Looks great! I’m pretty sure they didn’t set up due to your pan being smaller than a 9x13 (yours was 7x12) so therefore the “batter” was thicker in your pan and couldn’t quite act as a sticky glue. I’m definitely trying this.
Too many marshmallows, i had the same problem, gooey sticky mess. i cut into small pieces and with slightly wet hands i formed into rectangles and dipped bottoms and sides in chocolate.
I believe the reason it was stickier and didn't set up firm was because the use of margarine instead of butter. Also, I believe you only needed three tablespoons and not four. It still looked delicious though... great job!
I loved your video and loved 😊you enthusiasm so I gave the recipe a try and I ran into the same difficulty. So I messed around with the recipe and it worked out great. I have a UA-cam channel too and it’s…. From Garden to kitchen with grandma rozann… I Posted a video if that can help you at all. We’re all in this together. I just want to thank you I love you enthusiasm and thank you for getting me started on this great family treat. Best of luck to you always. Your new subscriber, Rozann
Figured out what went wrong and revised the recipe, you have to cook the nougat for 20 minute. It set up perfectly.
The Best part of this video was the little dance that you gave after you took that first bite.... 👍
Thank you.
My wife made these last night with the revised recipe, and they turned out perfect. Wish I could put a picture on here. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you I’m glad you liked them..
Those look amazing. Thank you Gary, for the video, and for all of your hard work.
Thank you. Have a great day.
If any body knows why it didn’t set up firm, please let me know. The flavor is really good. Thanks for watching
I think you should’ve left it in the fridge longer but thanks for sharing sir! I will be making this tomorrow.☺️
Thank you let me know what you think about it.
Other recipes show the first ingredients melted together first before adding the marshmallows - maybe yours didn't get hot enough?
@@CCMTVPuyallup I’ll try that. Thanks
I figured it out and revised the recipe..
I think I'd like them just like that.
They tasted great..

Thank you, I will definitely try a larger pan. Thanks for watching.
That looks good. I love just putting peanuts and candy corn together ( that taste like a payday to me).
That sounds good, I found a recipe I’m going to try around Halloween when i can find the candy corn, and make a butterfinger..
Saw this recipe on another channel made with. 2 cups of the marshmallows and it set up better.
I would leave that out
