Featuring three popular British made family cars of the 1970s and 80s - The Rover SD1, the Triumph Dolomite, and the Austin Princess, but can they survive the boy's rigorous testing? What's funny is that of all the doors that fell off, it wasn't the one that fell off from the last test xD

Love the comments about wasting water. It's a British show, we're an island where it rains pretty much all year round. This ain't Top Gear Chad where there it rains once a decade. lol
i know right. like instead they could have sent that water to africa. they werent pouring bottles of evian in the car. also people think once that water has worked its way to the ground thats it, gone forever. even though all the water thats on the earth or in the atmosphere always remains there

The problem is, they aren't using the right brand. Everyone knows you need to use Flex Tape to fix leaks!

This is one of the best challenges. Cheap or budget cars going through various tests with laughs and cocking about. I rather have these sometimes over the supercars
James is clearly the best at choosing cars, he had ;
The best BMW (in the convertible challenge)
The best Porsche (In the Porsche challenge)
The best low budget sports car
The best car here
Hammond is a close second. He had the best Estate Car ( Africa Trip)
Roadster (Middle East Trip)
And the best van (Man with a can challenge)
And Hammond had Oliver, that counts for something, right?
I also noticed Hammond had spent more than the budget a few times, and Clarkson always spends the least. Explains why he almost never won a cheap car challenge (feel free to correct me on that).
Clarkson won the £100 car challenge, he bought a Volvo for £1.
He won the other one where he sold his car for parts.

Of the three cars my father actually wanted a Dolomite Sprint but by the time he passed his driving test which was when he was 18 the car had been out of production for just over 5 years (Aug 1980 production stopped) and it was early 1986 when he passed his driving test.

Ha ha, i live on the estate just behind where this was filmed, and right now, the test track is so over grown and abandoned that you cant see other roads except for if you were to go ontop of the hills on there. its amazing to see the transformation
