    Everything I hate about my Can-Am X3 after 4,000 trail miles and 1,000 miles of racing... Nothing. I love this damn thing and want to drive it 24/7.

      I’ve got a 2020 model with some aftermarket parts still goes good 4 years later, owned a rzr and yxz1000r ss ( Yamaha) both of those didn’t even last 2 years even being taken care of with routine maintenance

    Your unit looks like the one I road in at Bastrop powersports that got me hooked! Smiled all day after that ride. Wanted to buy it BUT there is 3 of us and my son would have outgrown the center seat. So i was able to order an 2021 DS turbo R Max. 172 hp unit. Keep in mind this is in 2020 i got it and then the factory shut down. Took me monthes to make it happen! Had it over 2 yrs still on the 1st belt a little under 1000m less than 100hrs. She is still new! Just put a stage 1 evo tune and she is awake now!! Great units! Not cheap!

    Hey, love the video I got a question about your shocks settings like your pre-load and your crossovers where are you running the measurements I got the exact same machine and I’m running 32” tires

      Sorry it took me so long. I had to remeasure my machine lol I have the preload ran up to 17 inches of ground clearance front and back. 2.5 inches on the front crossover rings from the top of the spring and on the rear 3 inches from the top of the spring. Front high speed compression is 1 turn from full hard and low speed is 1/2 turn from full hard. Rebound is one turn from all the way out. Rear high speed is 2 turns from full soft, low speed is 2 turns from full hard, and rebound is 1.5 turns from all the way in. I like these settings pretty good. I do play with them here and there

    It all depends on where you ride for wanting moRE power!
    Tall sand dunes and you’ll want a little more power!
    DONT need it but, you might want it!

    Honestly smart shocks are over rated. They are great for switching from hard to soft on the fly but for some reason they jump like crap. Every smart shock x3 I've seen bucks off jumps but myself and all my buddies 2018 XRS machines jump flat. We never had a bucking problem. We did get the nose slap but that's an issue with design.

    So I'm between buying a used 21/22 max rr (DS/RS, haven't decided) or a new 23.
    Is the clutch sound, ie p drive that big of an issue?
    I can save 20k+ going used (Canada) but it's a big our base that I will use alot. I want to enjoy it, and I want my wife to enjoy it. What would you do with your experience?

    • @discoverpowersports
      @discoverpowersports  Рік тому

      The clutch noise from the old clutch’s to the p drive is a big difference. If you can get a 22 or up I would.

    Any regrets on not getting 4 seater? I’m having decision paralysis. I don’t want to eliminate the chance of ever having extra people ride, but is it worth $2,000/seat 😂😂

      @@discoverpowersports Great question … I’m looking at getting a sxs to take into the woods as the little guy gets older (13 months) and cruise down to the lake for now … but The 4 seater wheel base is just so long … having off-roading Jeeps for over a decade, I know it was way different going from a 2dr to a 4dr and with these sitting so low, do you worry about bottoming out on everything? They just look like you would be scraping bottom all day in anything other than sand

    Theres a lot more wrong with this machine than mentioned although you did touch upon some valid points, Changing the oil shouldnt be a pita. Air filter location is stupid and a pian to remove.My 2024 after 12 miles squeaks more than my 2020 polaris and my 2021 kawi. Seating posistion is terrible. Half single thin skinned doors like 20k you cheap bastards can give us an atcual door? plus the door handle is a winch strap omfg im surprised BRP didnt just put a zip tie there. I could go on for hours. Before you decide to purchase one of these jokes look into the Kawi you wont regret how durable easy it is to mantain and the build quality is second to none and a reasonable price. Plus its actually reliable. Go figure.
