import made the overall price a bit easier to accept. But really disappointing the core team's weapons seemingly are meant to be in Power Blaster form and nothing else (except for having the extra axe??). Will try to track down some cheaper options for the Reaction Power Rangers and will definitely update.

I’m trying to get another green Ranger so I can paint it’s upper arm black, ultimately have Black Ranger wear the dragon shield along side red and green, and I can make blue too, even better.
Pr wise I'm not surprised by the Thunder Slingers. They show up once. Did they even show up in more episodes in Zyuranger?
I think more episodes and that’s it
Yes. In Zyuranger after they got the Thunder Slingers they became permenant attachments to the weapons for the rest of the series. In the episode where Lammy traps the rangers in a silk cocoon they use the Ranger Slinger (Gun and Thunder Slinger combo name) to break out of the cocoon. However, in MMPR, because they used that footage before the Thunder Slingers were introduced, they refilmed the interior of the cocoon to have them using the regular blade blasters.
I wish the armbands were attachable armor
This set make me want the remastered red and green even more since the shield will easily swapable.

Most of the show is on the Power Rangers kids UA-cam channel for free, I don't think it's region locked or anything

Makes sense for TyrannoRanger and DragonRanger to be on one side cause Geki and Burai are brothers
I wish they released figure of the Zyurangers but wearing their casual clothes since they never removed their helmets in the show in contrast to Power Rangers.
I collect figure rise standard Kamem Rider figures and the seem better than these Shodo. Are they the same scale?
They are not, those are 6 inch figures, these are 3.75 inch
Id imagine the yellowing might be to represent the gardener gloves they used around the time
Even the Lightning figures have a yellowing to them.
