That would be awesome. Allow PVE and PVP along with group multi-player. You can have groups of players controlling the individual Zords(not sure how it would work after you've combined into the Megazord), for Zord VS. Zord combat.
We Power Rangers fans lost many gems in this 30 years of journey. Thuy, Jason, Pua and many stars left their legacy 😞😞😞 Thanks to make our childhood awesome ❤️❤️❤️ We miss you 💝💝💝
My brother and I had the Sega Genesis version of "MMPR: The Movie" and he and I would always fight over who would play which ranger and zord. Sweet memories.
The Mega Drive/Genesis version of MMPR: The Movie was definitely the best version of that game. The Gamegear version was pretty good too, though for some reason had a smaller roster than the original MMPR Gamegear game, including only two zords instead of three. The Nintendo versions (both SNES & GB) of the two titles were all pretty bad. They didn't even bother to do different graphics for each Ranger, they're all just recoloured Reds. Well MMPR (not the movie version) on SNES was alright, it had nice Megazord battles and fun combat. But the movie version on SNES was just a lame one-hit system and didn't even feature the Zords. At least Nintendo made up for it with The Fighting Edition, which was pretty excellent, and ALL about the zord battles.
Yes, I use to play the Game Gear and Fighting Edition lots of times as a kid and teen. It took me a while to beat Ivan Ooze, but once I mastered blocking, I defeated him many times.
The Power Ranger brand had it’s mix of good and disappointing video games but you can’t help but admit that the late Jason David Frank played a significant role getting that franchise as to how it still plays a role in pop culture for nearly 30 years. Very hard the process how shocking passing may “Tommy Oliver” R.I.P
Lol, he barely helped the franchise going after his initial departure. You need to thank Bandai for making new Super Sentai series in Japan for Saban to adapt into the American show more than an overrated actor from the show itself.
@@peterlee6374 so what? he's overrated AF and he DIDN'T make the franchise what it is today, dipshit the franchise wouldn't exist without Super Sentai, NOT because of him
The Genesis version of Power Rangers the Movie is better than the SNES; it may not have an unmorphed part but every Ranger is actually unique and not just a color swapped red ranger, the story follows the movie but also includes the Scarlett Sentinel and the trip to the Deserted Planet for the Sword of Light, not to mention it includes amazing Genesis versions of Ron Wasserman's soundtrack from the show.
Facts, and MMPR on SNES ( though only one player) was better than the Movie Game on SNES. MMPR the movie on Genesis is my all time favorite Power Rangers game.
The one thing that you forgot to mention about Ryu and Chun-Li's guest appearances is that they even have their own Ranger forms called the Crimson Hawk and the Blue Phoenix
We've lost enough Rangers to form an entire team in the stars now. We all miss you so goddamn much Jason. You were an inspiration, an icon, a legend but mostly, to all of us you were a HERO. Give Thuy a hug from us all. May the Power protect you, rest easy buddy 💚🩶💛
I honestly think we need another Zord fighting game like Fighting Edition. Battle for the Grid is great but man I’d love to fight with the Zords! RIP JDF, a legend in his own right!
MMPR The Movie on Sega Genesis is my personal favorite Power Rangers game and I'm shocked they choose the SNES version instead of the Sega Genesis version.
I’ve always wanted a Lego power rangers video game. Not confident it will ever happen I just think it’d be really unique and cool to see what they could do with it.
Dude, Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition actually has a pretty sick concept now that I look at it. Megazords vs Megazords sounds awesome and I don't know why I see enough of it. Like how sick would be to see a bunch megazord from all across the franchise like Mighty Morphin to whatever the current one is, heck you can even put the movie megazord in there too. Just seeing only like 5 to 6 megazord in that particular game from mighty Morphin alone, you can go crazy with adding more megazord from like Zeo, Turbo, In Space, heck even giant megazords like pyramitus and Super Train Megazord from Lightspeed.
Where is the original mighty morphin power rangers for the Snes.. it started it all and had great fighting machincs for the rangers and the zords... also that wicked sound track was untouchable
All ima say is, some of those retro games should be in the top 4 spots. I tried battle for the grid and that shit was hard cuz the controls arent like normal fighting game controls. I couldnt even get past the tutorial lol
No honorable mentions? Slacking. You forgot Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on snes, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie on Genesis, and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on Genesis deserved its own entry.
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers for the GameBoy was also great. It was the first time that you could actually fight Rita Repulsa. The downside was that using the Power Rangers' weapons or the Megazord's sword lightning strike drained their life energy meters and was disabled when they were a hit away from defeat.
In mighty morphin power rangers the movie you could input codes that would put at different moments in the game. I still remember 0707 and 1212 one was Zord battle and one was a fight against a wolf. Classic
These video games have brought you to dedicate and honor the legendary green/white/2reds/black ranger who made pr so great today. R.I.P DR TOMMY OLIVER
You know what I find amazing about the power ranger series. Is that despite obviously being based on the super sentai series in Japan, it became so popular in the west that it continues to expand upon the ranger universe through games and comic. Especially in the comic, the adventure continues in either the main universe or alternate one. Hell, they even create an original ranger villain lord draken. I mean even the original power rangers we know are not the first super sentai, but they became so iconic that we still see them in comics. It's kind of amazing. While in Japan they like just do some crossover here and there but almost nothing else to really expand more on the sentai universe. Of course I could be wrong.
