I am fairly new to this channel, but I have been consistently blown away by how mature, compassionate, smart, and gentle your daughter is. She takes such wonderful care of all of the creatures on your farm. What a wonderful asset she is. I've been a nurse for decades. If, for some reason she does not choose to make a career out caring for animals, or full time parenting, humans would be extremely lucky (and grateful) if she chose a career in health care.
You guys are just so much fun to watch & MaryCarl is so sweet!! I could watch her all day long & listen to her talk about all her birds! She's SOOOO sweet!
It is so good to see the relationship you all have with every animal. The love can be felt through the screen so glad MC is just as loving to the animals when you aren't watching. Great job Coghill. God Bless all of you daily
Oh my goodness, what absolute sweethearts. MaryCarl, you are the best mama. Peaches... love her. Nugget is hilarious and such a delight. Ruby and Opal, BFF’s that are good mothers. Love the color of the eggs. Scott is beautiful. I so enjoy watching your videos. Thank you! 🦃🐓🦆
All your egg hatching talk has gotten me super excited to hatch my own birds...on my list to do this year(among other things lol) Have a good one, Chad
Aweee I love this video.... Never before seen footage of a turkey and a duck raise a baby chicken.... Such a very unique family having 2 momma's! 🤗🤗💕💕💕
Oh my goodness this is the making of a sweet children’s book. MaryCarl maybe it is time for you to write a little book about your feathered friends..the Duck, geese and new family....
OMGGGGGGGG IM SO EXCITED oh and update on my eggs in my incubator out of 12 only four were fertile I think there’s one more that might be fertile today’s day 5 I’m so glad😜😆😁
That is too funny with Opal taking eggs to lay on! Y'all are a wonderful family. I cannot wait to watch your garden info. My son and I want to start one this year in central Oregon.
A Turducken is (for those that don't know) the festive stuffed bird one buys at one's supermarket around the time of a festive occasion - A chicken stuffed inside a duck, which in turn is stuffed inside a turkey. The entire critter is then stuffed with one's favorite mix of stuffing whether it be pork sausagemeat or onion & sage or packaged "PAXO" stuffing, even the good old family recipe passed down( i recall my mom's having breadcrumbs, minced chicken livers, herbs eg thyme or sage, spices, salt & pepper.) The stuffing in the crop was different to the stuffing in the main cavity.
Can you make available to purchase the picture of the Turkey and Duck and the chick when they were grouped all together. That was so cute! I wish you all had a calendar available with pictures of your animals on it. It would make me smile so much!😁😍
I love how diverse your farm is..Scott the Peacock is gorgeous...Ruby and Opal are just adorable you should have MaryCarl write a story and illustrate it into a children's book..love you guys💜💜💜
Please tell Scott he has the most beautiful feathers! I wish my hair was 1/2 that nice. Nugget's never seen anything like that and he's fascinated. MaryCarl I love how you interact with the animals. She's destined for National Geographic Wild! Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
Baby ducks and chicks are so cute. Nugget not sure about Scott. Beautiful eggs of different colors. Marycarl does a good job raising her feather friends and knows everyone of them. She sure is a smart young lady. Garden looks good. 💕🐣🐤🐖
I just hatched twenty something chicken eggs in my incubator! This was my first time and I'm soooo excited... the chicks are so beautiful...and my bantam babies are so super tiny. 😍
Hello Cog Hill Family, I get such a kick out of every single video that you put out. Seeing how smart MaryCarl is when it comes to her Birds just totally amazes me. She is the age that I was when my family moved to Germany due to the military. My grandparents on both sides had homesteads but none of them had ducks, only chickens. It wasn't until I was an adult that my mother-in-law brought over a mallard that had quite a bit of wing damage on one side due to one of their dogs. We took it in of course, being in the middle of the winter time we had to house her in our bathroom, or extra bathroom that is. We named him Mally for short LOL. Come spring we could not keep him at the house he just kept taking off and going to the neighbors Pond and they did not like it. So we finally decided to take him to the park to the duck pond where hundreds of ducks and geese, called home. He had a friend named clubby who was missing one foot that was in a ball shape on the end of his leg. One named stubby who was missing an entire foot, and stood on a little stump of a leg. Every week me and my children would go sit at the duck pond and feed all of the Ducks and geese. When we talk about memories that is one memory my children always have is Raising our mallard named Mally. He had the most beautiful emerald green head I had ever seen. I wish I could be back in the country again I would sure love to raise some more ducks. I learned one thing if you're trying to keep ducks or chickens from flying away and you only want them to be able to get away from a predator you only clip One Wing. When you clip them both it evens it out and they can fly long distances across your yard. When you clip One Wing it allows them to safely gain air but keeps them from hard crashing because they can Coast in on One Wing. Thank you so much for the blessings that you give me by watching your Channel. As I said I get such a kick out of watching the kindness that you show your family as well as the kindness that you show your animals. Call yall, Doctor Coghill Dolittle. Your living my dream. Take care, God bless, Deb
Hey wonderful family!! So wonderful to see the new life coming to the farm!!! And to see all that winter garden growing so wonderful. I love carrots and the variety that you grow is amazing. I don’t know if they would grow like that here in Tennessee or not with all this orange clay we have. But you ask are just amazing and love watching you all so much. I love your podcast probably about the only one I do watch. Besides the millennial farmers call off the husk I think is the name of it.
I think the ducklings were so cute trying to swim in the water container!!! Don't think I have ever seen ducks eating scrambled eggs!!!!! What a beautiful sign for the future if only people could get along like your chicken, turkey and duck family! That red mud is going to be the death of you!Lol! Scott looks like he's on the red carpet, prancing around showing off his finery! Even the cat came to look and admire. Are some of the photos of the animals close-up ones that Mary Carl took with her new camera?? If so, they are beautiful and clear! God Bless!
Mary Carl you made my grandbaby s night when you said your friend Piper was getting two ducks ,she is four years old and just knew you meant her ,she loves watching your all's page
You know, once they listen to you while in the egg they seem to understand what you say lol. That one jumped right on the food bowl after you said something about it to your dad.
Magic feathers on those foul... Y'all always turn my frown upside down! ☹️😁 💚 You must have alot of great egg recipes 😊 What's y'all's favorite 💜 Peace☮️ Love❤️ and Happiness 😁 Yall

