I watched this (and your last few videos) with a notebook to take notes on how to plan. My main goal for 2024 is to treat my social media like a full time job. I have the luxury of being able to do that pretty much, so I want to give my time the respect it deserves and use it to the best of my ability. Your ‘house on the lake’ vision is how I feel about a house in the countryside with land. Keeping that vision at the forefront by drawing it on the first page of my planner. I totally get not sharing your goals, but I am kind of sad because I love hearing your goals, getting updates on them, and seeing you succeed at them! I hope this method goes well for you! You never cease to inspire me. I have been so inconsistent with my channel trying to balance being a single mom of 4 and healing from a toxic relationship and still dealing with legal matters and other struggles. Lawyer needs to be paid so I had to pick up more hours for my side hustle which in turn leaves me with no time and motivation to put into my channel. I’ve tried writing goals and working on them, but shit happens all the time so goals keep being adjusted all the time. But maybe, maybe I should just start small…posting a video over none for months is still progress.

I'm currently sitting down sorting out my goals/plans for 2024. Since having to give up my ft career 4 yrs ago due to illness. I'm now in the process of setting up my own small business. It scares the heck out of me as I've never done anything like this before. But after spending 2 years trying to find employment, I was in such a low point in my life that I thought, well why not. I've been following you since 2018 and love your passion and drive. I'm also going back through all your old vlogmas videos and loving every second of it again xx My word for 2024 is Focus x

My goals for January... I'm taking the month of December to make 4 UA-cam videos for my business channel. That content will be dripped out each week in January. I plan to repurpose that content on other social media platforms and transform the video scripts into blog posts for my website. I will also repurpose on platforms like Pinterest, Medium and linked-in. I'm also creating a freebie surrounding the content I'm creating in an effort to grow my email list. I'm hoping to rinse and repeat every month after January.
My only goal for 2023 was to get monetized, and I did it! My goal for 2024 is to stream more and hope I can keep building my community, which, in turn, will allow me to work less at my main job and focus more on my channel. I am also going to try and get back into using Instagram more and posting reels/shorts/tiktoks.
I loved this video so much. I love seeing your blanket spread out and you wearing your baby carrier and seeing your baby. All while hammering out your goals. It’s so relatable for me because I have kids and I get caught in these ideas that I don’t have time but it’s really not true. I need to organize myself and plan better. This gave me so much motivation to do just that. I’m feeling super excited and hopeful about this year and some ideas I have and how I can put them into action steps! I can’t say how helpful all of this was for me! 🙏🏽🩵
Yep! I agree that having an action plan is super important. I'm realising this more and more as a new UA-cam creator with 2 other jobs lol 😅 The way I see it is if it's important enough you will make the time with no excuses, and if something REALLY does prevent you on one of your planned content creation days or times then it's OK, just do it when you can.

You've inspired me to keep some of my new year goals to myself! I have one more goal for December and I ended up sharing it with my mom today because I'll be on a trip with her and my dad for all of next week and then it's holidays times. My thought process is "I need you guys to know I'm doing this thing, I need your help to guard my time" and my mom is all on board. So hoping the two of them contributing positive energy is going to help me do the job.
But going forward whatever goals I make for 2024, might keep some private.
Cathrin try this, reverse engineer each of yours goals into a visual timeline consisting of achievable small step actions and adjust each one accordingly. Don't over complicate things ❤

Great idea
A lot of my goals are on the personal side, like moving more, cooking and baking more, making the spaces in my home something I would want to come home to, and making a trip to see my sister before the year is over. My work goal is to just be consistent. I struggle with staying on schedule, but I thrive when I can stay on schedule. So I'm working on having set days where I do certain things and working to build up on more as time goes on.
You got me motivated to do a 2024 goals book for the first time ever! New content creator and new home based business plus 2 other jobs that as my business grows I will leave those jobs to just do my home based business and social media. I have to set goals to achieve this. Thank you for the video!!!

Something I once had someone tell me was not to wait - because otherwise you are setting the tone and beginning by procrastinating. So, I'd say to just go for it and begin! (I love the steps you took and that you showed the whole process, by the way!)

My goals are similar. I like theme days. They are to film on Mondays and Tuesdays I don’t work as I spend the day each week with by grandbabies. Wed and Thurs I do interviews for the podcast and my second UA-cam account. Fridays are grandbabies day and afternoons are editing. I typically write a blog or two on Saturdays and also use that for my email. On Sundays. My other goal for 2024 is to double my Pinterest management clients.
I do 12 weeks at a time and I started now. It gets me into a groove. I'm on auto pilot
