    is it easy to replace to the Wi-Fi antenna piece on this device?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  2 місяці тому

      @@HermanMartz it’s not bad, most antennas are built into the plastic midframe pieces and those are cheap. But replacing the WiFi module on the board is quite a bit harder

    Wait what is that glue thingie you use for the frame?

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  3 роки тому

      3M Tape Primer. It creates a rough surface for adhesive to stick to, gives it a very strong grip and sometimes allows the factory adhesive to be reused

      @@TapticDigital What if I use liquid glue? Does it help in any way?

    • @TapticDigital

      @@davidschulmann2794 bit risky. Some liquid adhesives can get under the screen and discolor or damage the display. I tend to stick with double sided tape as the most reliable. I've had great results from TESA black tape.

      @@TapticDigital I should too ig, I use the T7000 and only had good results so far. Still, can you drop a link for the double sided tape?

      @@davidschulmann2794 sure thing, I just added it to the bottom of the description for this video, I'd get a couple different sizes like 1mm-4mm

    DUDE HELP ME. I😭
    One of the 3 Logic board Screws won't come out(volume button one) it is really stuck down and I ruined it trying to unscrew it so many times how do I take it out 😭😭😭

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  Місяць тому

      @@NuclearBomb-ow4zf use a small grinding tool to cut a straight line into the screw, then use a flathead screwdriver to extract. If that’s not possible, you’re going to need a precision extractor kit, and it isn’t going to be very fun.

      Really? Dental floss? I had never thought of that, but it makes sense! I may give that a try next and see how it works for me.

    Just internal transfer,not frame replace

    • @TapticDigital
      @TapticDigital  Рік тому

      But it went in a new frame. A frame replacement is the same as an internals transfer, because either way the same board is in a different frame.
