Ok, thats it! I keep coming back to this video every other month. I've always been telling myself that "yeah, it's cool and all, but do I really need one?" Yes! I can't take it any longer! Getting one of these next week. By the way, Korg, if you're reading this. This machine as an engine in the Kronos would be a welcome addition in a future OS update. And while you're at it you can give me the option to control effects parameters with the common step sequencer, so I can do the cool ring mod stuff that I've always dreamed of.. :)
MS-20 mini does not have a sequencer/clock divider, but you can use 2 sequences of different lengths on an SQ-1 to achieve different modulation timings.
Hi, does anybody know how to patch something similar to kick drum sound? I've tried function to pitch, buy it's too deep modification, it goes from highest to lowest. Maybe combining the first and the second function with the resistor to attenuate the signal? I'd like to use that with sequencer, so any motion sequence recording could help creating this sound.
Great patch, but a very poorly-lit video. Even at max screen brightness I could barely see what you were patching clearly. A quick cut to a diagram would be SO helpful. Tx.
THIS patch made me buy a second Volca.
So glad Korg is supporting the Modular with these videos. This patch tipped me over the edge, I’m ordering one!
Dude, I love this series, watch every week. This one was lit tho. 10/10 will steal.

This instrument is full of surprices
Can be similar thing done on MS-20?

Rockin!
Is there a diagram of the patches. My eyes are struggling to see clearly what's going on 🤓🙈

Is it possible to connect a keyboard controller to this synth? Thanks.😏😏😏
If you open the unit there is a place to solder a midi connector in or out.
Yes, if your controller has CV/Gate out and you have a stereo jack splitter (Y cable). There are tutorials on how to do it on YT.
Very interesting.
You're very interesting.
Creep
@@annother3350 Damn, I didn't know we called xenophiles creeps now. Back to the drawing board...
@@mikeexits it was a joke based upon you complimenting a complete stranger you know by name and avatar only
@@annother3350 Yup, that's why I replied to you the way I did, lol.
Nice - Polymeter of course not Polyrhythm
Jeff?
fuck yes
what a fat sound like this. like that so much.
I bought a used volca modular, and there were no patch cables, I'm about to riot!
3 people has lost on you tube.