Mary Carl I saw on another You Tube channel that they have “Call Duck” shows you can enter your ducks in. From what I understand the smaller “Call Ducks” is what they use in the shows.
I only just started watching.. Love ducks and I want to learn all I can. I saw your egg comparison.. It almost changed my mind about getting ducks. Anyway I want to say your daughter is very smart and knows what she's talking about
MaryCarl is such a smart young lady and you can bet that she has a special place in this world!! And I agree with Corey R the Duck and Turkey momma's should be called "The Turducken Clan". And Scott is out of world beautiful!!!
Ohhhh my gosh im so in love with the baby ducks i so love ducks . my daughter and i had some chickens just to have better eggs and my daughter got herself a duck and i spoiled her i loved her so much. She was a trip lol thanks for sharing .

So cute how Nugget does those dance moves to get the mud off!! Hey, I think that is why anyone dances just makes you feel better :)
This is my favourite channel for the animals. Your daughter has so much knowledge about the animals she cares for xxx
It is truly amazing that MaryCarl can tell the difference between the yellow ducklings (in fact all of her birds)!
Mary Carl is over the top with excitement, you can here it in her voice. She is so cute and such a special person.
The whole family is so genuine and charming.
Ruby the turkey and Opal the Muscovy raising an adorable black chicken! I love it! Maybe the chick should be named Onyx, to keep the theme?
Love it!
I think they did name the chick Onyx.
Just goes to show you family is what you make it. ❤️😊

All your egg hatching talk has gotten me super excited to hatch my own birds...on my list to do this year(among other things lol) Have a good one, Chad
The ducklings are so darn cute. Next time we see them they are gonna be 3 times bigger.
There it goes again. MaryCarl taught me about where peacock feathers come from - the back, not the tail. Cool😍

YES!!!
I just thought the same thing..
