Man I miss this guy. His charisma, his charm, his incredible vocal talent, his....presence. I miss Layne for his unmistakable voice. I miss Andrew Wood for his stage antics. I miss..........................my youth. Life is fragile. Take in every moment.
I miss my youth as well life comes and goes so very quickly I remember when I was a kid wishing I was a adult now I’m a adult wishing I was a kid again I would’ve done so many this different I have made great choices in life and bad choices like being a heroin addict for 20 years and making the very hard but necessary choice to get clean 3 years ago best decision I have made in my life I will never regret it sometimes I find myself missing it but I comeback to my senses and wonder why I’m thinking like that well it’s because I’m a addict forever I’m in recovery forever I really love myself and my life now I’m still young 36 years old so I got a lot of life ahead of me but I do miss growing up
In Europe the dates are DD/MM/YYYY so it was May 7th 2016 as evidenced by the publish date May 8th, 2016. Such a beautiful song and yes, a nice tribute indeed :)
Chris Cornell is the only musician who could have pulled off this cover. Alice Mudgarden's Right turn off of Sap is still one of my favorite songs ever. Alice Mudgarden was short lived but one of the alltime great super groups. Layne Staley, Chris Cornell, Jerry Cantrell, Mark McLaughlin, Sean Kinney & Mike Starr.
Well he didn't play it in all concerts. And i remember i was in this and he played it with a chelo guy who did the solo. It was one of the highlights of the concert!
Cornell covering Layne? Doesnt get any better. Pure gold.

Great comment
Such a beautiful song, as only he can do.
A head full of lies
Is the weight
Tied to my waist
Unbelievable lyrics
Cornell and Staley... Two amazing singers that we lost. But one thing I am sure: They will never be forgotten.
I miss him so much. Such a brillant talent.
Damn. RIP twice. One of my favorite songs ever, covered by another talent gone too soon. May you find peace.
I was just thinking the same thing!
The best musician to have graced this earth. Miss you so much Chris.
Almost 20 years to the day after Layne's final live performance (7/3/96). A very touching, beautiful tribute.

Such a beautiful song and yes, a nice tribute indeed :)
RIP to them both.
Our pain, is and always will be
Self chosen. One way or another
Solo Chriss puede cantar esta canción de Layne llena de emociones..Cornell la mejor voz del grunge.
I love it when iconic bands cover each others music.
Only you, me, Chris and my God are the only ones who know how much I truly miss this man.. Chris, I miss you buddy.. Rest easy my friend!
Well said. I cry at times when listening to Chris
Man...he had the best voice I’ve ever heard in my life to this day.
Layne or Chris?
@@unitedivide2789 I would say it is a tie. Both are immaculate in their own ways.
Beautiful Tribute Chris. RIP Chris and Layne especially for singing this wonderful song. May they both be resting peacefully.
Perfect in every way for Cornell to sing this tune > an era has faded but never forgotten we will always have the music
Tu nous manques Chris…😢

Listen to Seethers cover of it, Shaun Morgan is another amazing vocalist.
@@krabbypatty5942 Was gonna say i love seethers cover of it
This is the only dude who can cover Layne's shit
So missed!! M dear Chris💚😣
Would love to hear this in a studio only version
Beautiful♥💙🎶
Da best kinds RIP Chris.

Flawless
Amazing 😇😇❤❤❤☝😥
Great cover, I miss Layne. I miss Chris… haunting.
I fall in love this, Jessie #support Jessie
4 fucking years ago we lost this man.
Chills.
He was so great 😢
I’m sure they had a many music memories 🤟🏼😎
I could either burn
Or cut off my pride and buy some time
A head full of lies is the weight, tied to my waist ...
Why isnt there a video of chris singing nuthsell??!!
I like how he was going to play the outro, but everyone cheering so loud it would have been pointless so he just stopped LMAO
He makes any song he sings 100 times better.
Jordan Wiley you could say that, or you could say he just adds his own perfect recipe to already great songs, giving them their own new dynamic
Jerry isn't going. Please help him doing what he's born to to do!
NorthernStar1776 what?
What does Cantrell have to do with anything here? He had zero to do with Mad Season.
temazo
rip
Cause CHRIS don’t have a set list....
The people shouting "Black Hole Sun"....
...just... just stop.
Todd Dawson-Cooper any true Cornell fan knows there are sooooooo many other gems to be played.
@@Marsbar1212 Yeah, it's a beautiful song, but I feel that songs like Seasons, Ferry Boat #3, and Sweet Euphoria should've gotten a lot more exposure.
Well he didn't play it in all concerts. And i remember i was in this and he played it with a chelo guy who did the solo. It was one of the highlights of the concert!
SEVEN NATION ARMY
:(
Layne laid down the warning...Chris sung this version well but didn't listen to the warning...smh! Such a shame! : (
Chris did covers for his love of music and to show appreciation to the artists, and in this case a friend who has passed. It's not a competition
Israel HAHAHAHA
I know Israel owns our entertainment industry. Still though... Shame. Shame.
