Correct. Its one of the reasons I've made that particular video unlisted as some people forgot to read the Description and thought it was more secure than it was. I used that technique a lot for digital breakout challenges and escape room like activities and in that case the password is not shared as the students love solving the challenges. Still the most secure way to share of protect files is by having them shared using the share settings which can be changed at any time. But as with everything. Nothing is 100% safe.
@@FlippedClassroomTutorials I teach Severely Handicapped Special Education. I make videos of our events and publish them on my google drive. I needed something to keep them relatively safe with a password. It worked perfectly, and my parents feel safe. My students are from a low socioeconomic area, so this is really their yearbook [plus the school year book wouldn't really have much content with them in it]. So you have helped us a great deal. Thank you, I just wanted you to know.

in the head and footer how i can change them in every page? like every even pages it gives the same footer 2 and 4 and 6 , and 1 3 5 are the same footer i want every page to have its own footer and header.

One suggestion - turn off that annoying background soundtrack that repeats the same 3 seconds of music over and over and over. This isn't a movie, it doesn't need a soundtrack. LOL

How do I insert an object in Word Online? That option doesn't seem to be there.
I´m struggling to find "Full view mode" (that is just not "read"). Hiding the "bar" helped a bit, but I still find it odd how hard it is to find "full view" of document with less distractions when writing.
the Editor feature is quite limited in the free Word Online version. You must be logged into a 365 account.

I am working with a document in Word for M365 in my web browser and I want to use the text wrap option "Behind Text" and "In Front of Text" in order to move an image freely around the page. When I use these text wrap options, it will send the image behind/in front of the text, but as soon as I move the image, it goes back to being "In Line with Text."
How to fix it????
YES, I am also facing the same issue. I think this feature is restricted in online Microsoft 365. If anyone have solution please let me know.

@@chandanchoudhary5252If that function is restricted, then the question arises: why were buttons for those functions added? It seems they added buttons but forgot to include the corresponding functions in the code for Word for Web. The same issue occurs if you add a Text Box; it has the same problem. Try it; the Text Box is impossible to move.😖

Unless the owner gives you editing rights the only way would be to copy the document and become the owner of this new file.

Many android hone will have this built into the keyboard. See if your device has a microphone option in the keyboard. If not you an install the Google G Board and then speech to text becomes part of the phone and you can use it in any application you want.
@@FlippedClassroomTutorials Thank you for replying, yes you are right about the built in feature of Android phone regarding speech to text but I am looking for the typing feature of Google doc crome extension which proive seemless typing experience, one which you have explained in one of your videos, your video was explanatory and very appealing, so when I tried to use that typing feature, I realized that that crome extension is only for desktop version and not for mobile, so I request you to please guide us with your next video, how to get the same typing experience like putting comma, deleting text, introducing next paragraph through voice command.
The difficulty with Android keyboard voice typing is it don't except all voice command like putting punctuation, secondly it listen to you for very short duration, if you take a longer pause then you need to again press the mic icon. Hope you have understood my problem now.

There is no option. I needed that one. The reference is only on the ms word app. Maybe you could use someone else's word who has the apps.

Word is finally catching up to what Google has been doing for years -- collaborative docs. It appears the collaboration is not synchronous as Google is, though, with real-time chat and labeled/color-specific cursors within the doc to differentiate each collaborator as they edit. Or is that possible as well?
Smart Lookup is the equivalent of the Explore tool in Google with research & in-text citations/footnotes. Nice.
But it seems Editor Score would be the game changer, especially for my EFL writers. It's like a built-in rubric. Wow! Perhaps I should make the switch next semester...🤔
I agree with your summary. I am revisiting most Office applications in the coming weeks as I feel the online Free versions have certainly been improved a great deal. There is still work to be done on the collaboration side of things as you've mentioned but other additions such as the focus on EAL and SEN as well as the inclusion of many accessibility tools right out of the box are what makes Microsoft worth another look.

How to add line borders in ms Word online, I tried, but it's not happening!
Word for the web does not let you edit, delete, or add new borders to text. If you’ve added borders around text in a document you created with the Word desktop app, Word for the web will preserve them. A potential workaround you can try is to use a table that contains only one cell, then paste or type your text into that cell.

When you go to Insert, Select Page break. Each Page break functions as a new page. You can see this represented visually by going to View and choosing reader view. Hope this helps.
