Hello UA-cam, I am Malcolm Merlyn. As most of you are aware, there are a lot of different scammers out there and these include Nigerian prince email scammers, Indian tech support scammers, IRS scammers and others. They have been around for over 10 years now and they don’t seem to be going anywhere. After getting a lot of calls, sometimes very early in the morning I have decided enough is enough. If the government won’t shut down these pests then I will.
I created some virtual machines and started calling scammers using a fake caller ID. The calls were quite hilarious so I started uploading them on UA-cam; this was great as I was raising awareness about scams while also earning money. In total I have called scammers over ten thousand times in the past year and a half. I created a number of programs to annoy them including a call flooder that can call the scammers many times per minute which overloads their phones.

It’s just specifically the hacking aspect that requires you to prove yourself to be a recognised member of. All you really need to join anonymous is call yourself anonymous, hide your identity online and try and impact society positively according to their own pages. That was the funniest videos I’ve ever watched about scammers getting hacked, it’s kind of boring watching the ones that just destroy files, and the files are most likely just leads anyway. Infiltrate and hurt, I’m certain you know that’s the only way to make people reconsider scamming is to make them aware that if caught, the punishment is too severe for the risk.
This was a great video. I had scam artist calling my elderly parents. I got on the phone and trolled the African scam artists. I said I was ex military and I ran a private investigation company. I am contracted with the military and I'll be getting on a plane ticket to come over and talk with them. Based off there accent on a prior message. I researched accents online before calling the number back.
Acted like I traced there call after 5 mins in and after saying I am on my way. They said you dont know where we are. I go I already bought a ticket to Ghana from tracing there call...lol. They freaked out and hung up. Never to call back again. The scams were calling 12 times a day and the messages were threatening them and guilt tripping them to give them money. Otherwise there computer would be crashed and there data stolen. They learned there lesson.

Most likely a soundboard that they programmed.
methinks he edited out the downtime of his responses for the sake of video length. at one point the scammer asked why he took so long to respond when the video shows him responding immediately.
Just clip out the silence in Audacity. That's what I do anyway.
You just need to make a sound board with realistic answers to give to the expected questions from the scammer. To make it authentic record your own voice saying it, then obfuscate your voice well enough to hide you but not so much it sounds artificial.
Anon ium Pardon a potentially stupid question(s), but if I may ask: Which Soundboard and Programmes, [Mac and PC] even Apps {Mobile (Droid & iOS) and Tablets (Droid)} do you recommend trying/using. Kinda new to this stuff, but am rather keen on, and love electronics, so learning-curve won't be enormous! LOL
Also, any other equipment, websites, etc. you {or anyone who fancies sharing a bit of info} recommend I use/Check-out/research prior to, and whilst using, are deeply appreciated.

Do you know scammers first started in USA when internet usage started expanding and usage of electronic mail got popular. Even today people get 10 to 20 mails saying that "You won $1000000, if called them back, they will ask details like addres, passport number and other details then ask the victim to pay some USD so that the payment of prize money is processed, if you pay that amount , you will never ever hear from them. Dude they are everywhere, they are category of people who want to earn money in shorcut rather than working and earning. So how many countries you shut down bro? U need to shutdown USA in that case. Is it possible? So just understand one thing, stop racism and think like a normal human, We need to fight scammers not innocnet people. We have to co exist, you should understand that we get majority of our food items and other consumables from INDIA. Dont forget that we depend on India , India dont depend on USA. So when we say shutting down such nation, it means we are hitting hammer on our own foot. What do you want? To fight crime or be a stupid ? Kinda anticlimactic coming from anonymous wasn’t nothing hacked just a spam call bot. Tbh I would say it’s too far fetched to say this wasn’t anonymous just a fan. Seems like a group of that magnitude would be able to do more than spam a phone number till they change it that’s hella weak.
I mean these scammersnare so bad at uaing computers, they let you connect to yheir computer sometimes and tell you "dont move your mouse" you can literally install a trojan on their pc while they are trying to explain why you have a "wirus" on your virtual machine, once the trojan is there you can even turn on thwir webcam etc.
Then they make UA-cam videos claiming to be anonymous with a ridiculous bot voice :))
