I looked out one last time at the vast, thriving empire that we had brought up- that we had created together. Tears fell from my eyes as I tried to keep my sight on the blur of the glowing kingdom. But you were gone. "Why'd you have to go?" I heaved wrapping my arms around myself. I was suffocating without you. As I dropped my head in defeat all I could see through my rippling streams of tears were the fireflies flowing around me. "I can't do this alone...not without you." The black tendrils of my gown blew gently on a gust of sorrowful wind. The clouds above me grew darker with each breathe of air I gasped for. The trees behind me rustled beneath the breeze following around me. And suddenly, I could feel you with me. You were here with me. In the wind, the cloud, the Earth. This wasn't going to be the end. I wouldn't let it, not after what they had done to you. They deserved to pay for what they did. Their kingdoms deserved to crumble from the wake of the cavernous hole of revenge they stuffed inside me. My tears turned hot like the boiling sensation I felt under my skin. Bloodthirsty for rage and revenge is all I became. It was all I could feel for a still moment. I felt the all consuming power building up inside me. From my feet to the bottom of my gown, flames grew from within me. From within my fury filled black heart. Flowing further I felt the seething rage leak through my veins, into through my bloodstream, and up to my eyes. I forced myself to raise my chin, as the tracks of tears were left to scar my face for the rest of eternity. I gazed at the vivacious empire that held and created our memories. Taking a deep breathe, I looked out one last time with fire singing in my eyes, knowing this would be the last time I cried in pain for you. And the next time I cried for you, would be filled with earth-shattering vengeance. I looked out one last time at the vast, thriving empire that we had brought up- that we had created together. Tears fell from my eyes as I tried to keep my sight on the blur of the glowing kingdom.
But you were gone.
"Why'd you have to go?" I heaved wrapping my arms around myself. I was suffocating without you.
As I dropped my head in defeat all I could see through my rippling streams of tears were the fireflies flowing around me.
"I can't do this alone...not without you."
The black tendrils of my gown blew gently on a gust of sorrowful wind. The clouds above me grew darker with each breathe of air I gasped for. The trees behind me rustled beneath the breeze following around me.
And suddenly, I could feel you with me. You were here with me. In the wind, the cloud, the Earth.
This wasn't going to be the end. I wouldn't let it, not after what they had done to you. They deserved to pay for what they did. Their kingdoms deserved to crumble from the wake of the cavernous hole of revenge they stuffed inside me.
My tears turned hot like the boiling sensation I felt under my skin. Bloodthirsty for rage and revenge is all I became. It was all I could feel for a still moment. I felt the all consuming power building up inside me. From my feet to the bottom of my gown, flames grew from within me. From within my fury filled black heart.
Flowing further I felt the seething rage leak through my veins, into through my bloodstream, and up to my eyes.
I forced myself to raise my chin, as the tracks of tears were left to scar my face for the rest of eternity. I gazed at the vivacious empire that held and created our memories. Taking a deep breathe, I looked out one last time with fire singing in my eyes, knowing this would be the last time I cried in pain for you.
And the next time I cried for you, would be filled with earth-shattering vengeance.
