That's kinda sad that you can't wait to play the game first. Rather you have to have someone spoil all the details of the game for you lol.
if ya got pc, you can try it out on yuzu emulator. you can find tutorial on youtube. i recommend to use decent pc for it, cause its kinda laggy on mine.
Btw if you hear the shiny sound effect save the game immediately. If you close the game the Pokémon will still be shiny

I feel like this game will be able to be 100% shiny. The rates seem wayyyyy higher than normal which I love
Outbreaks and respawning are probably going to be hella exploitable. Ex. Outbreak , save, 15 catches, no shiny, reset, repeat till shiny, save.
@@Aquax_the_3rd Pretty sure he said you talk to the gate guard. I’m more curious how you reset outbreaks to get a specific one.
1 in 4,096 or 1 in 271 outbreaks groups/resets if my math is correct.
Austin John said like 1:128 with all additional perks added such as poke’dex page completion and charm. That’s ridiculous!
@@rock85cool to reset out breaks all you need to do is to go to any base camp and back to jubilofe city
NOTE: In mass outbreak every spawns is already predetermined, means resetting the game wont help much. and if there are more than 1 outbreak in different areas, save first in the village before proceeding on each one 😊
When do you unlock mass outbreaks? Is it past main story?

when does it get predetermined? When you enter the outbreak, enter the area or before leaving the village?
@@switchblade6 that’s incorrect. I haven’t beaten Kleavor but am currently encountering mass outbreaks

looks like it will be a fun game. if they polish up this game formula and upgrade the graphics a bit this series could be AMAZING
I think they would focus on the performance rather then the graphics due to the switch limitations in future patches maybe

@@Manster559 What limitations? Stop giving the developers a free pass on blatant lazy half baked work. Take a good look a zelda botw and super mario odyssey, both 5 year old games and the differences in visuals when compared to pokemon arceus is night and day

For the outbreaks can you soft reset if none of the 12-15 are shiny?

I’m assuming you can save a specific outbreak and retry? How do the outbreaks reset, sleeping?
I was not progressing with the story in the beginning to try to find a shiny and after like 18hrs of looking I gave up and moved on to the story and just my luck as I was going to the next location randomly found a shiny roselia, I didn’t even have a roselia yet, I was so happy!! Non stop cheers

I've not caught many shiny Alpha Pokemon yet, but I got a shiny Rapidash in a massive mass outbreak the other day, it's probably one of the biggest alpha pokemon I have seen, it's huge!
I have got nearly two boxes full of regular shinies though, the highest amount caught was 9 in one evening!
I like how when you take out magicarp it actually looks like its swimming and not dying like a fish out of water
What I like doing is going back and forth between the village and a location until I get a mass outbreak of a Pokémon with a shiny I know I like, then if I don’t get a shiny from the outbreak I just leave and return to the village, then keep going back and forth again until I get another outbreak I want to go for. I also like flying over the maps with braviary just looking for shinies that way, it’s super chill.
This tip worked I found 4 shines while catching some Pokemon

I was hunting for goomy, 100% completed his pokedex stuff and randomly bumped into a full odds shiny driftloom while gathering more crafting supplies
It helped to see a shiny. I found a shiny starly outbreak and found a shiny threw a pokeball at it and took a lap around my room to see it break out and run away LOL anyways thank you for the guide

Shiny hunting in this game is so fun to me, hearing the shiny pop up on your screen is so satisfying.
I totally agree, I always get paranoid whenever I hear a sound because it could be a shiny. My first every shiny was a full odds Cascooon which I evolved into Dustox (worst decision of my life). That’s when I started shiny hunting!

I love using the mass outbreak trick for shiny hunting too, but I'm glad I found someone who agrees with me.
@@Lmao-zl9jf I always try the mass out breaks but I barely get lucky. Most of my shinies have come from me just flying around doing nothing. Whenever I hear the sound and look down from Braviary my heart just races lol.
Is there a booster chance if you have a level 10 research level on a certain Pokémon

Im new in Pokémon series. May I know the difference between the Alpha & Shiny Pokémon. So much hype for shiny, I only have Ponyta I got from SQ.
So far I got full odds Eevee and Buizel and massing Starly and Silcoon shiny hunting in Legends is a lot for fun and forgiving.
I'm sure it's been said already but u can save before trying to capture it and if u fail and reset it'll still be there

I love the colorations in this game though. I wish they were permanent changes. Like mime jr (non shiny) looks so much better for example

Are shiny's any better? Also, how can I tell easily other than sometimes different color and a star light up. Like, I have played 17 hours and don't know if I have battled Shiny pokemon or not lol. (Im obviously new to this concept)

i think gamefreak did a great job with the sound tbh. Although pokemon lets go also had that feature, the sound when there's a shiny nearby sounds as if you are rewarded and warned that there is a shiny near you.
I got a shiny parasect right when i first got to the crimson mirelands, and a shiny luxio right as i got to the coronet highlands. Thus far those are my only shinies.
In the combat coastland I found a shiny alpha machoke and I was panicking bc I was on my last great ball and I caught it on that last ball

That was my first shiny too besides the shiny ponyta for the mission. So far I got shiny buizel shiny ponyta shiny geodude and shiny glameow but have not seen anymore in the last few days
Like 20 minutes ago I found a full ods shiny machop I thought it was a rock because special rocks have that glamour so naturally I called at the rock 😂

Funny thing: My first shiny encounter was shiny ponyta, probably back when I only had obsidian fieldlands or something.
I was nonchalant about it and I’m not sure why…