I mean not wrong there, super sentai each season aside from the usual team up crossovers and anniversary specials, super sentais seasons are basically its own separate story with very little connections from past seasons, which isn't bad at all, there's just no lore that combines them all together
Of course while power rangers is basically the American adaptation of SS, they do create and expand their own lore across all 30 seasons, of course the biggest example is the morphing grid which is the foundation of all the rangers powers
@@patrickzalatoris3206 exactly. I mean the US was even able to make three power rangers movie not only without issues but also make you feel it is it’s own story.
As a certified Legacy Wars player since last year. I've got to say the game holds up well: it has a fun combat system, plenty of rangers and villains to fight with, owing to the brand's expansive universe, which makes for quite the novelty package for ranger fans, young and old, and whilst it can be challenging, it's also free-to-play friendly, so long as you stick to events and challenges. The Pass itself is affordable too, which allows players access to new skins and taunts each month. (It's also the quickest way to earn legendaries when you first start. I'm working my way up to unlock Kamdor, currently.) The only downside is the characters are a little unbalanced when facing each other and it can make certain characters like Skye disadvantageous to use, since Blaze can intercept a lot of his attacks without delay nowadays. Aside from that, when it first launched, the game had a nasty habit of kicking players randomly from matches, risking them the medal points, or simply closing out of the blue for no discernible reason. (The latter was patched. But the former, alongside the unresponsive inputs on occasions can cost you a lot or matches.) Aside from that, the developers sometimes toss in actual villains, or heroes with unique movesets as skins. (Which isn't necessarily a problem, but it can be annoying for us as fans.)
I'd honestly switch the SNES movie version for the tv version or the Sega movie version. The SNES version had like nothing to do with the movie except the last boss fight. At least the Sega version tried to follow the movie and it also had Co-op
You forgot Power Rangers Zeo Vs The Machine Empire for the PC or whatever in 1996, which is one of my favourite Power Rangers video games ever!! Excellent visuals (including live action parts) and excellent music!!
6:11 Imagine if Mega Battle was more like TMNT: Shredder's Revenge lol Also, I love the very first Power Rangers beat 'em up on the SNES, even though it was only for 1 player. It had some good music. Hopefully Digital Eclipse can do a compilation with all the old Power Rangers games from the SNES, Genesis, Gameboy, etc, all together in one package just like the Cowabunga Collection
Even is not in the list but my favourite Power Rangers games would had to be the Power Rangers Dino Thunder in PS2 where you play as not the rangers but zords itself. There is unlockable zords for other franchise like Ninja Storm and Wild force and also can be playable as well
MMPR: The Fighting Edition looks and feels like Gundam Wing: Endless Duel. Never played the former but wow, little did I know one of my fav SNES games was a re-skinned MMPR game.
Some of these games I've never seen but I'm a little disappointed that Power Rangers for sega Genesis didn't make this list also the for supernintendo where you play both human and power ranger where everybody looks like they're jacked and built
It was disappointing that no actual Rangers from Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Wildforce, Ninjastorm, Dino Thunder, Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury, RPM, Dino Charge, Ninja Steel were added to Battle for the Grid. Also not giving Red Zeo and Black Dino Ranger outfits as extra costumes for Tommy, not giving Triny her traditional yellow ranger outfit, not adding Billy and Zack.
Sound like you have a nostalgic problem some of your expectations make sense but some don’t why have ninja storm and ninja adam?? Yea there different but in a game not much you could do to not make them too similar…why have billy when they have sena blue and same for zack with the sentinel why put in worse versions of characters how would andros be different from quantum or carter be different from spd red……They may come with a different suit but it’s the same thing a blaster a sword type weapon and A battlizer maybe
@@mixingwithjpdeville They could have just given Zack's original Ranger form as a alternative outfit for the sentinel and Trini's orginal Ranger form as a alternative outfit for the ugly Armoured Yellow Ranger. As they did with Kimberly being an alternative outfit for The Ranger Slayer.
The super nintendo beat em up game that wasn't movie related was really good. I was suprised to not see it here. The 2 original gameboy gakes were pretty good too.
I swear this is ironic as hell. I was literally just playing the MMPR fighting edition on SNES last night! One of the best fighting games ever mad imo.
I am surprised super megaforce for the 3ds is not in there, a side scroller that contained multiple rangers from the first to the super mega force, plus all suits that were played by Jason David Frank had his fighting shouts that he was famous for during his various roles
I had the classic MMPR game for Sega Genesis, that came out in 94, Best one hands down. If they evolved that to a remake or did somethin similar to DBZ kakarot , it’d be pretty badass.

Absolutely, battle for the grid is number one. Even if you are not a PR fan fighting game fans should check it out
Oh God I played the HELL out of Dino Thunder GBA, Time Force, and Dino Thunder PS2. LOVE these.
That being said, HOW DID I MISS THE SPD GBA GAME!?!?
I'm fond of Time Force, Wild Force, and Dino Thunder for the GBA and Super Legends for the DS!
The original SNES Power Rangers should have been on the list.
I had the Dino thunder game for my game boy when I was a kid I was terrible at it but I still loved it
I had the classic MMPR game for Sega Genesis, that came out in 94, Best one hands down. If they evolved that to a remake or did somethin similar to DBZ kakarot , it’d be pretty badass.
Dang I was waiting for Power Rangers: Light Speed Rescue for Playstation 1. Great game!
