    I think BMW Motorrad just set a new standard with this bike. Recently purchased a 2024 K1600b, it has everything that I was looking for in a motorcycle.

    Picked mine up last Friday, amazing bike. Sporty, deceivingly flickable, and incredibly comfortable in one package. I'll definitely be upgrading to the Remus exhaust and Option 719 wheels soon!

    Nice review fellas. I have a four month old K1600b and I have put 9,500 miles on it. The bike has some definite flaws such as, the crappy stereo that can’t be heard above 40mph, stupid, side opening ugly saddle bags, the bike shimmies behind semi trucks in the dirty or turbulent air, it doesn’t track worth a damn in high winds and the buffeting noise is horrible and i for the first time in my life, have to wear earplugs.
    All that said, I am cool with the bike because it’s badd ass having a bagger that can hang with all, but 1 litter sport bikes. This thing wheelies at 40mph, 0-60 in 3 seconds flat and the quarter mile at 11 seconds flat and with a Bren tune will be in the upper 10.9 second range. All this with long distance comfort rivals a Lazy-boy recliner! That my friends is a winner in my book!
    K1600b stands for Bad Ass not bagger. JMHO

      Thanks buddy! No bike is perfect but if i was in the market for a super powered touring rig, I'd still buy the K1600B and work around some of it's flaws in the aftermarket

      Buffeting I’m not bothered by. I’ve been wearing plugs for years.

    I have one and you can set the buttons to what ever you want. I have mine set 1=heated grips,2=heated seat,3=radio. I sold my 23 GSA for the K1600B

    It’s probably the only bike I’d trade my GSA for. I want both in my shed😃

      In all the bikes I've sampled last summer. this one always comes back to mind... I still think its an incredible power touring bike... exept for the sound system that absolutely sucks.

    The shots whilst stationary showed the single, left and right, exhausts. The bike you were riding showed the doubles left and right. Any reason? I have the R18 Bagger with all the bells and whistles. It went in for a service a couple of weeks ago and got the K1600 Bagger for two days as a loaner. I live in Germany and had it to over 190 kph without even realising it. My R18B vibrates somewhat. The K1600 is smooth a silk. The control systems on the handlebars are intuitive and you get used to them very quickly. They are the same on most modern BMWs. There's a company here in Germany called Wunderlich. They make a shed load of mods for the K1600 series bikes which really take it to that extra level. You can also fit the K1600 GT bigger screen to the Bagger version which realy helps with wind reduction. Thanks for the vid 👏

      You did not watch the whole video, I mention twice that there is a 4000$ REmus performance exhaust on the bike. ;)

    Greetings from Los Angeles, California, USA. Great vid! You mentioned Remus exhaust, and handlebar mods, etc. What modifications were made on the handlebars to make them look so comfortable and tall? Risers? If so, what brand? Different handlebars? It all looks a lot more comfortable than the stock K1600B handlebar position. Thanks!

      I tried to find out the brand of the bars but even the dealer did not know what they were. just bars though, using stock risers.

    • @synonyx

      They appear to be stock ones, just adjusted differently than the stock position where they sit lower.

      @ATVGUYS  11 місяців тому

      @@synonyx I was told they were aftermarket with more rise. I should have looked deeper into the mods the bike had. It was sold three days after I returned it to the dealer.

    I prefer the Goldwing that is recording your ride….😂

    • @ATVGUYS
      @ATVGUYS  7 місяців тому

      We rode 3000km with that Goldwing but had a major portable hard drive failure the we were dumping drone, 360 cams and gopro footage to... The Goldwing is awesome for sure but for me, the 6 cyl Beemer in this video still gives me goosebumps months after thinking about the ride... Just a street ballistic cruise missile that outperforms the Goldwing in absolutely every category for me.

    I’ve had a k1200s and currently an r1200rt… don’t have a clue what you mean about “notchy”…what is that?? As far as telelever you obviously haven’t ridden it enough to feel how connected you are to the road …..ride it more and you catch on…..nice video though!! And yeah….it handles phenomenally for a bike that weighs almost 800 lbs…..with a bike like that who needs a radio???
    Oh and you ride wayyyy too close to the centerline!!🧐
