There are six dialect speakers in BTS. Firstly, there are Gyeongsang-do dialect speakers Suga, Jimin, V, Jungkook, and Jeolla-do dialect speaker J-Hope. And Jin and RM are from Gyeonggi-do, a region that speaks standard Korean. But, Jin speaks Chungcheong-do dialect due to the influence of his parents, who are from Chungcheong-do. And finally, RM was strongly influenced by the members who spoke these three regional dialects, so he came to speak a mixture of all three dialects. 🤣 The members call RM's dialect 'Namtoori'(Namjoon's Satoori). 🤣 Sooooo cute!
Regionalism is an old problem of the Korean society. BTS rap line made this song before their debut. And it's very sensational because they as young generation sang about community cohesion. They(RM, Suga, J hope) even spoke about their thought to an evening news show.👍👍 It was in 2011.
This song isn’t just a fun vibe but a celebration of the regional accents they all have. It’s so fun! Also some of them especially Jimin was made fun of for hud thick Busan accent when he move to Seoul, Tae stepped in to help him out and that was a big part of their friendship. But these guys from the start took anything people made fun of them for and turned it into massively fun songs.

I'm looking forward to your reaction to the explanation, since this rap has so much local and regional references that are nearly impossible to understand unless one is in on it. So here is a link to a good explanation: ua-cam.com/video/l48zU1h00jw/v-deo.html
Paldogangsan and Ma City is a combo! One talks about dialects, regional accents and one talks about the city where each member came from. That's how BTS promote Korea to the world. I suggest you listen to each song live, especially the 4th Muster live version. In Paldogangsan there's a break where they did a skit, 4 members speaking gyeongsangdo dialect (Suga, Taehyung, Jimin, Jungkook) and the member who speaks Jeollado dialect (JHope) accompanied by Jin (He speaks mostly standard Seoul Korean so he's assisting Jhope who is being out-numbered) are having sort of a quarrel like they're about to beat each other up over their dialects. RM broke in between them and start rapping his verse, serving as a peacemaker, saying every accent is cool (RM speak standard Seoul Korean).
They already booked the ticket for Agust D/Suga's live, I want to see all the reactions recording it in his live and sharing the experience with all of us here.👍
Always loved this song! It has a great sample from Oooh Wee by Mark Ronson featuring Ghostface Killah & Saigon :D The content, as usual, is really poignant and pointed!
Do the day they listened to that song they are going to lose it not just lose it absolutely just be that they've made that song I was they're going to be floored by the instrumental and the composition and the overall just sound of that song the day it happens I hope I'm the first one to comment on it it's going to be epic and they're not prepared and we're not going to be prepared for their reaction.
