Thanks for the words. Yeah i was afraid to jump down, the darn cut was 4 ft. but we found a good spot to enter. Metal Detecting NYC is posting his take on the today today at 6pm! I am interested to go out after they dredge it up. I wonder what things which washed out will be thrown back onto the beach.
Good work putting up this teaser..one thing that is smart is putting something up like this to get people into this history of the place you are about to hunt!
there are a bunch of old amusements parks up in bronx that I emailed info on to your partner ...it would be cool if you did a sit down interview together discussing your different favorite sites and overall observations on metal detecting...i think people would DIG that!
I grew up on 69th decosta ave, playland was the bomb, I was so sad when they took it down!
Yeah, there was no trace of an amusement park when I went there. Such a shame!
Thank you buddy
There is more at that beach. Good luck and happy hunting!
Thanks. Its a bit far from where i live but i will nake a few more trips out this year
Hopefully you will do a follow up..as you know one time out only scratches the surface.
I want to go again, but it is pretty far. I would like to go once the sand is dredged up too

Yes we want to know the years of the coins
Years would have been interesting- if they go way back.
We want to know if you find any silver coins bro
I find silver coins all the times in the parks. Been hitting the beaches in NYC recently
