I’m moving to Denver soon. I’m 23 years old I’ve been working in school districts as a security officer and patrolling every middle school and elementary at night Following the Texas education codes deter Suspicious activitiy and giving good costumer service. I will apply here soon.
I got to check or I should say I got to help check and see if fire extinguishers got tampered with or stolen because people do like to temper with fire extinguishers and steal them and that’s not the best plan that they have ever thought of and this was at the Hampton Inn Hotel and suites in Greensburg Indiana. Just done just an East Michigan and when I say East Michigan I’m in E. Michigan Ave.
Domestic violence calls are some of the most dangerous calls to deal with and anytime we receive one, it is forwarded directly to the local law enforcement agency for that location.
We are actually working on one currently that shows the different type of vehicles in our fleet! I believe it's on the board for mid-October after a very cool video that we'll be releasing near the beginning of October.
We need a well organized company like this here in San Antonio. I have yet to be impressed with any one of the current companies in business here. Crappy pay, no benefits, and poor management is all I experienced in my 8 years as a security officer both noncommissioned and commissioned.
I haven't been an EMT or a firefighter or in the military but Plz tell me theres Still a CHANCE !! i can be an officer. I come from a military & law enforcement family. And i have a mixed martial arts background im very calm in very stressful situations . But no first responder background. But my work ethic to become an officer would be unmatched.
Great question! Many get into the security industry for the entirely wrong reasons. Some believe it is easy, some think that all that is required is to get some uniforms, mark up a vehicle and then go perform services at a contract here or there. These are entirely the wrong reasons to get in this industry. Worse yet, some get into it because of the "image" of the uniform or the feeling of "authority". These type of individuals have no business working in this profession, let alone attempting to own a business. If, however, you are not afraid of working extremely long hours yourself in order to get something that you believe in off the ground (such as seven days per week, 12 hours per day, for weeks on end!), understand the true costs of things (insurances, payroll taxes, overhead costs and can come up with what your real hourly rate should be based off of all these costs and factors), and are not afraid of failure... we wish you luck and success! Unless you are competing against us in the Denver area, in which case, we wish you the quickest failure! :D
@@Denver-metro-protective I totally agree. You have to commit to the work or you have no business in business. It’s a lot of blood sweat and tears, lots and lots of failures. For every 50 page cost proposal that took you a week to prepare you will get a hard no almost every time. But never quit trying. Don’t do it for the money, do it to help others while you also take care of your officers as well. Good luck Denver Metro and keep up the good work.
This seems like a squared away company compared to most. However, I think in the future, Security will be obsolete, and there will be more Private Police firms. Useless unarmed security guards will be out of work, eliminating the middle man all together. It will eventually be Departmental Police & Private Police. Watch! The Armed Security company I worked for just closed down and formed a Private Police agency (Nonprofit). They made us go through additional training (however, I am a certified former Police Officer with a department) and we have just got sworn in under Oath with full Police Powers. The city's PD is very low on resources, and couldn't afford to keep responding to our calls. So we nipped that in the bud.
You're right - that does sound too official. We'll just call it our "Group of Security Officers Who Receive Advanced Training and Work Directly With the Local Police Department Specialized Groups in Teams of Four to Six as Well as Alongside Case Workers, Mental Health Professionals and Other Specialized Agencies but Definitely Not Part of any Task Force Because that Makes Some People Jealous and Thinking that We're Referring to a Military Coalition" Unit. Sorry.
@@johnkaraoke9046 No idea what running NCIC has to do with the above video. As an LEO (a claim by you in your other posts), you should be ashamed of yourself. We are doing nothing but trying to help show how we can work together with different agencies and non-profit organizations to h.e.l.p. people. You, on the other hand, have posted numerous replies on our videos about how we "aren't even law enforcement". Well duh. And so? Does being law enforcement some how make you superior to others? Did you receive you position by being touched on the shoulder with a sword by the Queen of England? No. So stop with the "you are just trying to be cops" and "you can't do this or that". Who the hell cares? Only you. Perhaps you should stop being a law enforcement officer, where all you have under your belt is the ability to try to diminish the jobs done by security persons and instead become a doctor. THEN just think of how many people you can belittle for trying to do a job similar to yours... nurses, paramedics, therapists, medical assistants and on and on! You could literally spend even more time than you currently do to try an make security look bad and as a doctor instead belittle so many more professions! Your life could then be complete!!! I mean, who do they all think they are, trying to act like doctors by doing medical things. Don't they know how grand a doctor is? Or maybe you could be President! Oh, the possibilities. Listen - we know that you work for a tiny department and probably have plenty of free time, but perhaps you could spend more time trying to create relationships with other industries (maybe even security?). I know it may make you feel better to troll, but I believe you can be better than that.
